1 To pacoengah Solomon mah ampa David khaeah, Angraeng amtueng paehaih ahmuen, Jerusalem ih Moriah mae nuiah, Angraeng ih im to sak amtong; Jebus kami Ornan cang atithaih ahmuen ah ni David mah im sak hanah paroep.
And Solomon began to build the house of Jehovah at Jerusalem on mount Moriah, where he appeared to David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshing-floor of Ornan the Jebusite.
2 Solomon siangpahrang ah ohhaih saning palito haih, khrah hnet, ni hnetto naah im to sak amtong.
And he began to build on the second of the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.
3 Sithaw im sak hanah Solomon khaeah thuih pae ih lok baktih toengah, kasawk dong quitarukto oh moe, dong pumphaeto kawk.
And this was Solomon's foundation for the construction of the house of God. The length by cubits after the first measure was sixty cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.
4 Im akunhaih ahma loe, im kawkhaih hoiah anghmong; dong pumphaeto sawk moe, dong cumvai, pumphaeto sang; athung bang loe kaciim suitui hoiah pazut.
And the porch which was in front was twenty cubits in length, in front of the house broadways, and the height was a hundred and twenty; and he overlaid it within with pure gold.

And the greater house he boarded with cypress-wood, which he overlaid with fine gold, and set on it palm-trees and chains.

And he overlaid the house with precious stones for beauty; and the gold was gold of Parvaim.
7 Im palaengnawk, tungnawk, tapangnawk, thoknawk to suitui hoiah pazut moe, tapang nuiah cherubim krang to a soi.
And he covered the house, the beams, the threshold, and its walls, and its doors with gold, and engraved cherubim on the walls.
8 Kaciim Koek ahmuen loe im kawkhaih hoi kanghmong ah a sak; dong pumphaeto sawk moe, dong pumphaeto kawk; to ahmuen to suitui kaciim talent cumvai tarukto hoiah a pazut.
And he made the house of the most holy place, the length of which was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and its breadth twenty cubits; and he covered it with fine gold, amounting to six hundred talents.
9 Sumdik kazit loe sui shekel quipangato oh. Ranuih imkhaannawk doeh sui hoiah pazut.
And the weight of the nails was fifty shekels of gold. And he covered the upper chambers with gold.
10 Kaciim koek imthung ah cherubim hnetto ih krang to a sak moe, suitui hoiah pazut.
And in the house of the most holy place he made two cherubim of image work, and they overlaid them with gold.
11 Cherubimnawk ih pakhraeh loe dong pumphaeto sawk; pakhraeh maeto loe dong pangato sawk moe, im tapang to phak; kalah maeto ih pakhraeh doeh dong pangato sawk moe, kalah cherub maeto ih pakhraeh to phak.
And the wings of the cherubim were twenty cubits long: one wing of five cubits touched the wall of the house; and the other wing of five cubits touched the wing of the other cherub.
12 To baktih toengah kalah cherub maeto ih pakhraeh doeh dong pangato sawk moe, im tapang to phak; kalah pakhraeh maeto doeh dong pangato sawk moe, kalah cherub ih pakhraeh hoiah angbet.
And the wing of the other cherub of five cubits touched the wall of the house; and the other wing was five cubits joining the wing of the other cherub.
13 Hae cherubimnawk loe athung bangah anghae o moe, angmacae khok hoiah angdoet o, pakhraeh payangh o naah, dong pumphaeto sawk.
The wings of these cherubim spread forth were twenty cubits; and they stood on their feet, and their faces were toward the house.
14 Kahni kam-iing, kahni kamling hup, kahni kathim hoi puu ngan kahninawk to a sak moe, a nuiah cherubim ih krangnawk to takaek.
And he made the veil of blue, and purple, and crimson, and byssus, and made cherubim upon it.
15 Dong quithum, pangato kasawk, tung hnetto doeh a sak moe, im hma ah a tlingh; tung nui khukhaih loe dong pangato sawk.
And before the house he made two pillars thirty-five cubits long; and the capital that was on the top of each of them was five cubits.
16 Thuih ih lok baktih toengah, qui to zet moe, tung nuiah a suek; Pomegranat thaih cumvaito sak moe, qui pongah a bangh.
And he made chains [as] in the oracle, and he put them on the top of the pillars; and he made a hundred pomegranates, and put them on the chains.
17 Im hma ah tungnawk to banqoi bantang a tlingh; bantang bang ih tung to Jachin, tiah ahmin sak moe, banqoi bang ih tung to Boaz, tiah ahmin sak.
And he set up the pillars in front of the temple, one on the right hand and the other on the left; and he called the name of that on the right Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.
