He who is wounded in the testicles, or has his private part cut off, shall not enter into the assembly of Jehovah.
2 Payang caa loe Angraeng ih kaminawk amkhuenghaih ahmuen ah akun thai mak ai; a caanawk dung hato karoek to Angraeng kaminawk akunhaih ahmuen ah akun thai mak ai.
A bastard shall not enter into the assembly of Jehovah, even to the tenth generation none of his shall enter into the assembly of Jehovah.
3 Ammon hoi Moab kaminawk doeh Angraeng ih kaminawk amkhuenghaih ahmuen ah akun o thai mak ai; a caanawk dung hato karoek to Angraeng ih kaminawk amkhuenghaih ahmuen ah akun thai mak ai;
An Ammonite or a Moabite shall not enter into the assembly of Jehovah, even to the tenth generation none belonging to them shall enter into the assembly of Jehovah forever,
4 Izip prae hoi nang zoh o naah, loklam ah takaw hoiah maw, tui hoiah maw, na dawt o ai; nihcae loe nangcae tangoengsak hanah Mesopotamia prae, Pethor vangpui ah kaom Boer capa Balaam to pacae o.
because they met you not with bread and with water on the way, when ye came forth out of Egypt, and because they hired against thee Balaam the son of Beor from Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse thee.
5 Toe nangcae ih Angraeng Sithaw mah Balaam ih lok to tahngai pae ai; na Angraeng mah ang palung o pongah, tangoenghaih to tahamhoihaih ah ang paqoi pae o lat.
Nevertheless Jehovah thy God would not hearken to Balaam, but Jehovah thy God turned the curse into a blessing to thee, because Jehovah thy God loved thee.
6 Na hing o thung hae kaminawk hoi natuek naah doeh angdaehhaih sah o hmah.
Thou shall not seek their peace nor their prosperity all thy days forever.
7 Edom kaminawk to hnuma o hmah; nihcae loe nangcae ih nawkamya ah ni oh o; Izip kaminawk doeh hnuma o hmah, nangcae loe nihcae prae ah angvin ah na oh o.
Thou shall not abhor an Edomite, for he is thy brother. Thou shall not abhor an Egyptian, because thou were a sojourner in his land.
8 Nihcae ih caa adung thumto haih naah ni, Angraeng ih kaminawk amkhuenghaih ahmuen ah akun o thai tih.
The sons of the third generation who are born to them shall enter into the assembly of Jehovah.
9 Misatuh kaminawk misatuk han caeh o naah, kahoih ai hmuennawk to ayae o boih ah.
When the army goes forth against thine enemies, then thou shall keep thee from every evil thing.
10 Nangcae thung ih nongpa maeto loe aqum ah kaom hmuen pongah ciimcai ai ah om nahaeloe, ataihaih ahmuen tasa bangah tacawt han oh, ataihaih ahmuen ah angzoh han om ai.
If there be among you any man, who is not clean by reason of an accident by night, then he shall go abroad out of the camp. He shall not come inside the camp.
11 Toe duembang ah tui amhluh ueloe, ni akun pacoengah ni ataihaih im ah amlaem vop tih.
But it shall be, when evening comes on, he shall bathe himself in water, and when the sun is down, he shall come inside the camp.
12 Nangcae ataihaih tasa bangah palaep caehhaih ahmuen maeto sah oh, to ahmuen ah palaep caeh oh;
Thou shall have a place also outside the camp, where thou shall go forth abroad.
13 ataihaih tasa bangah palaep na caeh o naah, long takaehhaih kamsum hmuen to sin oh loe, long takhaeh pacoengah palaep caeh oh, palaep na caeh o pacoengah aphum o let ah.
And thou shall have a paddle among thy weapons, and it shall be, when thou sit down abroad, thou shall dig with it, and shall turn back and cover that which comes from thee.
14 Nangcae ih Angraeng Sithaw loe nangcae to pahlong moe, na misanawk nangcae ban ah paek hanah, na tai o haih ahmuen ah amkaeh; to pongah nangcae thungah ciimcai ai hmuennawk to anih mah hnuk moe, nangcae angqoi taak ving han ai ah, na oh o haih ahmuen to ciimcai o sak ah.
For Jehovah thy God walks in the midst of thy camp, to deliver thee, and to give up thine enemies before thee. Therefore thy camp shall be holy, that he may not see an unclean thing in thee, and turn away from thee.
15 Angmah ih angraeng khae hoi nang khaeah kacawn misong to angmah ih angraeng khaeah paek let hmah.
Thou shall not deliver to his master a servant who is escaped from his master to thee.
16 To misong loe a oh koehhaih kaw baktih ahmuen ah doeh, na ohhaih vangpui kawbaktih ahmuen ah doeh oh thaih; anih to pacaekthlaek hmah.
He shall dwell with thee, in the midst of thee, in the place which he shall choose within one of thy gates, where it pleases him best. Thou shall not oppress him.
17 Israel nongpatanawk loe tangzat zawh han om ai, nongpanawk doeh nongpata baktiah takpum zawh han om ai.
There shall be no prostitute of the daughters of Israel, neither shall there be a sodomite of the sons of Israel.
18 Tangzat zawh ih phoisa, lokkamhaih sak hanah ui zawh ih phoisanawk to na Angraeng Sithaw im ah sin o hmah; hae hmuennawk loe Angraeng hmaa ah panuet thoh.
Thou shall not bring the hire of a harlot, or the wages of a dog, into the house of Jehovah thy God for any vow, for even both these are an abomination to Jehovah thy God.
19 Nam nawkamya hanah phoisa na coisak naah, a caa to la hmah; phoisa maw, caak koi hmuennawk maw, to tih ai boeh loe kawbaktih hmuen nuiah maw doeh, a caa to la hmah;
Thou shall not lend upon interest to thy brother: interest of money, interest of food, interest of anything that is lent upon interest.
20 minawk kalah khaeah loe kangpung a caa to la ah; toe Israel kami nam nawkamyanawk khaeah loe la hmah; to tiah ni na toep han ih prae thungah na kun naah, na ban hoi sui ih hmuen boih ah na Angraeng Sithaw mah tahamhoihaih paek tih.
To a foreigner thou may lend upon interest, but to thy brother thou shall not lend upon interest, that Jehovah thy God may bless thee in all that thou put thy hand to, in the land where thou go in to possess it.
21 Na Angraeng Sithaw khaeah lokkamhaih na sak nahaeloe, na sak ih lokkamhaih to sah ai ah om hmah; na Angraeng Sithaw mah suk ueloe, na zaehaih ah om moeng tih.
When thou shall vow a vow to Jehovah thy God, thou shall not be slack to pay it. For Jehovah thy God will surely require it of thee, and it would be sin in thee.
22 Toe lokkamhaih na sah ai nahaeloe, na zaehaih ah om mak ai.
But if thou shall forbear to vow, it shall be no sin in thee.
23 Na pakha hoi tacawt hmuen to sah boih ah; na koehhaih baktih toengah, na Angraeng Sithaw khaeah pakha hoi sak ih lokkamhaih baktiah sah ah.
That which has gone out of thy lips thou shall observe and do, according as thou have vowed to Jehovah thy God, a freewill offering, which thou have promised with thy mouth.
24 Na imtaeng kami ih misur takha thungah na caeh nahaeloe, misurthaih to na koeh zetto na caak thaih, toe daengkraem hoiah na phaw mak ai.
When thou come into thy neighbor's vineyard, then thou may eat thy fill of grapes at thine own pleasure, but thou shall not put any in thy vessel.
25 Na imtaeng kami ih lawk thungah na caeh nahaeloe, cangqui to na ban hoi pahoeh thaih; toe cakra hoiah na aat mak ai.
When thou come into thy neighbor's standing grain, then thou may pluck the ears with thy hand, but thou shall not move a sickle to thy neighbor's standing grain.
