< 2 Dungkrhoekhaih 33 >
1 Manasseh loe siangpahrang ah oh naah saning hatlai hnetto ni oh vop; anih mah Jerusalem to saning quipangato uk.
Manasseh [was] twelve years old when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty and five years in Jerusalem:
2 Angraeng mah Israel kaminawk hmaa ah vah pae phaeng ih, Sithaw panoek ai kaminawk mah sak o ih panuet thok hmuennawk baktiah, Angraeng mikhnukah kahoih ai hmuen to a sak.
But did [that which was] evil in the sight of the LORD, like unto the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD had cast out before the children of Israel.
3 Ampa Hezekiah mah phraek tangcae hmuensangnawk to a sak let; Baal bokhaih hmaicamnawk to a sak let moe, Asherah thingnawk to a tling let; van ih cakaehnawk hmaa ah akuep o moe, a bok o.
For he built again the high places which Hezekiah his father had broken down, and he reared up altars for Baalim, and made groves, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.
4 Angraeng mah, Jerusalem ah Ka hmin om poe tih, tiah thuih ih ahmuen, Angraeng imthung ah kadueh sithaw bokhaih hmaicamnawk to a sak.
Also he built altars in the house of the LORD, whereof the LORD had said, In Jerusalem shall my name be for ever.
5 Angraeng ih longhma hnetto ahmuen ah doeh, cakaehnawk hanah hmaicamnawk to a sak pae.
And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD.
6 Hinnom capa ih azawn ah a capanawk to hmai angbawnhaih ah a paek; atue pakoep moe, angzo han koi hmuen to a khet, lung aahhaih, miklet khethaih, kadueh pakhra kawkhaih, taqawk hoi mauih akun thaihaih hmuennawk doeh a sak. Angraeng palungphuisak hanah a mikhnukah kasae hmuennawk to a sak.
And he caused his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom: also he observed times, and used enchantments, and used witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar spirit, and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.
7 Sithaw mah David hoi a capa Solomon khaeah, Israel acaengnawk boih thungah, ka qoih ih Jerusalem vangpui thungah kaom, hae im thungah dungzan khoek to ka hmin ka suek han, tiah thuih ih ahmuen, Angraeng Sithaw im ah angmah sak ih krang maeto a suek:
And he set a carved image, the idol which he had made, in the house of God, of which God had said to David and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen before all the tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:
8 Nihcae khaeah ka thuih ih lok baktih, Mosi khaeah ka paek ih kaalok baktih toengah, Israel kaminawk mah acoehaih hoiah pazui o nahaeloe, nihcae ampanawk khaeah ka paek ih prae thung hoiah nihcae ih khok to ka tahruet pae mak ai, tiah a thuih pae.
Neither will I any more remove the foot of Israel from out of the land which I have appointed for your fathers; so that they will take heed to do all that I have commanded them, according to the whole law and the statutes and the ordinances by the hand of Moses.
9 Toe Manasseh mah Judah hoi Jerusalem ih kaminawk to loklam amkhraengsak, Israel caanawk hmaa ah Angraeng mah amrosak ih, Sithaw panoek ai kaminawk pongah kasae kue hmuen to a sak.
So Manasseh made Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to err, [and] to do worse than the heathen, whom the LORD had destroyed before the children of Israel.
10 Angraeng mah Manasseh hoi angmah ih kaminawk khaeah lokthuih pae, toe nihcae mah tahngai pae o ai.
And the LORD spake to Manasseh, and to his people: but they would not hearken.
11 To pongah Angraeng mah nihcae tuk hanah, Assyria siangpahrang ih misatuh angraengnawk to patoeh pae; nihcae mah Manasseh to soekhring thungah naeh o moe, khok ah thlongthuk pae o pacoengah, Babylon ah caeh o haih.
Wherefore the LORD brought upon them the captains of the host of the king of Assyria, which took Manasseh among the thorns, and bound him with fetters, and carried him to Babylon.
12 Patangkhang naah ampanawk ih Sithaw hmaa ah poek sanghaih to pahnaem moe, angmah ih Angraeng Sithaw khaeah tahmenhaih a hnik.
And when he was in affliction, he besought the LORD his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers,
13 Anih khaeah lawkthuih naah, Angraeng mah lawkthuihaih hoi tahmen hnikhaih to tahngaih pae; to pongah anih to angmah ih prae, Jerusalem ah caeh haih let. To naah Manasseh mah Angraeng loe Sithaw ni, tiah panoek.
And prayed unto him: and he was intreated of him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the LORD he [was] God.
14 To pacoengah David vangpui tasa bang, Gihon vangpui niduem bang ih tanga khongkha khoek to, Ophel misa abuephaih ahmuen taeng khoek to, kasang parai sipae to a sak; Judah prae thung ih kacak vangpuinawk ohhaih ahmuen kruekah, misatuh kaminawk to a suek.
Now after this he built a wall without the city of David, on the west side of Gihon, in the valley, even to the entering in at the fish gate, and compassed about Ophel, and raised it up a very great height, and put captains of war in all the fenced cities of Judah.
15 Sithaw panoek ai kalah acaeng kaminawk ih sithawnawk to vah king moe, Angraeng imthung hoiah krangnawk to takhoe boih; Angraeng im ohhaih mae nui hoi Jerusalem vangpui ah a sak ih hmaicamnawk doeh, vangpui tasa bangah a vah boih.
And he took away the strange gods, and the idol out of the house of the LORD, and all the altars that he had built in the mount of the house of the LORD, and in Jerusalem, and cast [them] out of the city.
16 To pacoengah anih mah Angraeng ih hmaicam to sak pakhraih; angdaeh angbawnhaih hoi anghoe angbawnhaih to a sak moe, Israel Angraeng Sithaw ih toksak hanah Judah kaminawk hanah lokpaek.
And he repaired the altar of the LORD, and sacrificed thereon peace offerings and thank offerings, and commanded Judah to serve the LORD God of Israel.
17 Toe kaminawk loe kasang ahmuennawk ah angbawnhaih sak toengtoeng vop, toe to angbawnhaih loe angmacae Angraeng Sithaw khae khue ah ni a sak o.
Nevertheless the people did sacrifice still in the high places, [yet] unto the LORD their God only.
18 Manasseh siangpahrang ah oh nathung sak ih hmuennawk, angmah ih Sithaw khaeah lawkthuihaih hoi Israel Angraeng Sithaw ih ahmin hoiah tahmaanawk mah anih khaeah thuih pae ih loknawk boih loe, Israel siangpahrangnawk ih cabu thung ah tarik o.
Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and his prayer unto his God, and the words of the seers that spake to him in the name of the LORD God of Israel, behold, they [are written] in the book of the kings of Israel.
19 Anih lawkthuihaih kawng, anih lawkthuihaih Sithaw mah tahngaih paehaih kawng, a sakpazae ih hmuen hoi kasang ahmuennawk sakhaih kawng, Asherah thing hoi krangnawk sakhaih kawng, anih mah poek pahnaemhaih tawn ai naah sak ih hmuennawk boih loe, tahmaanawk ih cabu thungah tarik o.
His prayer also, and [how God] was intreated of him, and all his sin, and his trespass, and the places wherein he built high places, and set up groves and graven images, before he was humbled: behold, they [are] written among the sayings of the seers.
20 Manasseh loe ampanawk khaeah anghak moe, siangpahrang angmah ih imthung ah aphum o. Anih zuengah a capa Amon to siangpahrang ah oh.
So Manasseh slept with his fathers, and they buried him in his own house: and Amon his son reigned in his stead.
21 Amon loe siangpahrang ah oh naah, saning pumphae hnetto oh moe, Jerusalem ah saning hnetto thung siangpahrang tok to a sak.
Amon [was] two and twenty years old when he began to reign, and reigned two years in Jerusalem.
22 Ampa Manasseh mah sak ih baktih toengah, anih mah doeh Angraeng mikhnukah kahoih ai hmuen to sak; Manasseh mah sak ih krangnawk to Amon mah bok moe, angbawnhaih to a sak.
But he did [that which was] evil in the sight of the LORD, as did Manasseh his father: for Amon sacrificed unto all the carved images which Manasseh his father had made, and served them;
23 Toe ampa Manasseh baktiah, Angraeng hmaa ah poek pahnaem ai, kanung aep zaehaih to a sak.
And humbled not himself before the LORD, as Manasseh his father had humbled himself; but Amon trespassed more and more.
24 Amon angmah ih tamnanawk mah anih to hum han pacaeng o moe, angmah ih siangpahrang imthung ah a hum o.
And his servants conspired against him, and slew him in his own house.
25 Toe prae kaminawk mah Amon siangpahrang hum kaminawk to hum o boih; anih zuengah a capa Josiah mah prae to uk.
But the people of the land slew all them that had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his stead.
