< 2 Dungkrhoekhaih 36 >
1 To pacoengah prae kaminawk mah Josiah capa Jehoahaz to lak o moe, ampa zuengah Jerusalem ah siangpahrang ah suek o.
Then the people of the land took Jehoahaz the son of Josiah, and made him king in his father’s stead in Jerusalem.
2 Jehoahaz siangpahrang ah oh amtong naah saning pumphae thumto oh boeh; anih mah Jerusalem to khrah thumto thung uk.
Jehoahaz [was] twenty and three years old when he began to reign, and he reigned three months in Jerusalem.
3 Izip siangpahrang mah angraeng tangkhang hoi anghumsak tathuk moe, Judah khaeah sumkanglung talent cumvaito hoi sui talent maeto tamut ah paeksak.
And the king of Egypt put him down at Jerusalem, and condemned the land in an hundred talents of silver and a talent of gold.
4 Izip siangpahrang mah Jehoahaz ih amnawk Eliakim to Judah hoi Jerusalem ah siangpahrang ah suek moe, Eliakim to Jehoiakim, tiah ahmin to paek. Toe Neko mah Eliakim ih amya Jehoiakim to Izip prae ah caeh haih.
And the king of Egypt made Eliakim his brother king over Judah and Jerusalem, and turned his name to Jehoiakim. And Necho took Jehoahaz his brother, and carried him to Egypt.
5 Jehoiakim siangpahrang toksak amtong naah saning pumphae pangato oh boeh; anih mah Jerusalam to saning hatlaito thung uk: anih loe angmah ih Angraeng Sithaw hmaa ah kahoih ai hmuen to sak.
Jehoiakim [was] twenty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem: and he did [that which was] evil in the sight of the LORD his God.
6 To pongah Babylon siangpahrang Nebukhadnezzar mah caeh moe, Babylon ah hoih hanah, anih to sumqui hoiah pathlet.
Against him came up Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and bound him in fetters, to carry him to Babylon.
7 Nebukhednazar loe Angraeng imthung ih laom sabaenawk to lak moe, angmah ih tempul thungah suek.
Nebuchadnezzar also carried of the vessels of the house of the LORD to Babylon, and put them in his temple at Babylon.
8 Jehoiakim siangpahrang ah oh nathung, a sak ih hmuennawk, a sak ih panuet thok hmuennawk hoi a poekhaih palungthinnawk boih loe Israel hoi Judah siangpahrangnawk ih cabu thungah tarik o. To pacoengah a capa Jehoiachin mah anih zuengah prae to uk.
Now the rest of the acts of Jehoiakim, and his abominations which he did, and that which was found in him, behold, they [are] written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah: and Jehoiachin his son reigned in his stead.
9 Jehoiachin siangpahrang ah oh amtong naah saning tazetto oh boeh; anih mah Jerusalem to khrah thumto pacoeng, ni hato thung uk; anih loe Angraeng mikhnukah kasae hmuen to sak.
Jehoiachin [was] eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned three months and ten days in Jerusalem: and he did [that which was] evil in the sight of the LORD.
10 Saning boeng tom naah loe, Nebukhadnezzar siangpahrang mah kami patoeh moe, anih to Babylon ah hoih sak, Angraeng imthung ih atho kana laom sabaenawk boih to sinsak moe, Jehoiachin ih amnawk Zedekiah to Judah hoi Jerusalem ukkung siangpahrang ah suek.
And when the year was expired, king Nebuchadnezzar sent, and brought him to Babylon, with the goodly vessels of the house of the LORD, and made Zedekiah his brother king over Judah and Jerusalem.
11 Zedekiah siangpahrang ah oh tangsuek naah, saning pumphaeto pacoeng, saningto oh boeh; anih mah Jerusalem to saning hatlaito thung uk.
Zedekiah [was] one and twenty years old when he began to reign, and reigned eleven years in Jerusalem.
12 Anih loe angmah ih Angraeng Sithaw mikhnukah kahoih ai hmuen to sak, Angraeng ih pakha thung hoi lokthuikung tahmaa Jeremiah hmaa ah a poekhaih to pahnaem ai.
And he did [that which was] evil in the sight of the LORD his God, [and] humbled not himself before Jeremiah the prophet [speaking] from the mouth of the LORD.
13 Sithaw ih ahmin hoiah lokkamhaih sah pae kami, Nebukhadnezzar doeh anih mah misa angthawk thuih; anih loe tahnong amtaksak moe, palung doeh thah parai pongah, Israel Angraeng Sithaw khaeah amlaem ai.
And he also rebelled against king Nebuchadnezzar, who had made him swear by God: but he stiffened his neck, and hardened his heart from turning unto the LORD God of Israel.
14 Kalen koek qaimanawk hoi prae kaminawk boih doeh, Sithaw panoek ai kaminawk baktih toengah panuet thok zaehaih to sak o; Angraeng angmah Jerusalem ah ciimsak ih Angraeng ih im to amhnong o sak.
Moreover all the chief of the priests, and the people, transgressed very much after all the abominations of the heathen; and polluted the house of the LORD which he had hallowed in Jerusalem.
15 Anih ampanawk ih Angraeng Sithaw mah angmah ih kaminawk hoi a ohhaih ahmuen to tahmen pongah, khawnthaw ah angthawk moe, angmah ih laicaehnawk patohhaih rang hoiah lok a thuih pae langlacadoeh,
And the LORD God of their fathers sent to them by his messengers, rising up betimes, and sending; because he had compassion on his people, and on his dwelling place:
16 Sithaw ih laicaehnawk to pahnuih o thuih, a thuih ih loknawk to tidoeh sah pae o ai, anih ih tahmaanawk to pacaekthlaek pae o pongah, angmah ih kaminawk nuiah boeng thai ai Angraeng palungphui to phak.
But they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and misused his prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against his people, till [there was] no remedy.
17 To pongah nihcae tuk hanah Khaldea siangpahrang to kawk pae; anih mah a caa thendoengnawk to hmuenciim ah sumsen hoiah hum pae; thendoeng, tangla, nongpa mitong hoi nongpata mitongnawk doeh pathlung ai; Sithaw mah nihcae boih Nebukhadnezzar ban ah paek.
Therefore he brought upon them the king of the Chaldees, who slew their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion upon young man or maiden, old man, or him that stooped for age: he gave [them] all into his hand.
18 Sithaw imthung ih laom sabaenawk boih, kathoeng doeh kalen doeh, Angraeng im ih hmuennawk, siangpahrang hoi angmah angraengnawk ih hmuennawk boih Babylon ah sinh pae king.
And all the vessels of the house of God, great and small, and the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king, and of his princes; all [these] he brought to Babylon.
19 Nihcae mahg Sithaw im to hmai hoiah thlaek o moe, Jerusalem sipae to phraek o; siangpahrang imnawk boih doeh hmai hoiah thlaek pae o; atho kaom to ih laom sabaenawk to paro pae o boih.
And they burnt the house of God, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem, and burnt all the palaces thereof with fire, and destroyed all the goodly vessels thereof.
20 Sumsen hoi loih kaminawk to Babylon ah hoih o moe, Persia prae ukhaih pha ai karoek to, siangpahrang hoi a capanawk ih tamna ah oh o.
And them that had escaped from the sword carried he away to Babylon; where they were servants to him and his sons until the reign of the kingdom of Persia:
21 Israel prae mah anghoehaih hoi Sabbath ni to patoh hanah, Jeremiah mah thuih ih Angraeng ih lok baktih toengah, saning quisarihto akoep ai karoek to prae thungah kami angqai krangah ohhaih atue thungah ni Sabbath ni to zah o.
To fulfil the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had enjoyed her sabbaths: [for] as long as she lay desolate she kept sabbath, to fulfil threescore and ten years.
22 Persia siangpahrang Cyrus angraenghaih saningto haih naah, Jeremiah mah thuih ih Angraeng ih lok to akoep hanah, Angraeng mah Persia siangpahrang Cyrus ih palungthin to pahruek pae; anih mah prae thung boih ah lok to taphong moe, hae tiah ca tarik,
Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD [spoken] by the mouth of Jeremiah might be accomplished, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and [put it] also in writing, saying,
23 Persia siangpahrang Cyrus mah, Van ih Angraeng Sithaw mah long nui ih prae boih hae kai hanah paek boeh; Judah prae, Jerusalem ah, Anih han im sak pae hanah kai hae ang suek boeh. Anih loe angmah ih kami ah kaom nangcae khae boih ah oh, Judah prae ah caeh tahang han koeh kaminawk loe angmah ih Angraeng Sithaw mah om thui nasoe, tiah a naa.
Thus saith Cyrus king of Persia, All the kingdoms of the earth hath the LORD God of heaven given me; and he hath charged me to build him an house in Jerusalem, which [is] in Judah. Who [is there] among you of all his people? The LORD his God [be] with him, and let him go up.
