1 Sithaw koehhaih baktiah Jesu Kri mah patoeh ih kami, Pawl hoi aicae amnawk Timote mah,
Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timotheus [our] brother,
2 Kolosa vangpui ih Kri ah oep kaom nawkamya hoi kaciim kaminawk khaeah ca tarik: aicae Ampa Sithaw khae hoi ih tahmenhaih hoi monghaih nangcae khaeah om nasoe.
To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace [be] unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 Aicae Angraeng Jesu Kri ih Ampa Sithaw khaeah, kawnhaih lok ka thuih o,
We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,
4 Kri Jesu to na tang o moe, kaciim kaminawk boih na palung o ti, tiah tamthang ka thaih o,
Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love [which ye have] to all the saints,
5 nangcae hanah van ah oephaih to suek boeh, tiah canghniah loktang tamthanglok hoih hoiah na thaih o boeh pongah, nangcae hanah lawk kang thuih pae o toepsoep,
For the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, whereof ye heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel;
6 long pum ah to tamthanglok hoih amthang baktih toengah, nangcae khaeah doeh phak boeh; to lok to na thaih o moe, Sithaw tahmenhaih na panoek o tangtang na ni hoi kamtong, nangcae thungah toksak moe, qoeng tahang pacoengah, athaih to athaih:
Which is come unto you, as [it is] in all the world; and bringeth forth fruit, as [it doth] also in you, since the day ye heard [of it], and knew the grace of God in truth:
7 nangcae khaeah oep kaom ah Kri ih tok sah, a palung o ih nawnto toksah tamna, Epaphra mah ang patuk o ih baktih toengah,
As ye also learned of Epaphras our dear fellowservant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ;
8 Muithla ah na tawnh o ih amlunghaih to anih mah kaicae khaeah ang thuih.
Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.
9 To pongah nangcae ih tamthang ka thaih o tangsuek na ni hoi kamtong, boeng ai ah nangcae han lawk ka thuih o, palunghahaih, muithla hoi kasaeng panoek thaihaih, a koeh ih hmuen panoekhaih hoiah na koi o thai hanah ka hnik o;
For this cause we also, since the day we heard [it], do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
10 to tiah ni Angraeng koehhaih baktiah na hing o tih, kahoih toksakhaih boih ah athaih na thai o ueloe, Sithaw panoekhaih bangah na qoeng o tahang tih;
That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
11 hmuen boih ah nang hoe o ueloe, palungsawkhaih hoiah na pauep o thai tih, lensawk a thacakhaih baktih toengah, thacakhaih boih hoiah tha na cak o sak tih,
Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;
12 aanghaih thungah kaom kaciim kaminawk ih qawk toep hanah sahkung, Ampa khaeah kawnhaih lawk ka thuih:
Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
13 Anih mah kaving thacakhaih thung hoiah aicae loihsak boeh moe, a palung o ih Capa prae thungah ang hoih o boeh:
Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated [us] into the kingdom of his dear Son:
14 angmah ih athii rang hoiah zae tahmenhaih hoi Anih ah akranghaih to a hnuk o boeh.
In whom we have redemption through his blood, [even] the forgiveness of sins:
15 Anih loe mik hoi hnu thai ai Sithaw ih krang ah oh moe, sak ih hmuennawk boih thungah tapen tangsuek ah oh:
Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
16 van hoi long ah kaom hmuennawk, hnuk thai ih hmuennawk hoi hnuk thai ai ih hmuennawk, angraeng tangkhangnawk doeh, pazawkhaihnawk doeh, ukhaihnawk doeh, thacakhaihnawk doeh Anih mah ni sak boih: hmuennawk boih Anih mah sak moe, angmah han ih ni a sak:
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether [they be] thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
17 Anih loe hmuennawk boih om ai naah oh boeh, anih rang hoiah ni hmuennawk boih to oh.
And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
18 Anih loe takpum hoi kricaabu ih lu ah oh: anih loe hmuennawk boih ranui koek ah oh thai hanah takungpui ah oh moe, duekhaih thung hoi tapen hmaloe koekah oh;
And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all [things] he might have the preeminence.
19 hmuennawk boih akoephaih loe anih ah oh, Ampa to palung anghoesak;
For it pleased [the Father] that in him should all fulness dwell;
20 thinglam nui hoi kalong athii rang hoiah angdaehhaih to a ohsak, van ih hmuennawk hoi long ih hmuennawk, hmuennawk boih anih rang hoiah Sithaw khaeah angdaehhaih to a sak.
And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, [I say], whether [they be] things in earth, or things in heaven.
21 Kahoih ai hmuen na sak o pongah, nangcae loe palung thung hoi misa ah na oh o moe, Sithaw hoi nam praek o; toe anih mah vaihi angdaehsak let boeh
And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in [your] mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled
22 a takpum duekhaih rang hoiah nangcae to Anih hmaa ah coek koi kaom ai, zaehaih kaom ai, kaciim ah angdoetsak hanah,
In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
23 tanghaih bangah na cak o poe nahaeloe, kacakah angdoe oh loe, na thaih o ih van tlim ah kaom sak ih hmuennawk boih khaeah taphong ih, kahoih tamthanglok oephaih hoiah angqoi o ving hmah; hae pongah ni Kai, Pawl doeh toksah kami maeto ah ang ohsak.
If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and [be] not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, [and] which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;
24 Vaihi nangcae han patang ka khang pongah anghoehaih ka tawnh, a takpum ah kaom, Kricaabu hanah Kri mah tongh ih patangkhanghaih to ka takpum nuiah phaksak han ka koeh:
Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body’s sake, which is the church:
25 kakoep Sithaw ih lok to ka taphong moe, Sithaw toksak hanah nangcae khaeah ang patoeh baktih toengah, Sithaw toksah kami maeto ah ka oh;
Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;
26 canghnii adung paroeai thung taphong ai ah hawk ih kathuk lok to vaihi kaciim angmah ih kaminawk khaeah amtuengsak boeh: (aiōn )
[Even] the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: (aiōn )
27 paroeai atho kaom lensawkhaih loktamqu to Gentelnawk khaeah thuih hanah, Sithaw mah kaciim kaminawk khaeah amtuengsak han koeh; to hmuen loe kalen sawk oephaih ah kaom, nangcae thungah kacaeng Kri to ni:
To whom God would make known what [is] the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
28 Anih ih tamthanglok to aicae mah taphong o, kami boih Kri Jesu ah akoep o thai hanah, kami boih a thuihtaek o moe, kami boih palunghahaih lok a patuk o:
Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:
29 Anih mah thacakhaih ang paek baktih toengah, kai doeh tha pathokhaih hoiah tok ka sak toeng.
Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.
