Moreover all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkenedst not unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee:
46 To hmuennawk loe nangmah hoi na caanawk nuiah, dungzan angmathaih hoi dawnrai hmuen ah om tih.
And they shall be upon thee for a sign and for a wonder, and upon thy seed for ever.

Because thou servedst not the LORD thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all [things; ]

49 Nangcae tuksak hanah Angraeng mah tahmu baktih angtawt karang, a lok na thaih ai ih angthla parai, long boenghaih ahmuen ah kaom,
The LORD shall bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth, [as swift] as the eagle flieth; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand;

52 Na prae thungah na oep ih nangmah ih vangpui sipae amtim rup ai karoek to, na prae thung ih vangpuinawk to takui o boih tih; na Angraeng Sithaw mah ang paek o ih, prae thung ih vangpuinawk to takui o boih tih.
And he shall besiege thee in all thy gates, until thy high and fenced walls come down, wherein thou trustedst, throughout all thy land: and he shall besiege thee in all thy gates throughout all thy land, which the LORD thy God hath given thee.
53 Misa mah na takui khoep ueloe, poek patang loiah na Angraeng Sithaw mah ang paek ih na zok thung ih na canu hoi na capanawk mataeng doeh na caa tih.
And thou shalt eat the fruit of thine own body, the flesh of thy sons and of thy daughters, which the LORD thy God hath given thee, in the siege, and in the straitness, wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee:
54 Nangcae thung ih palungsawk koek kami hoi poek naem koek kami mah mataeng doeh angmah ih nawkamya, a palung ih a zu hoi kahing a caanawk nuiah tahmenhaih tawn mak ai;
[So that] the man [that is] tender among you, and very delicate, his eye shall be evil toward his brother, and toward the wife of his bosom, and toward the remnant of his children which he shall leave:
55 a caak ih ngan to a caak hanah, to kaom kami maeto han mataeng doeh paek mak ai; na misanawk mah vangpui takui o nathung tidoeh tawn ai ah khosak nathung, to tiah na misanawk mah poekhaih amtangsak tih.
So that he will not give to any of them of the flesh of his children whom he shall eat: because he hath nothing left him in the siege, and in the straitness, wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee in all thy gates.
56 Palungsawk moe, poek naem pongah, long cawh vai ai nongpata doeh caak han tawn ai pongah, a palung ih sava, a capa hoi a canu nuiah poeksethaih palungthin to tawn tih,
The tender and delicate woman among you, which would not adventure to set the sole of her foot upon the ground for delicateness and tenderness, her eye shall be evil toward the husband of her bosom, and toward her son, and toward her daughter,
57 a khok hnetto salak hoiah tacawt a caa nawkta, a zok thung hoi tapen a caanawk nuiah poeksethaih palungthin to tawn tih; misa mah vangpuinawk to takui khoep moe, poekhaih patangsak pongah, tamquta hoiah a caanawk to caa tih.
And toward her young one that cometh out from between her feet, and toward her children which she shall bear: for she shall eat them for want of all [things] secretly in the siege and straitness, wherewith thine enemy shall distress thee in thy gates.
58 Lensawk moe, zit kathok ahmin, na Angraeng Sithaw to zit hanah, hae cabu thungah tarik ih kaaloknawk hae acoehaih hoiah na pazui boih ai nahaeloe,
If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD;

Then the LORD will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, [even] great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance.
60 Na zit ih Izip prae nathaihnawk to, na nuiah phasak boih tih, nang khaeah akapsak caeng tih.
Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of; and they shall cleave unto thee.

Also every sickness, and every plague, which [is] not written in the book of this law, them will the LORD bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed.
62 Nang loe van ih cakaeh zetto na pop cadoeh, na Angraeng Sithaw ih lok to na tahngai ai pongah, zetta ah ni na om sut tih.
And ye shall be left few in number, whereas ye were as the stars of heaven for multitude; because thou wouldest not obey the voice of the LORD thy God.
63 Nang khosak na hoih moe, nang pung tahang naah, Angraeng anghoe baktih toengah, Angraeng loe nang to amrosak moe, tidoeh tawn ai ah ohsak hanah doeh anghoe; qawktoep han na caehhaih prae thung hoiah anih mah nang to amrosak tih.
And it shall come to pass, [that] as the LORD rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so the LORD will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to possess it.
64 To pacoengah Angraeng mah, long boenghaih maeto bang hoi kalah maeto bang khoek to, kaminawk salakah na haek o boih tih; to ahmuen ah nangmah hoi nam panawk mah panoek o vai ai ih, thing hoi sak moe, thlung hoiah sak ih kalah sithawnawk to na bok o tih.
And the LORD shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, [even] wood and stone.
65 Nang loe to prae kaminawk salakah anghakhaih na hnu mak ai; na khokpadae suekhaih kakhawt anghakhaih ahmuen mataeng doeh na tawn mak ai; toe Angraeng mah to ahmuen ah tasoehhaih palungthin, mik thazokhaih hoi palungsethaih to na paek tih.
And among these nations shalt thou find no ease, neither shall the sole of thy foot have rest: but the LORD shall give thee there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and sorrow of mind:
66 Oephaih om ai ah kho na sah ueloe, khoving khodai zithaih hoiah na om tih; oephaih kaom hinghaih to na tawn mak ai.
And thy life shall hang in doubt before thee; and thou shalt fear day and night, and shalt have none assurance of thy life:
67 Zithaih palungthin, mik hoi hnuk ih hmuen mah zithaih to paek pongah, khawnthaw ah niduem lai nasoe, tiah na thui ueloe, duembang ah khodai lai nasoe, tiah na thui tih.
In the morning thou shalt say, Would God it were even! and at even thou shalt say, Would God it were morning! for the fear of thine heart wherewith thou shalt fear, and for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see.
68 Hae loklam na hnu let mak ai boeh, tiah kang thuih ih loklam hoiah, Angraeng mah nang to, Izip prae ah palong pui hoiah na thak let tih, to prae ah misong nongpa hoi misong nongpata ah oh hanah, nangcae to misanawk khaeah na zaw tih; toe mi mah doeh nangcae to qan mak ai.
And the LORD shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy [you].
