< Ezekiel 39 >
1 Kami capa Gog misa haih lok to thui ah loe, anih khaeah, Angraeng Sithaw mah, Khenah, Meshek hoi Tubal ih angraeng koek, Aw Gog, nang hae misa ah kang suek.
“As for you, O son of man, prophesy against Gog and declare that this is what the Lord GOD says: Behold, I am against you, O Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal.
2 Nang hae ahnuk ahma kang pahae moe, kang zaeh han, angthla parai aluek bang hoiah kang hoih moe, Israel maenawk nuiah kang zaeh han.
I will turn you around, drive you along, bring you up from the far north, and send you against the mountains of Israel.
3 Na banqoi ban ih kalii to ka takoih moe, na bantang ban ih laethaenawk to kang kraksak ving han.
Then I will strike the bow from your left hand and dash down the arrows from your right hand.
4 Nangmah hoi nangmah ih misatuh kaminawk boih, na taengah kaom kaminawk loe Israel maenawk nuiah nam timh o boih tih; tavaa congcanawk hoi moi kasannawk khaeah rawkcak ah kang paek o han, tiah thui paeh, tiah ang naa.
On the mountains of Israel you will fall—you and all your troops and the nations with you. I will give you as food to every kind of ravenous bird and wild beast.
5 Nang loe taw ah nam timh tih, tiah lok Ka thuih boeh, tiah Angraeng Sithaw mah thuih.
You will fall in the open field, for I have spoken, declares the Lord GOD.
6 Magog hoi tuipui thung ih prae ah kamongah khosah kaminawk nuiah hmai to ka patoeh han; to naah nihcae mah Kai loe Angraeng ni, tiah panoek o tih.
I will send fire on Magog and on those who dwell securely in the coastlands, and they will know that I am the LORD.
7 Kaciim kai ih ahmin hae kaimah ih kami Israelnawk salakah ka panoeksak han; to naah loe kaciim kai ih ahmin to amhnong o sak mak ai boeh; Kai loe Israelnawk ih Ciimcai Angraeng ni, tiah Sithaw panoek ai kaminawk mah doeh panoek o tih.
So I will make My holy name known among My people Israel and will no longer allow it to be profaned. Then the nations will know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.
8 Khenah, angzoh li boeh! Akoep boeh; hae ni loe ka thuih ih ni boeh ni, tiah Angraeng Sithaw mah thuih.
Yes, it is coming, and it will surely happen, declares the Lord GOD. This is the day of which I have spoken.
9 To naah Israel vangpuinawk thungah kaom kaminawk to caeh o ueloe, maiphaw maicanawk, misa angvaenghaih hmuennawk, kaliinawk hoi laethaenawk, misatukhaih thingboengnawk hoi tayaenawk to hmai ah tik o tih; saning sarihto thung hmaitik ih thing ah patoh o tih;
Then those who dwell in the cities of Israel will go out, kindle fires, and burn up the weapons—the bucklers and shields, the bows and arrows, the clubs and spears. For seven years they will use them for fuel.
10 nihcae loe lawk ah thing to aek o mak ai boeh, taw ih thing doeh pakhruh o mak ai boeh; maiphaw maicanawk to thing ah tik o tih; nihcae amrosak kaminawk to amro o sak ueloe, nihcae lomh kaminawk to lomh o toeng tih, tiah Angraeng Sithaw mah thuih.
They will not gather wood from the countryside or cut it from the forests, for they will use the weapons for fuel. They will loot those who looted them and plunder those who plundered them, declares the Lord GOD.
11 To na niah, Gog aphum hanah Israel prae thung, ni angyae bang ih tuipui caehhaih azawn ah, ahmuen to ka paek han; kholong caeh kaminawk mah hnah tamuep o thui tih; to ah Gog hoi anih ih kaminawk to aphum o boih tih; to azawn to Hamon Gog, tiah kawk o tih.
And on that day I will give Gog a burial place in Israel, the Valley of the Travelers, east of the Sea. It will block those who travel through, because Gog and all his hordes will be buried there. So it will be called the Valley of Hamon-gog.
12 Prae ciimsak hanah Israel imthung takoh mah khrah sarihto thung nihcae to aphum o tih.
For seven months the house of Israel will be burying them in order to cleanse the land.
13 Ue, prae thung ih kaminawk boih mah nihcae to aphum o tih; Ka lensawkhaih ni loe, nihcae hanah pahnet thai ai ih niah om tih, tiah Angraeng Sithaw mah thuih.
All the people of the land will bury them, and it will bring them renown on the day I display My glory, declares the Lord GOD.
14 To ahmuen ah kapha kholong caeh kaminawk abomhaih rang hoiah aphum ai ih anghmat kadueh qok long ah oh vop maw, tiah pakrong hanah, thoemto nongpanawk to qoi o tih; prae to ciimsak hanah khrah sarihto thung qok to pakrong o tih.
And men will be employed to continually pass through the land to cleanse it by burying the invaders who remain on the ground. At the end of the seven months they will begin their search.
15 Prae thung kholong caeh kaminawk mah kami ih ahuh to hnuk o naah, qok taengah angmathaih sah o tih; aphum kaminawk mah kadueh qok to Hamon-gog azawn ah aphum o tih.
As they pass through the land, anyone who sees a human bone will set up a pillar next to it, until the gravediggers have buried it in the Valley of Hamon-gog.
16 To ahmuen ih vangpui doeh Hamonah, tiah ahmin sah o tih. To tiah prae to ciim o sak tih.
(Even the city will be named Hamonah.) And so they will cleanse the land.
17 Kami capa, Angraeng Sithaw mah, Tavaa congca hoi taw ih moi congcanawk khaeah, maeto ah angpop oh loe, angzoh oh; Israel maenawk nuiah, nangcae han ka sak ih kalen parai angbawnhaih ahmuen ah, ahmuen kruek hoi angcuu oh, moi to caak moe, athii to naek hanah ang zoh oh.
And as for you, son of man, this is what the Lord GOD says: Call out to every kind of bird and to every beast of the field: ‘Assemble and come together from all around to the sacrificial feast that I am preparing for you, a great feast on the mountains of Israel. There you will eat flesh and drink blood.
18 Thacak kaminawk ih angan to na caa o ueloe, long angraeng capanawk ih athii to na nae o tih, Bashan prae ih kathawk tuu taenawk, tuucaanawk, maeh taenawk hoi maitaw taenawk ih athii to na naek o boih pacoengah, moi to na caa o tih.
You will eat the flesh of the mighty and drink the blood of the princes of the earth as though they were rams, lambs, goats, and bulls—all the fattened animals of Bashan.
19 Kang sak pae o coek ih angbawnhaih ahmuen ah, kathawk moi to kamhah aak ah na caa o ueloe, athii to paqui khoek to na nae o tih, tiah thuih.
At the sacrifice I am preparing, you will eat fat until you are gorged and drink blood until you are drunk.
20 Kai ih caboi nuiah angzo o ueloe, hrang hoi hrang lakok angthueng kaminawk, thacak kaminawk, misatuh congca kaminawk ih moi to zok kamhah ah na caa o tih, tiah Angraeng Sithaw mah thuih.
And at My table you will eat your fill of horses and riders, of mighty men and warriors of every kind,’ declares the Lord GOD.
21 Sithaw panoek kaminawk salakah ka lensawkhaih to kam tuengsak han, ka lokcaekhaih hoiah nihcae nuiah koeng ih ka ban to Sithaw panoek ai kaminawk boih mah hnu o tih.
I will display My glory among the nations, and all the nations will see the judgment that I execute and the hand that I lay upon them.
22 To na ni hoi kamtong Israel imthung takoh mah Kai loe nihcae ih Angraeng Sithaw ni, tito panoek o tih.
From that day forward the house of Israel will know that I am the LORD their God.
23 Israel kaminawk loe angmacae zaehaih pongah misong ah oh o, tiah Sithaw panoek ai kaminawk mah panoek o tih; Ka koeh ai ih zaehaih a sak o pongah, mikhmai ka hawktaak ving moe, angmacae ih misanawk ban ah ka paek; to naah nihcae loe sumsen hoiah amtim o boih.
And the nations will know that the house of Israel went into exile for their iniquity, because they were unfaithful to Me. So I hid My face from them and delivered them into the hands of their enemies, so that they all fell by the sword.
24 Angmacae amhnonghaih, a zae o haih baktih toeng ah, nihcae khaeah ka sak moe, mikhmai ka hawk pae ving.
I dealt with them according to their uncleanness and transgressions, and I hid My face from them.
25 To pongah Angraeng Sithaw mah, Misong angtanghaih thung hoiah Jakob to ka hoih moe, Israel kaminawk boih nuiah palungnathaih ka tawnh han, kaciim kai ih ahmin doeh kang sak haih han.
Therefore this is what the Lord GOD says: Now I will restore Jacob from captivity and will have compassion on the whole house of Israel, and I will be jealous for My holy name.
26 Nihcae to mi mah doeh pazih mak ai boeh, angmacae prae thungah kamongah khosak o naah, nihcae azathaih hoi a sak o ih ka koeh ai ih hmuennawk to pahnet o boih tih boeh.
They will forget their disgrace and all the treachery they committed against Me, when they dwell securely in their land, with no one to frighten them.
27 Nihcae to kaminawk khae hoi ka hoih let moe, a misanawk ih prae thung hoiah ka tacuu let naah, nihcae rang hoiah prae congca kaminawk mikhnuk ah, ka ciimhaih to amtueng tih;
When I bring them back from the peoples and gather them out of the lands of their enemies, I will show My holiness in them in the sight of many nations.
28 to naah kai loe nihcae to Sithaw panoek ai kaminawk salakah misong ah omsakkung ah ka oh, toe mi doeh anghmaa ai ah, nihcae to angmacae prae ah ka hoih let, kai loe angmacae ih Angraeng Sithaw ah ka oh, tiah nihcae mah panoek o tih, tiah thuih.
Then they will know that I am the LORD their God, when I regather them to their own land, not leaving any of them behind after their exile among the nations.
29 Israel imthung takoh nuiah ka Muithla to ka kraih han boeh pongah, nihcae khae hoi mikhmai ka hawk mak ai boeh, tiah Angraeng Sithaw mah thuih.
And I will no longer hide My face from them, for I will pour out My Spirit on the house of Israel, declares the Lord GOD.”
