< 2 Korin 10 >
1 Nangcae hoi nawnto oh naah misa ka set moe, nangcae hoi angtla naah misa ka hoih, tiah na poek o ih, Kai, Pawl mah, Kri tuinom hoi poeknaemhaih hoiah kang pacae o:
Now by the mildness and gentleness of Christ, I appeal to you—I, Paul, who am humble when face to face with you, but bold when away.
2 kai kang zoh naah, long taksa koehhaih baktiah kho ka sak o, tiah poekhaih tawn thoemto kaminawk to misahoihaih hoiah ka thuitaek han, tiah poekhaih ka tawnh; toe nangcae khae kang zoh naah, to baktih misahoihaih hoiah kang zoh han ai ah, tahmenhaih kang hnik o.
I beg you that when I come I may not need to be as bold as I expect toward those who presume that we live according to the flesh.
3 Kaicae loe taksa ah ka oh o, toe taksa koehhaih baktiah misa ka tuh o ai:
For though we live in the flesh, we do not wage war according to the flesh.
4 (kaicae misatukhaih maiphaw loe taksa maiphaw na ai, Sithaw rang hoiah sipae amtimsak thaih Sithaw thacakhaih to ni maiphaw ah ka patoh o; )
The weapons of our warfare are not the weapons of the world. Instead, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.
5 to maiphaw patohhaih rang hoiah ni lok angaekhaih, Sithaw panoek thaih han ai ah pakaahaih ah kaom amoekhaih, misong ah oh koehhaih palungthin tawn kaminawk boih mah Kri ih lok to tahngaih o.
We tear down arguments and every presumption set up against the knowledge of God; and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
6 Nangcae ih lok tahngaihaih hoiah na koep o naah, lok tahngai ai kaminawk danpaek hanah kam sak o coek boeh.
And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, as soon as your obedience is complete.
7 Nangcae loe anui aphawn ah amtuenghaih maw na khet o? Mi kawbaktih doeh angmah hoi angmah to Kri ih kami ah ka oh, tiah poek nahaeloe, anih loe Kri ih kami ah oh baktih toengah, kaicae doeh Kri ih kami ah ni ka oh o toeng, tiah angmah hoi angmah poekhaih tawn let raeh nasoe.
You are looking at outward appearances. If anyone is confident that he belongs to Christ, he should remind himself that we belong to Christ just as much as he does.
8 Nangcae amro han ih na ai ah, na qoeng o tahang thai hanah, Angraeng mah kaicae han paek ih sakthaihaih to ka zat haih mak ai; kam oek haih aep han:
For even if I boast somewhat excessively about the authority the Lord gave us for building you up rather than tearing you down, I will not be ashamed.
9 ka tarik ih ca loe nangcae pazihhaih ca baktiah ohsak moeng han ka koeh ai.
I do not want to seem to be trying to frighten you by my letters.
10 Nihcae mah, Pawl ih capatnawk loe hmuen kazit ah oh moe, thacak; toe a takpum loe thacak ai kami ah oh, a thuih ih lok loe avanghaih tidoeh om ai, tiah thuih o.
For some say, “His letters are weighty and forceful, but his physical presence is unimpressive, and his speaking is of no account.”
11 Nangcae hoi nawnto ka oh naah ka sak ih tok loe, nangcae hoi kangthla ah ka oh naah tarik ih ca hoiah lahhaih om mak ai, tito to kaminawk mah panoek o han oh.
Such people should consider that what we are in our letters when absent, we will be in our actions when present.
12 Nihcae loe angmacae hoi angmacae angtah o moe, maeto hoi maeto angnoek o pongah, nihcae loe palungha ai kami ah oh o; kaicae loe angmah hoi angmah amkoeh kaminawk hoi nawnto kroek hmaek hanih maw, to tih ai boeh loe patah hanih ka koeh o ai.
We do not dare to classify or compare ourselves with some who commend themselves. When they measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves, they show their ignorance.
We, however, will not boast beyond our limits, but only within the field of influence that God has assigned to us—a field that reaches even to you.
14 Nangcae khae khoek to sakthaihaih akaa ka tawn o ai baktih toengah, ka sak o thaih ih hmuennawk pong kamtlai ah ka sah o ai: Kri tamthanglok thuihhaih hoiah ni nangcae khaeah kang zoh o:
We are not overstepping our bounds, as if we had not come to you. Indeed, we were the first to reach you with the gospel of Christ.
15 kaicae loe tahhaih hmuennawk pong kamtlai ah, minawk toksakhaih thungah kam oek o ai; toe nangcae tanghaih bangah na qoeng o tahang naah loe, ka sak o ih tok to nangcae taengah kaom kaminawk khae khoek to kawk tih, tiah oephaih ka tawnh o,
Neither do we boast beyond our limits in the labors of others. But we hope that as your faith increases, our area of influence among you will greatly increase as well,
16 to tiah ni nangcae ohhaih ahmuen laep ah kahoih tamthanglok to ka taphong o thai tih, minawk kalah mah sak pacoeng ih ahmuen thungah amoek han ka koeh o ai.
so that we can preach the gospel in the regions beyond you. Then we will not be boasting in the work already done in another man’s territory.
17 Toe amkoeh kaminawk loe, Angraeng ah amkoeh nasoe.
Rather, “Let him who boasts boast in the Lord.”
18 Angmah hoi angmah amkoeh kami loe tapom han krah ai, Angraeng mah pakoeh ih kami ni tapom han krak.
For it is not the one who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends.
