< Ezekiel 26 >
1 Saning hathlaito haih, khrah tangsuek niah, Angraeng ih lok kai khaeah angzoh,
And it came to pass in the eleventh year, on the first day of the month, that the word of the Lord came unto me, saying,
2 kami capa, Tura mah Jerusalem kawng pongah, “Ha, ha!” kaminawk ih khongkha loe amtimh boeh; kai khaeah ni angzo let tih boeh, vangpui to amro boeh pongah, kai mah ka padoet let han, tiah thuih o:
Son of man, because Tyre hath said concerning Jerusalem, Aha, she is broken that was the gates of the people; she is turned unto me; I shall be made full, now she is laid in ruins:
3 to pongah Angraeng Sithaw mah, Khenah, Aw Tura, kangthawk tuipui ih tuiphu baktih toengah, nang tuk hanah pop parai prae kaminawk to ka hoih han.
Therefore thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Behold, I am against thee, O Tyre, and will bring up against thee many nations, as the sea causeth its waves to come up.
4 Nihcae mah Tura ih sipae to phrae o ueloe, imsangnawk to nuih pae o rup tih; anih ih maiphu doeh ka pahuih boih moe, thlung khue ka suek pae han, tiah thuih.
And they shall destroy the walls of Tyre, and pull down her towers: I will also flood away her earth from her, and I will change her into a naked rock.
5 Tuipui um ah palok payanghaih ahmuen to om tih; anih loe prae kaminawk amrohaih ah om tih, Kai mah thuih boeh, tiah Angraeng mah thuih.
A place for the spreading out of nets shall she be in the midst of the sea; for I have spoken it, saith the Lord Eternal: and she shall become a spoil to the nations.
6 Azawn ah kaom a canunawk loe sumsen hoiah dueh o tih; to naah nihcae mah Kai loe Angraeng ni, tito panoek o tih.
And her daughters that are in the field shall be slain with the sword: and they shall know that I am the Lord.
7 Angraeng Sithaw mah, Khenah, aluek bang hoiah siangpahrangnawk ih siangpahrang, Babylon siangpahrang Nebukhanezzar to, hrangnawk, misatukhaih hrang lakoknawk, hrang angthueng kaminawk, misatuh kaminawk hoi pop parai kaminawk to Tura tuk hanah kang patoeh han.
For thus hath said the Lord Eternal, Behold, I will bring against Tyre Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, from the north, the king of kings, with horses, and with chariot's, and with horsemen, and an assemblage, and a numerous people.
8 Anih mah azawn ah kaom na canunawk to sumsen hoiah hum tih; nang tuk hanah misa angvaenghaih im to sah o tih, misa buehaih tangqom to takae o ueloe, misa angvaenghaih to sin o tih.
Thy daughters in the field will he slay with the sword: and he shall place around thee works of attack, and cast up against thee a mound, and erect against thee a target-fence.
9 Nang ih tapangnawk paro hanah kalen thingtalong hoiah daeng o ueloe, nang ih imsang to thingkhuekhaih caka hoiah pakhru o tih.
And his catapults shall he set against thy walls, and thy towers shall he break down with his axes.
10 Hrang pop hmoek pongah nihcae mah cawh ih maiphu mah na khuk o khoep tih; sipae kamro vangpui thungah akun kaminawk baktih toengah, na khongkha thungah nihcae akun o naah, hrang angthueng kaminawk, relnawk, misatukhaih hrang lakoknawk ih atuen pongah nang ih tapangnawk to anghuen tih.
By reason of the abundance of his horses shall the dust they raise cover thee: by reason of the noise of horsemen, and wheels, and chariots, shall thy walls quake, when he entereth into thy gates, as men enter into a city that is broken in.
11 Hrangnawk mah kami to khok hoiah loklam boih ah atii o tih; nang ih kaminawk to sumsen hoiah hum o ueloe, kacak homhnawk doeh long ah amtim boih tih.
With the hoofs of his horses shall he tread down all thy streets: thy people will he slay with the sword, and the statues of thy strength shall come down to the ground.
12 Nihcae mah nang raenghaih tacongnawk to na lomh pae o ueloe, hmuenmaenawk to na muk pae o tih; tapangnawk to na phrae pae o ueloe, kahoih imnawk ang phraek pae o pacoengah, thlungnawk, thing hoi maiphunawk to tuipui thungah na va pae o boih tih, tiah thuih.
And they shall plunder thy riches, and make a spoil of thy merchandise; and they shall break down thy walls, and thy pleasure-houses shall they pull down: and thy stones and thy timber and thy earth shall they throw into the midst of the water.
13 Na sak o ih laa lok to ka petsak moe, na kruek o ih katoeng lok doeh thaih let han om mak ai boeh.
And I will cause the sound of thy songs to cease: and the tones of thy harps shall not be heard any more.
14 Nang to anui ih thlung baktiah kang sak han; nang loe palok payanghaih ahmuen ah na om tih; nang loe sah let mak ai boeh; Kai Angraeng mah lok ka thuih boeh, tiah Angraeng Sithaw mah thuih.
And I will change thee into a naked rock; a place to spread out nets upon shalt thou be; thou shalt not be rebuilt any more; for I the Lord have spoken it, saith the Lord Eternal.
15 Angraeng Sithaw mah Tura khaeah, Nang thungah kami humhaih phak moe, ahmaa kacaa kaminawk hang o naah, nam timhaih lok pongah tuipui thung ih praenawk to tasoeh o mak ai maw?
Thus hath said the Lord Eternal to Tyre, Truly at the noise of thy fall, when the deadly wounded whine, when the slaughter taketh place in the midst of thee, shall the islands quake.
16 To pacoengah tuipui thung ih angraengnawk loe angraeng tangkhang hoiah anghum o tathuk tih, kahninawk to pakhraep o ueloe, aem takaek ih kahninawk to angkhring o tih; nihcae mah tasoehhaih khukbuen angkhuk o pacoengah, long ah anghnu o tih; nang mah pazawk ih hmuen pongah dawnrai o ueloe, vaihi hoi vaihi tasoeh o tih.
Then shall all the princes of the sea come down from their thrones, and lay aside their robes, and their broidered garments shall they put off: with trembling shall they clothe themselves; upon the ground shall they sit, and shall tremble at every moment, and be astonished concerning thee.
17 Nihcae mah, Tuipui thungah kamo kaminawk mah ohhaih ih hmuen, aw ahmin kamthang vangpui, thacakhaih hoiah tuipui thungah kaom vangpui, nang hoi nangmah thungah kaom kaminawk mah azat paek ih vangpui, kawbang maw nam ro ving loe? tiah na naa o ueloe, na qah o thui tih.
And they shall lift up over thee a lamentation, and say to thee, How art thou lost, that wast inhabited [safely] by reason of the seas: O renowned city, which was strong on the sea, she and her inhabitants, who caused their terror to be on all that dwelt around her!
18 Vaihi nang amtimhaih niah tuipui thung ih praenawk to tasoeh o tih; ue, nang na duek pongah, tuipui thung ih praenawk loe zithaih hoiah khosah o tih boeh, tiah qahhaih laa to sah o tih.
Now shall the isles tremble on the day of thy fall; yea, the isles that are in the sea shall be troubled at thy end.
19 Angraeng Sithaw mah, Nang loe kami om ai vangpui baktiah angqai krangah kang suek han; kathuk tuipui to na nuiah kang phaksak han, tuipui mah nang ang uem naah,
For thus hath said the Lord Eternal, When I render thee a ruined city, like the cities that are not inhabited; when I bring up over thee the deep, and when the great waters cover thee:
20 canghnii ah kadueh kaminawk hoi nawnto tangqom thungah kang caeh haih tathuk han, nang thungah kami khosak han ai ah, kami om ai ahmuen long thungah caeh kaminawk hoi nawnto kang suek han; to naah kahing kaminawk ih prae ah Ka lensawkhaih to kam tuengsak han, tiah thuih.
Then will I bring thee down with those that descend into the pit, unto the people of olden time, and I will cause thee to dwell in the land of the nether world, among ruins of ancient days, with those that go down to the pit, in order that thou mayest not be inhabited; but I will bestow glory in the land of life.
21 Nang to zit kaom kami ah kang coengsak han, to naah nang loe dungzan ah nang hmaa zuep tih boeh; nang to pakrong o tih, toe hnu o thai let mak ai boeh, tiah Angraeng Sithaw mah thuih.
As though thou hadst not been will I render thee, and thou shalt be no more: and thou shalt be sought for, but thou shalt never be found any more to eternity, saith the Lord Eternal.
