< Efisa 5 >

1 To pongah Sithaw mah palung ih caa ah na oh o baktih toengah, Sithaw hnukbang kami ah om oh;
do be therefore imitators of God as children beloved
2 Kri mah aicae ang palung moe, Sithaw khaeah hmuihoih ah oh hanah, angmah hoi angmah aicae angbawnhaih ah angpaek boeh, to pongah nangcae doeh amlunghaih hoiah khosah oh.
and do walk in love even as also Christ loved (us *NK(O)*) and gave up himself for (us *NK(O)*) [as] an offering and a sacrifice to God into an aroma of a sweet smell.
3 Kaciim kami ah na oh o boeh pongah, zae sakhaih, ciimcai ai hmuen hoi kamthlai hmoek koehhaihnawk nangcae thungah oh han om ai boeh;
Sexual immorality however and impurity all or covetousness not even should be named among you as is proper to saints
4 amhnonghaih, kamthu lok apaehhaih hoi tamhnui lok sakhaihnawk loe kamsoem hmuen na ai ni, to baktih hmuen sak pongah loe kawnhaih lok to thui o lat ah.
and filthiness and foolish talking or crude joking (which *N(k)O*) not (were fit *N(k)O*) but rather thanksgiving.
5 Nongpa nongpata zaehaih sah kami, ciimcai ai kami, kamthlai hmoek koeh kami, krang bok kaminawk loe Kri hoi Sithaw mah siangpahrang ah uk ih prae to toep o thai mak ai, tito na panoek o.
This for (you should know *N(k)O*) realizing that any fornicator or unclean person or covetous man, (who *N(k)O*) is an idolater, not has inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
6 Mi kawbaktih mah doeh avang ai lok hoiah na ling o hmah nasoe: to baktih hmuen pongah ni lok tahngai ai kaminawk nuiah Sithaw palungphuihaih to phak.
No one you should deceive with empty words; because of these things for comes the wrath of God upon the sons of disobedience.
7 To pongah nangcae loe nihcae hoi angkom o hmah.
Not therefore do be partakers with them.
8 Nangcae loe canghnii ah vinghaih thungah na oh o, toe vaihi loe Angraeng pongah aanghaih ah na oh o boeh: to pongah aanghaih caanawk baktiah khosah oh:
You were for once darkness now however light in [the] Lord; as children of light do walk —
9 (hoihhaih, toenghaih hoi loktangnawk boih loe Muithla ih thingthai ah ni oh; )
for the fruit of the (light [is] *N(K)O*) in all goodness and in righteousness and in truth —
10 Angraeng mah talawk thai koi hmuen to pakrong oh.
discerning what is well-pleasing to the Lord.
11 Athaih kaom ai kaving toksakhaih hoiah angkom o hmah, toe to baktih kaving toksakhaih to amtueng o sak ah.
And not do have fellowship with the works unfruitful of darkness, rather however even do expose [them];
12 Nihcae mah tamquta hoi sak o ih hmuennawk to lok hoi thuih han ih mataeng doeh azat thoh.
the [things] for in secret being done by them shameful it is even to mention.
13 Toe to tiah kamtueng hmuennawk loe kawbaktih hmuen maw, tito aanghaih mah ni amtuengsak: hmuennawk boih amtuengsakkung loe aanghaih hae ni.
But everything being exposed by the light is made visible; everything for which is becoming visible light is;
14 Anih mah, Aw iip kami nang anglawt laih, duekhaih thung hoi angthawk ah, to tih nahaeloe Kri mah aanghaih to na paek tih, tiah thuih.
Therefore it says: (do awake *N(k)O*) you who [are] sleeping and do rise up out from the dead, and will shine upon you Christ.
15 To pongah acoehaih hoiah khosah oh, kamthu baktiah om ai ah, palungha baktiah om oh,
do take heed therefore carefully how you walk not as unwise but as wise,
16 aninawk loe hoih ai boeh pongah, atue kahoih to paawt ah.
redeeming the time, because the days evil are.
17 To pongah kamthu baktiah om o hmah, Angraeng koehhaih panoek kami ah om oh.
Because of this not do be foolish, but (do understand *N(k)O*) what the will of the Lord [is].
18 Mu paqui o hmah, to tiah ohhaih mah sethaih to tacawtsak, to pongah Muithla hoi koi oh;
And not do be drunk with wine, in which is debauchery, Instead do be filled with [the] Spirit
19 maeto hoi maeto Saam laa, pakoehhaih laa hoi Muithla laa to sah oh, palung thung hoi Angraeng khaeah laa to sah oh;
speaking to each other (in *n*) psalms and in hymns and in songs spiritual, singing and making melody (in *ko*) the heart of you to the Lord,
20 hmuen boih ah aicae Angraeng Jesu Kri ih ahmin hoiah Pa Sithaw khaeah anghoehaih lawkthui o toepsoep ah;
giving thanks at all times for all things in [the] name the Lord of us Jesus Christ to the God and Father;
21 Sithaw zithaih hoiah maeto hoi maeto tlim ah khosah oh.
Be submitting yourselves to one another in reverence (of Christ. *N(K)O*)
22 Zunawk, Angraeng khaeah nang paek o baktih toengah, na savanawk khaeah angpaek oh.
you who [are] wives, to [your] own husbands (do submit yourselves *K(O)*) as to the Lord;
23 Kri loe kricaabu lu ah oh baktih toengah, sava loe zu ih lu ah oh: Anih loe takpum pahlongkung ah oh.
for (the *k*) husband is head of the wife as also Christ [is the] head of the church, (and *k*) He Himself (is *k*) Savior of the body;
24 Kricaabu mah Kri khaeah angpaek baktih toengah, zunawk mah doeh hmuen boih ah angmacae sava khaeah angpaek o nasoe.
But (even as *N(k)O*) the church is subjected to Christ so also wives (to [their] own *K*) husbands in everything.
25 Kri mah kricaabu palung moe, hinghaih paek baktih toengah, savanawk, na zu to palung oh;
you who [are] Husbands, do love the wives (of your own *K*) even as also Christ loved the church and Himself gave up for her
26 Anih mah kricaabu to tui hoiah pasae ueloe, lok hoiah ciimsak tih,
so that her He may sanctify having cleansed [her] by the washing of water by declaration
27 coek koi kaom ai, nganhin angcu ai, to tiah coek han koi tidoeh kaom ai, lensawk kricaabu maeto ah angmah khaeah paek thai hanah, coek koi kaom ai, ciimcai kricabu ah oh han angaih.
so that may present (He himself *N(k)O*) to Himself in glory the church not having spot or wrinkle or any of the such things, but that it may be holy and blameless.
28 To pongah nongpanawk mah a zunawk to angmacae ih takpum baktih toengah palung han oh. Azu palung kami loe angmah hoi angmah amlung kami ah oh.
So ought (also *no*) husbands to love the their own wives as the their own bodies. The [one] loving the his own wife himself loves;
29 Mi kawbaktih mah doeh angmah ih takpum to hnuma vai ai; Angraeng mah kricaabu khetzawn baktih toengah ni, a takpum to pacah moe, a khetzawn.
no [one] for at any time the his own flesh hated, but he nourishes and he cherishes it even as also [does] (Christ *N(K)O*) the church,
30 Aicae loe angmah ih takpum, angan, ahuh thungah kathum kami ah ni a oh o.
for members we are of the body of Him (from the flesh of Him and from the of bones of Him. *K*)
31 Hae pongah nongpa mah amno hoi ampa to caehtaak ueloe, a zu hoi nawnto om tih, to naah nihnik loe takpum maeto ah ni om hoi tih boeh.
Because of this will leave a man the father (of him *k*) and mother and will be joined to (the wife *NK(o)*) of him, and will be the two into flesh one.
32 Hae loe kalen loktamqu ah oh: toe kai loe, Kri hoi kricaabu kawng ni ka thuih.
mystery this great is, I myself however speak as to Christ and as to the church.
33 Toe nangmacae takpum na palung o baktih toengah, na zunawk to palung o toeng ah; zu mah doeh sava to khingya han oh.
However also you according to individual, each the his own wife so should love as himself, and the wife that she may respect the husband.
