< Daniel 12 >
1 To naah nangmah ih kaminawk pakaakung, angraeng kalen Mikael to angzo tih; prae oh amtong tangsuek na hoi vaihi khoek to kaom vai ai, patangkhang raihaih to om tih. To naah cabu thungah kaom nangmah ih kaminawk loe loih o boih tih.
'And at that time stand up doth Michael, the great head, who is standing up for the sons of thy people, and there hath been a time of distress, such as hath not been since there hath been a nation till that time, and at that time do thy people escape, every one who is found written in the book.
2 Maiphu thungah iip kami paroeai angthawk o tih, thoemto kaminawk loe dungzan hinghaih ah angthawk o ueloe, thoemto kaminawk loe azathaih hoi dungzan lokcaekhaih ah angthawk o tih.
'And the multitude of those sleeping in the dust of the ground do awake, some to life age-during, and some to reproaches — to abhorrence age-during.
3 Palungha kaminawk loe van aanghaih baktih toengah aang o tih; kami paroeai toenghaih thungah zaehoikung loe cakaeh baktiah dungzan hoi dungzan khoek to aang tih.
And those teaching do shine as the brightness of the expanse, and those justifying the multitude as stars to the age and for ever.
4 Toe Aw Daniel nang loe, atue boeng khoek to loknawk to taphong hmah, cabu to catui daeng ah; paroeai kaminawk loe ahnuk ahmaa cawn o ueloe, palunghahaih to angpung tih.
And thou, O Daniel, hide the things, and seal the book till the time of the end, many do go to and fro, and knowledge is multiplied.'
5 To pacoengah Kai, Daniel mah ka khet naah, vapui hae bang zaeh ah maeto, ho bang zaeh ah maeto kangdoe, kalah kami hnetto ka hnuk.
And I have looked — I, Daniel — and lo, two others are standing, one here at the edge of the flood, and one there at the edge of the flood,
6 Nihnik thung ih maeto mah puu ngan kahni angkhuk, vapui nuiah angdoe kami khaeah, Hae dawnrai hmuennawk boenghaih atue nasetto maw akra tih? tiah a dueng.
and he saith to the one clothed in linen, who [is] upon the waters of the flood, 'Till when [is] the end of these wonders?'
7 Puu ngan khukbuen hoiah amthoep vapui nuiah angdoe kami loe, a ban to van ah payangh tahang hmaek moe, atue maeto, atuenawk, atue ahap thungah om tih, ahmuen kruekah kaciim kaminawk ih thacakhaih ampraek phang pacoengah loe, hae hmuennawk boih hae boeng tih boeh, tiah dungzan ah kahing Sithaw ih ahmin hoiah sak ih lokkamhaih to ka thaih.
And I hear the one clothed in linen, who [is] upon the waters of the flood, and he doth lift up his right hand and his left unto the heavens, and sweareth by Him who is living to the age, that, 'After a time, times, and a half, and at the completion of the scattering of the power of the holy people, finished are all these.'
8 To lok to ka thaih, toe ka thaikop ai pongah, Aw ka Angraeng, hae hmuennawk loe kawbangmaw boeng tih? tiah ka naa.
And I have heard, and I do not understand, and I say, 'O my lord, what [is] the latter end of these?'
9 Anih mah, Daniel, caeh lai ah; boenghaih pha ai karoek to, to loknawk to taphong han ai ah catui daeng ah oh boeh, tiah ang naa.
And he saith, 'Go, Daniel; for hidden and sealed [are] the things till the time of the end;
10 Paroeai kaminawk loe tanoekhaih oh naah ciim o ueloe, coek koi om ai ah anglung o tih, toe kasae kaminawk loe sethaih sah o poe tih; palungha kaminawk loe thaikop o tih, toe kasae kaminawk loe thaikophaih tawn o mak ai.
Purify themselves, yea, make themselves white, yea, refined are many: and the wicked have done wickedly, and none of the wicked understand, and those acting wisely do understand;
11 Ni thokkruek sak ih angbawnhaih to phraek ving moe, panuet thok hmuen sahkung angzohhaih atue hoi kamtong ni sang, cumvai hnet, qui takawtto akra tih.
and from the time of the turning aside of the perpetual [sacrifice], and to the giving out of the desolating abomination, [are] days a thousand, two hundred, and ninety.
12 Ni sang, cumvai thum, pumphae panga karoek to zing kami loe tahamhoih.
O the blessedness of him who is waiting earnestly, and doth come to the days, a thousand, three hundred, thirty and five.
13 Toe nang loe boeng khoek to caeh ah; to pacoengah nang hak tih, boenghaih tue phak naah na hnuk ih qawktoep hanah nang thawk let tih, tiah ang naa.
And thou, go on to the end, then thou dost rest, and dost stand in thy lot at the end of the days.'
