1 Ahab duek pacoengah, Moab mah Israel to tuk.
Then Moab rebelled against Israel after the death of Ahab:
2 Ahaziah loe Samaria vangpui ah ranuih ih thokbuem hoiah krak moe, ngannat pongah, Hae nathaih hoi ngantui let tih maw tiah dueng hanah, Ekron vangpui ih sithaw Baal-Zebub khaeah laicaeh patoeh.
And Ahaziah fell thorow the lattesse windowe in his vpper chamber which was in Samaria: so he was sicke: then he sent messengers, to whome he saide, Goe, and enquire of Baal-zebub the God of Ekron, if I shall recouer of this my disease.
3 Toe Angraeng ih van kami mah Tishbeh acaeng Elijah khaeah, Angthawk loe, Samaria siangpahrang ih laicaehnawk to tongh hanah caeh tahang ah; nihcae khaeah, Israel prae ah Sithaw om ai pongah maw, Ekron sithaw Baal-Zebub khaeah lokdueng hanah na caeh?
Then the Angel of the Lord said to Eliiah the Tishbite, Arise, and goe vp to meete the messengers of the King of Samaria, and say vnto them, Is it not because there is no God in Israel, that ye goe to enquire of Baal-zebub the god of Ekron?
4 To pongah vaihi Angraeng mah, Nang songhaih ihkhun nui hoiah nang hum mak ai; na dueh tangtang tih boeh, tiah thuih, tiah a naa. To pongah Elijah loe caeh moe, anih mah thuih ih baktih toengah a thuih pae.
Wherefore thus saith the Lord, Thou shalt not come downe from the bed on which thou art gone vp, but shalt die the death. So Eliiah departed.
5 Laicaehnawk siangpahrang khaeah amlaem o let naah, siangpahrang mah nihcae khaeah, Tipongah nam laem o let loe? tiah a naa.
And the messengers returned vnto him, to whome he said, Why are ye nowe returned?

To pongah nang loe angsonghaih ihkhun nui hoiah nang hum mak ai, na dueh tangtang tih boeh, tiah thuih, tiah thui pae oh, tiah ang naa, tiah a thuih pae o.
And they answered him, There came a man and met vs, and saide vnto vs, Goe, and returne vnto the King which sent you, and say vnto him, Thus saith the Lord, Is it not because there is no God in Israel, that thou sendest to enquire of Baal-zebub the God of Ekron? Therefore thou shalt not come downe from the bed, on which thou art gone vp, but shalt die ye death.
7 Siangpahrang mah nihcae khaeah, Hae loknawk thuih hanah nangcae tongh kami loe kawbaktih kami maw? tiah a naa.
And he saide vnto them, What maner of man was he which came and met you, and tolde you these wordes?
8 Nihcae mah siangpahrang khaeah, Anih loe nganmui pop kami, kaeng ah moihin qui angzaeng kami ah oh, tiah a naa o. To naah siangpahrang mah, Anih loe Tishbeh acaeng Elijah bae to, tiah a naa.
And they said vnto him, He was an hearie man, and girded with a girdle of lether about his loynes. Then sayde he, It is Eliiah the Tishbite.
9 To naah siangpahrang mah misatuh angraeng maeto hoiah anih ih kami quipangatonawk to Elijah khaeah patoeh. Khenah, misatuh angraeng loe mae nuiah kanghnu, Elijah khaeah caeh tahang moe, anih khaeah, Sithaw kami, siangpahrang mah, Angzo tathuk nasoe, tiah a thuih, tiah a naa.
Therefore the King sent vnto him a captaine ouer fiftie with his fiftie men, who went vp vnto him: for beholde, he sate on the toppe of a mountaine, and he saide vnto him, O man of God, the King hath commanded that thou come downe.
10 Elijah mah misatuh angraeng khaeah, Sithaw kami ah ka oh nahaeloe, van hoi hmai krah tathuk nasoe loe, nangmah hoi nang mah ih kami quipangatonawk to kangh nasoe, tiah a naa. Van hoiah hmai to krak tathuk moe, misatuh angraeng hoiah anih ih kami quipangatonawk to kangh.
But Eliiah answered, and saide to the captaine ouer the fiftie, If that I be a man of God, let fire come downe from the heauen, and deuoure thee and thy fiftie. So fire came downe from the heauen and deuoured him and his fiftie.
11 To pacoengah siangpahrang mah misatuh angraeng maeto hoi anih ih kami quipangatonawk to patoeh let. Misatuh angraeng mah anih khaeah, Sithaw kami, siangpahrang mah, Karangah angzoh tathuk nasoe, tiah a thuih, tiah a naa.
Againe also he sent vnto him another captaine ouer fiftie, with his fiftie. Who spake, and saide vnto him, O man of God, thus the King commandeth, Come downe quickely.
12 Elijah mah nihcae khaeah, Sithaw kami ah ka oh nahaeloe, van hoiah hmai krah tathuk nasoe loe, nangmah hoi na taengah kaom kami quipangatonawk to kangh nasoe, tiah a naa. To naah van hoiah Sithaw ih hmai to krak tathuk moe, anih hoi anih ih kami quipangatonawk to kangh.
But Eliiah answered, and saide vnto them, If I be a man of God, let fire come downe from the heauen, and deuoure thee and thy fiftie. So fire came downe from the heauen, and deuoured him and his fiftie.
13 Anih mah thumto haih misatuh angraeng maeto hoi kami qui pangaonawk to patoeh let. Thumto haih misatuh angraeng loe caeh tahang moe, Elijah hmaa ah khokkhu cangkrawn hoi akuep moe, anih khaeah, Sithaw kami, ka hinghaih hoi na tamna quipangatonawk ih hinghaih to na pathlung pae hanah tahmenhaih kang hnik.
Yet againe he sent the third captaine ouer fiftie with his fiftie. And the thirde captaine ouer fiftie went vp, and came, and fell on his knees before Eliiah, and besought him, and saide vnto him, O man of God, I pray thee, let my life and the life of these thy fiftie seruants be precious in thy sight.
14 Khenah, van hoiah hmai krak tathuk moe, hmaloe ih misatuh kaminawk hoi hnetto haih misatuh angraeng loe hmai mah kangh boih boeh, toe vaihi ka hinghaih na pathlung raeh, tiah a naa.
Beholde, there came fire downe from the heauen and deuoured the two former captaines ouer fiftie with their fifties: therefore let my life nowe be precious in thy sight.
15 Angraeng ih van kami mah Elijah khaeah, Anih hoi nawnto caeh tathuk ah; anih to zii hmah, tiah a naa. Elijah loe angthawk moe, siangpahrang khaeah anih hoi nawnto caeh tathuk.
And the Angel of the Lord said vnto Eliiah, Goe downe with him, be not afraide of his presence. So he arose, and went downe with him vnto the King.
16 Anih mah siangpahrang khaeah, Angraeng mah, Israel prae ah lokdueng hanah Sithaw om ai pongah maw, Ekron sithaw Baal-Zebub khaeah lokdueng hanah kami na patoeh? To pongah nang songhaih ihkhun nui hoiah natuek naah doeh nang hum tathuk mak ai, na dueh tangtang tih boeh, tiah a naa.
And he saide vnto him, Thus saith the Lord, Because thou hast sent messengers to enquire of Baal-zebub the god of Ekron, (was it not because there was no God in Israel to inquire of his worde?) therefore thou shalt not come downe off the bed, on which thou art gone vp, but shalt die the death.
17 To pongah Angraeng mah Elijah khaeah thuih pae ih lok baktih toengah, anih loe duek. Ahaziah loe capa tawn ai pongah, Judah siangpahrang Jehosaphat capa Jehoram siangpahrang ah ohhaih saning hnetto naah, amnawk Jehoram mah siangpahrang tok to sak.
So he dyed according to the worde of the Lord which Eliiah had spoken. And Iehoram began to reigne in his steade, in the seconde yeere of Iehoram the sonne of Iehoshaphat King of Iudah, because he had no sonne.

Concerning the rest of the actes of Ahaziah, that he did, are they not written in the booke of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel?
