Ezekiel 4
1 Kami capa, kangphaek daek amlai long to la ah, na hma ah suem ah loe, a nuiah Jerusalem, vangpui krang to soi ah;
Thou also, son of man, take thee a tile, and lay it before thee, and pourtray upon it a city, even Jerusalem:
2 vangpui to takui ah, misa buephaih im to sah ah loe, sipae to thungah; misatuh kaminawk to pakhueng ah loe, a taengah thing abumnawk to suem boih ah.
and lay siege against it, and build forts against it, and cast up a mount against it; set camps also against it, and plant battering rams against it round about.
3 To pacoengah nangmah hoi vangpui salakah, sum sipae to thung ah; na mikhmai vangpui bangah anghae hmah, to tiah na takui baktih toengah, vang pui takui khoephaih to om tih. Hae loe Israel imthung takoh hanah angmathaih ah om tih.
And take thou unto thee an iron pan, and set it for a wall of iron between thee and the city: and set thy face toward it, and it shall be besieged, and thou shalt lay siege against it. This shall be a sign to the house of Israel.
4 Banqoi bangah angqoi ah loe, angsong ah, a nuiah Isarael imthung takoh zaehaih to amtii ah; to tiah nang songhaih ni zetto nihcae zaehaih to na phaw tih.
Moreover lie thou upon thy left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it: [according to] the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon it, thou shalt bear their iniquity.
5 Ani nambat baktih toengah, nihcae zaehaih saningnawk to na nuiah kam tik boeh; to pongah ni cumvai thum, qui takawtto thung, Israel imthung takoh zaehaih to na phaw tih.
For I have appointed the years of their iniquity to be unto thee a number of days, even three hundred and ninety days: so shalt thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.
6 To tiah na sak pacoengah, bantang bangah angqoi ah loe, angsong let ah, vaihi loe Judah imthung takoh zaehaih to ni qui palito thung na phaw tih; nang hanah nito hae saningto ah kang suek pae.
And again, when thou hast accomplished these, thou shalt lie on thy right side, and shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah: forty days, each day for a year, have I appointed it unto thee.
7 To tiah na takui ih Jerusalem to anghae thui ah, ban payangh loe, vangpui misa haih lok to thui ah.
And thou shalt set thy face toward the siege of Jerusalem, with thine arm uncovered; and thou shalt prophesy against it.
8 Khenah, na takuihaih ni boeng ai karoek to, hae bang hoi ho bangah nang qoi thaih han ai ah, qui hoiah kang taoeng han.
And, behold, I lay bands upon thee, and thou shalt not turn thee from one side to another, till thou hast accomplished the days of thy siege.
9 Ata dip, barli dip, peh, peh kathim, maket hoi tunhnawk to la ah, laom maeto thungah atok ah loe, takaw to sah ah; panak bang hoi nang songhaih ni, cumvai thum, qui takawtto karoek to takaw to buh ah caa ah.
Take thou also unto thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentils, and millet, and spelt, and put them in one vessel, and make thee bread thereof; [according to] the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon thy side, even three hundred and ninety days, shalt thou eat thereof.
10 To takaw to tah ah loe, nito naah shekel pumto caa ah; atue phak naah caa ah.
And thy meat which thou shalt eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day: from time to time shalt thou eat it.
11 To tiah tui to tah pacoengah, pailang hin vai tarukto ah tapraek ah loe, nae ah; atue phak naah nae ah.
And thou shalt drink water by measure, the sixth part of an hin: from time to time shalt thou drink.
12 Barli cang hoi sak ih takaw to buh ah caa ah; Kaminawk mikhnuk ah, kami aek kazaek hoiah takaw to hmai pahai ah, tiah ang naa.
And thou shalt eat it as barley cakes, and thou shalt bake it in their sight with dung that cometh out of man.
13 Angraeng mah, Israel kaminawk ka haek ih prae, Gentel kaminawk salakah angmacae mah amhnongsak ih ciimcai ai buh to caa o tih, tiah thuih.
And the LORD said, Even thus shall the children of Israel eat their bread unclean, among the nations whither I will drive them.
14 To naah kai mah, Angraeng Sithaw, khenah, ka hinghaih kam hnongsak ai vop, thendoeng nathuem hoi vaihi khoek to, angmah koeh ah kadueh moi, to tih ai boeh loe moi kasan mah kaek ih moi to ka caa vai ai vop; panuet kathok moi roe ka pakha thungah akun vai ai vop, tiah ka naa.
Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! behold, my soul hath not been polluted: for from my youth up even till now have I not eaten of that which dieth of itself, or is torn of beasts; neither came there abominable flesh into my mouth;
15 To pacoengah anih mah, Khenah, kami ih aek na ai maitaw aek to kang paek, maitaw aek hoiah takaw to pahai ah, tiah ang naa.
Then he said unto me, See, I have given thee cow’s dung for man’s dung, and thou shalt prepare thy bread thereon.
16 To pacoengah anih mah kai khaeah, Kami capa, khenah, Jerusalem comhaih takaw to ka boengsak ving han; kaminawk mah buh to tah o ueloe, mawnhaih hoiah caa o tih; tui doeh tah o ueloe, dawnraihaih hoiah nae o tih,
Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, behold, I will break the staff of bread in Jerusalem: and they shall eat bread by weight, and with carefulness; and they shall drink water by measure, and with astonishment:
17 takaw hoi tui khahaih to om tih, maeto hoi maeto dawnraihaih hoiah om o ueloe, angmacae zaehaih pongah dueh o boih tih.
that they may want bread and water, and be astonied one with another, and pine away in their iniquity.
