< 2 Dungkrhoekhaih 30 >
1 Hezekiah mah Israel prae hoi Judah prae boih ah ca pat pae, Angraeng ih im ohhaih, Jerusalem vangpui ah sak ih misong loihaih poihkung ah, Israel Angraeng Sithaw ih ahmin pakoeh hanah angzo oh, tiah Ephraim hoi Manasseh khaeah doeh ca a paek.
Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah, and wrote letters also to Ephraim and Manasseh, that they should come to the LORD’s house at Jerusalem, to keep the Passover to the LORD, the God of Israel.
2 Khrah hnetto haih naah, misong loihhaih poih sak hanah, siangpahrang mah angmah ih angraengnawk hoi Jerusalem ah kaom rangpuinawk palung adue o.
For the king had taken counsel with his princes and all the assembly in Jerusalem to keep the Passover in the second month.
3 Qaimanawk loe toksak han kamcuk ah ciimcai o ai, Judah kaminawk doeh Jerusalem ah amkhueng o ai pongah, angmah sakhaih atue thuem ah misong loihhaih poih to sah o thai ai.
For they could not keep it at that time, because the priests had not sanctified themselves in sufficient number, and the people had not gathered themselves together to Jerusalem.
4 Siangpahrang hoi kaminawk loe sak han kaom to baktih hmuen nuiah poeknawm o ai.
The thing was right in the eyes of the king and of all the assembly.
5 Cabu thungah tarik ih baktih toengah, paroeai kasawk atue thungah misong loihhaih poih to sah o vai ai boeh pongah, kaminawk loe angzoh o moe, Jerusalaem ah Israel Angraeng Sithaw khaeah, misong loihhaih poih sak han ih ahmuen to, Israel prae thung boih, Beersheba hoi Dan prae karoek to taphong boih hanah a thuih o.
So they established a decree to make proclamation throughout all Israel, from Beersheba even to Dan, that they should come to keep the Passover to the LORD, the God of Israel, at Jerusalem, for they had not kept it in great numbers in the way it is written.
6 Siangpahrang angmah ih angraengnawk mah paek o ih ca to ca phawkungnawk mah lak o moe, lokpaek ih baktih toengah Israel prae hoi Judah prae boih ah thak o; capat thungah Israel kaminawk, Abraham, Isak hoi Israel acaengnawk ih Angraeng Sithaw khaeah amlaem o let ah; to tih nahaeloe Anih doeh Assyria siangpahrang ban thung hoiah kaloih, anghmat kami, nangcae khaeah, amlaem let tih.
So the couriers went with the letters from the king and his princes throughout all Israel and Judah, according to the commandment of the king, saying, “You children of Israel, turn again to the LORD, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, that he may return to the remnant of you that have escaped out of the hand of the kings of Assyria.
7 Nam panawk ih Angraeng Sithaw hmaa ah zaehaih kasah, nam panawk hoi nam nawkamyanawk baktiah om o hmah; na hnuk o ih baktih toengah, to tiah zaehaih kasah nihcae to Angraeng mah kanung parai ah danpaek boeh.
Don’t be like your fathers and like your brothers, who trespassed against the LORD, the God of their fathers, so that he gave them up to desolation, as you see.
8 Nam panawk baktiah palungthah o sak hmah, nangmacae hoi nangmacae Angraeng khaeah anghnai oh, anih mah dungzan ah ciimcaisak ih, hmuenciim ah angzo oh; kanung parai nangcae khae palungphuihaih dipsak hanah, na Angraeng Sithaw ih tok to sah oh.
Now don’t be stiff-necked, as your fathers were, but yield yourselves to the LORD, and enter into his sanctuary, which he has sanctified forever, and serve the LORD your God, that his fierce anger may turn away from you.
9 Angraeng khaeah nam laem o let nahaeloe, misong naeh kaminawk mah nam nawkamyanawk hoi na caanawk to tahmenhaih tawn o ueloe, hae prae ah nam laem o let tih; anih khaeah nam laem o let nahaeloe, nangcae ih Angraeng Sithaw loe amlunghaih hoi tahmenhaih hoiah koi pongah, nangcae han mikhmai hawk ving mak ai, tiah ca tarik pae.
For if you turn again to the LORD, your brothers and your children will find compassion with those who led them captive, and will come again into this land, because the LORD your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you if you return to him.”
10 Ca phawkungnawk loe Ephraim, Manasseh hoi Zebulun prae thung boih ah, vangpui maeto hoi maeto ah ca to thak o; toe kaminawk mah nihcae to kasae thuih o moe, pahnui o thuih.
So the couriers passed from city to city through the country of Ephraim and Manasseh, even to Zebulun, but people ridiculed them and mocked them.
11 Toe Asher, Manasseh hoi Zebulun ih kaminawk loe poek pahnaem o moe, Jerusalem ah caeh o.
Nevertheless some men of Asher, Manasseh, and Zebulun humbled themselves and came to Jerusalem.
12 Judah prae thung ih kaminawk loe Angraeng ih lok baktih toengah, Angraeng ban thacakhaih nihcae nuiah oh pongah, siangpahrang hoi angraengnawk mah sak atim ih hmuen to poekhaih maeto hoiah sak koehhaih palungthin to a tawnh o.
Also the hand of God came on Judah to give them one heart, to do the commandment of the king and of the princes by the LORD’s word.
13 Khrah hnetto haih naah loe, taeh thuh ai ih takaw caakhaih poih sak hanah, paroeai kaminawk loe Jerusalem ah amkhueng o moe, kalen parai poih to a sak o.
Many people assembled at Jerusalem to keep the feast of unleavened bread in the second month, a very great assembly.
14 Nihcae loe angthawk o moe, Jerusalem vangpui ih acaeng kalah kaminawk mah sak o ih hmaicamnawk hoi hmuihoih thlaekhaih hmaicamnawk to lak o pacoengah, Kidron vacong thungah vah o king.
They arose and took away the altars that were in Jerusalem, and they took away all the altars for incense and threw them into the brook Kidron.
15 Khrah hnetto haih ni hatlai palito naah, misong loihhaih poih sakhaih moi to boh o; qaima hoi Levi acaengnawk loe azathaih tongh o pongah, angmacae hoi angmacae to ciimcai ah oh o moe, Angraeng ih im ah hmai angbawnhaih hmuen to sinh o.
Then they killed the Passover on the fourteenth day of the second month. The priests and the Levites were ashamed, and sanctified themselves, and brought burnt offerings into the LORD’s house.
16 Sithaw kami Mosi mah paek ih kaalok baktih toengah, angmacae angdoethaih ahmuen ah angdoet o moe, Levi acaengnawk mah paek ih moithii to qaimanawk mah hmaicam ah haeh o.
They stood in their place after their order, according to the Torah of Moses the man of God. The priests sprinkled the blood which they received of the hand of the Levites.
17 To ah amkhueng kaminawk thungah thoemto kaminawk loe ciimcai o ai pongah, ciimcai ai kaminawk boih Angraeng han ciimcai hanah, Levi acaengnawk mah misong loihhaih poihkung ah tuucaa to boh pae o.
For there were many in the assembly who had not sanctified themselves; therefore the Levites were in charge of killing the Passovers for everyone who was not clean, to sanctify them to the LORD.
18 Ephraim, Manasseh, Issakar, Zebulun prae thung hoiah angzo kaminawk loe angmacae hoi angmacae ciimcai ah om o ai; cabu thungah tarik ih lok to pazui ai ah, moi to a caak o. Hezekiah mah, Kahoih Angraeng mah tahmen nasoe,
For a multitude of the people, even many of Ephraim, Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, yet they ate the Passover other than the way it is written. For Hezekiah had prayed for them, saying, “May the good LORD pardon everyone
19 hmuenciim ciimcaihaih daan baktiah, anih loe ciimcai ai cadoeh, ampanawk ih Angraeng Sithaw pakrong koeh kami ih zaehaih to tahmen nasoe, tiah lawkthuih pae.
who sets his heart to seek God, the LORD, the God of his fathers, even if they aren’t clean according to the purification of the sanctuary.”
20 Hezekiah lawkthuihaih to Angraeng mah tahngaih pae moe, kaminawk to ngantuisak.
The LORD listened to Hezekiah, and healed the people.
21 Jerusalem ah kaom Israel caanawk loe taeh thuh ai ih takaw caakhaih poih to ni sarihto thung anghoehaih hoiah sak o; Levi acaengnawk hoi qaimanawk loe ni thokkruek atuenpawknawk hoiah Angraeng khaeah Angmah saphawhaih laa to sak o.
The children of Israel who were present at Jerusalem kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with great gladness. The Levites and the priests praised the LORD day by day, singing with loud instruments to the LORD.
22 Angraeng ih lok patukkung Levi acaengnawk boih khaeah, Hezekiah mah thapaekhaih lok to thuih pae; ni sarihto thung poihsak o moe, a caak o; angdaehhaih hmuen to tathlangh o moe, angmacae ampanawk ih Angraeng Sithaw hmaa ah zaehaih to taphong o.
Hezekiah spoke encouragingly to all the Levites who had good understanding in the service of the LORD. So they ate throughout the feast for the seven days, offering sacrifices of peace offerings and making confession to the LORD, the God of their fathers.
23 Poihkung ah angzo kaminawk mah ni sarihto thung poihsak patomh han thuih o pongah, anghoehaih hoiah ni sarihto thung poih to sak patomh o let.
The whole assembly took counsel to keep another seven days, and they kept another seven days with gladness.
24 Judah siangpahrang Hezekiah mah rangpui hanah maitaw tae sangto, tuucaa sang sarihto paek; angraengnawk mah doeh maitaw tae sangto hoi tuucaa sang hato paek o toeng; paroeai pop qaimanawk doeh angmacae hoi angmacae to ciimcai ah oh o.
For Hezekiah king of Judah gave to the assembly for offerings one thousand bulls and seven thousand sheep; and the princes gave to the assembly a thousand bulls and ten thousand sheep; and a great number of priests sanctified themselves.
25 Qaima hoi Levi acaengnawk, Judah prae thung hoiah angzo kaminawk boih, Israel prae thung hoiah angzo kaminawk boih, Israel prae thung hoiah angzo angvinnawk boih hoi Judah prae ah kaom kaminawk boih loe anghoehaih hoiah oh o.
All the assembly of Judah, with the priests and the Levites, and all the assembly who came out of Israel, and the foreigners who came out of Eretz-Israel and who lived in Judah, rejoiced.
26 To tiah Jerusalem vangpui ah kalen parai anghoehaih to oh; Israel siangpahrang David capa Solomon dung pacoeng hoi to tiah kalen parai anghoehaih to Jerusalem ah om ai boeh.
So there was great joy in Jerusalem; for since the time of Solomon the son of David king of Israel there was nothing like this in Jerusalem.
27 Qaima hoi Levi acaengnawk loe angdoet o moe, kaminawk han tahamhoihaih paek o; nihcae lawkthuihaih lok loe, a ohhaih hmuenciim, van khoek to phak, nihcae lawkthuihaih lok to Angraeng mah tahngaih pae.
Then the Levitical priests arose and blessed the people. Their voice was heard, and their prayer came up to his holy habitation, even to heaven.
