1 To pacoengah Angraeng mah Mosi khaeah,
Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out], saying,
2 Kaminawk amkhuenghaih kahni im to, khrah hmaloe koek, ni tangsuek naah sah ah.
“On the first day of the first month Nissan ·Miracles (in Aramaic), 1· you shall raise up the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting.
3 Hnukung thingkhong loe, to kahni imthung ah suem ah, to thingkhong loe payang ih kahni hoiah khuk ah.
You shall put the ark of the testimony in it, and you shall screen the ark with the veil.
4 A thungah caboi suem ah loe, hmuennawk boih caboi nuiah suem ah; to pacoengah hmaithawk paanghaih tung to suem ah loe, hmai to paaang ah.
You shall bring in the table, and set in order the things that are on it. You shall bring in the menorah ·lamp·, and light its menorah ·lamp· candles.
5 Hmuihoih thlaekhaih hmaicam to hnukung thingkhong hmaa ah suem ah loe, kahni im akunhaih khongkha ah payang ih kahni hoiah pakaa ah.
You shall set the golden altar for incense before the ark of the testimony, and put the screen of the door to the tabernacle.
6 Amkhuenghaih kahni im akunhaih khongkha hmaa ah, hmai angbawnhaih hmaicam to suem ah.
“You shall set the altar of burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting.
7 Kaminawk amkhuenghaih kahni im hoi hmaicam salakah sabae kathuk to suem ah loe, a thungah tui to lawn ah.
You shall set the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and shall put water therein.
8 Longhma taeng to paka boih ah loe, longhma akunhaih khongkha taengah kahni to payang ah.
You shall set up the court around it, and hang up the screen of the gate of the court.
9 Tak bawhhaih situi to la ah loe, kahni im hoi a thungah kaom hmuennawk to nok boih ah; to ih hmuennawk to ciimsak boih ah, to tiah ni kahni im to ciim vop tih.
“You shall take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is in it, and shall make it holy, and all its furniture: and it will be holy.
10 To pacoengah hmai angbawnhaih hmaicam hoi hmuennawk to situi nok boih ah loe, hmaicam to ciimsak ah; to tiah ni kaciim koek hmaicam ah om tih.
You shall anoint the altar of burnt offering, with all its utensils, and sanctify the altar: and the altar will be most holy.
11 Kathuk sabae hoi pahnuthaih a khok to situi nok ah loe, ciimsak ah.
You shall anoint the basin and its base, and sanctify it.
12 Aaron hoi a caanawk to amkhuenghaih kahni im khongkha ah caehhaih ah loe, tui amhlusak ah.
“You shall bring Aaron [Light-bringer] and his sons to the door of the Tent of Meeting, and shall wash them with water.
13 Aaron hanah kaciim kahni to angkhuksak ah, qaima toksak thai hanah, situi to nok ah loe ciimsak ah.
You shall put on Aaron [Light-bringer] the holy garments; and you shall anoint him, and sanctify him, that he may minister to me in the priest’s office.
14 Anih ih caanawk to angzo haih ah loe, laihaw kasawk to angkhuksak ah.
You shall bring his sons, and put coats on them.
15 Kai khaeah qaima tok a sak o thai hanah, ampa situi hoi na bawh baktih toengah, a caanawk doeh bawh ah; a caanawk dung khoek to qaima ah oh poe han ih ni nihcae to situi hoiah na bawh, tiah a naa.
You shall anoint them, as you anointed their father, that they may minister to me in the priest’s office. Their anointing shall be to them for an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.”
16 Angraeng mah thuih ih lok baktih toengah, Mosi mah hmuennawk to sak boih.
Moses [Drawn out] did so. According to all that Adonai enjoined him, so he did.
17 To pongah saning hnetto haih, khrah tangsuek, ni hmaloe koek ah, Mosi mah kahni im to a sak.
In the first month Nissan ·Miracles (in Aramaic), 1· in the second year, on the first day of the month, the tabernacle was raised up.
18 Mosi mah kahni im sak naah, akhok pahnuthaih hmuennawk to kacakah a sak, thingphaeknawk to a sak moe, takraenghaih thingnawk to sak pacoengah, tungnawk to a sak.
Moses [Drawn out] raised up the tabernacle, and laid its sockets, and set up its boards, and put in its bars, and raised up its pillars.
19 To pacoengah kahni im to payuengh moe, Angraeng mah thuih ih lok baktih toengah, kani im ranuih to a khuk.
He spread the covering over the tent, and put the roof of the tabernacle above on it, as Adonai enjoined Moses [Drawn out].
20 Hnukung thingkhong to a lak moe, to thingkhong nuiah aputhaih thing to a hawt pacoengah, palungnathaih tangkhang to a nuiah suek.
He took and put the testimony into the ark, and set the poles on the ark, and put the mercy seat above on the ark.
21 Thingkhong to kahni imthung ah a sin moe, Angraeng mah thuih ih lok baktih toengah, hnukung thingkhong to payang ih kahni hoiah a khuk.
He brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the veil of the screen, and screened the ark of the testimony, as Adonai enjoined Moses [Drawn out].
22 Mosi mah caboi to amkhuenghaih kahni imthung aluek bang, payang ih kahni tasa bangah a suek.
He put the table in the Tent of Meeting, on the side of the tabernacle northward, outside of the veil.
23 Angraeng mah Mosi khaeah thuih ih lok baktih toengah, Angraeng hmaa ah takaw to a suek pae.
He set the bread in order on it before Adonai, as Adonai enjoined Moses [Drawn out].
24 Hmaithawk paaanghaih tung doeh kahni imthung, kahni im aloih bang ah a suek.
He put the menorah ·lamp· in the Tent of Meeting, opposite the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward.
25 Angraeng mah thuih ih lok baktih toengah, Angraeng hmaa ah hmaiim to paaang.
He lit the menorah ·lamp· candles before Adonai, as Adonai enjoined Moses [Drawn out].
26 Mosi mah sui hmaicam to amkhuenghaih kahni imthung, payang ih kahni hmaa ah a suek.
He put the golden altar in the Tent of Meeting before the veil;
27 Angraeng mah thuih ih lok baktih toengah, to ah hmuihoih to a thlaek.
and he burned incense of sweet spices on it, as Adonai enjoined Moses [Drawn out].
28 To pacoengah kahni im akunhaih thok taengah kahni to payang.
He put up the screen of the door to the tabernacle.
29 Kaminawk amkhuenghaih kahni im akunhaih thok taengah hmai angbawnhaih hmacam to a suek moe, Angraeng mah thuih ih lok baktih toengah, to hmaicam nuiah hmai angbawnhaih hoi cang angbawnhaih to a sak.
He set the altar of burnt offering at the door of the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting, and offered on it the burnt offering and the meal offering, as Adonai enjoined Moses [Drawn out].
30 Amkhuenghaih kahni im hoi hmaicam salakah, sabae kathuk to a suek moe, amsaehhaih tui to a lawn.
He set the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and put water therein, with which to wash.
31 Mosi, Aaron hoi a caanawk loe to ih tui hoiah khok bannawk to amsaeh o;
Moses [Drawn out], Aaron [Light-bringer], and his sons washed their hands and their feet there.
32 amkhuenghaih kahni imthung ah akun o moe, hmaicam taengah a caeh o naah, Angraeng mah Mosi khaeah thuih ih lok baktih toengah, nihcae loe tui hoiah amsaeh o.
When they went into the Tent of Meeting, and when they came near to the altar, they washed, as Adonai enjoined Moses [Drawn out].
33 To pacoengah Mosi mah hmaicam hoi longhma pakaahaih kahni to payang; longhma akunhaih khongkha taengah kahni to payang. To tiah Mosi mah toksakhaih to pacoeng.
He raised up the court around the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the screen of the gate of the court. So Moses [Drawn out] finished the work.
34 To naah amkhuenghaih kahni im to tamai mah khuk, kahni im loe Angraeng lensawkhaih hoiah koi.
Then the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting, and the kavod Yahweh ·weighty glory of He sustains breathing· filled the tabernacle.
35 Amkhuenghaih kahni im to tamai mah khuk khoep pongah, Mosi loe kahni imthung ah akun thai ai; to naah kahni im loe Angraeng lensawkhaih hoiah koi.
Moses [Drawn out] was not able to enter into the Tent of Meeting, because the cloud stayed on it, and the kavod Yahweh ·weighty glory of He sustains breathing· filled the tabernacle.
36 Israel kaminawk kholong caeh o naah, kahni im nui hoiah tamai angkhoeng pacoengah ni a caeh o vop;
When the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel [God prevails] went onward, throughout all their journeys;
37 tamai angkhoeng tahang ai nahaeloe, tamai angkhoeng tahang ai karoek to, kholong caeh o ai.
but if the cloud was not taken up, then they didn’t travel until the day that it was taken up.
38 Israel kaminawk kholong caeh o nathung, nihcae boih mikhnuk ah, athun naah Angraeng ih tamai to kahni im nuiah oh, khoving naah loe tamai nuiah hmai to oh.
For the cloud of Adonai was on the tabernacle by day, and there was fire in the cloud by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel [God prevails], throughout all their journeys.
