< 2 Dungkrhoekhaih 19 >
1 Judah siangpahrang Jehosaphat loe kamongah angmah im Jerusalem ah amlaem let.
And Jehoshaphat the king of Judah returned to his house in peace to Jerusalem.
2 Tahmaa Jehu Hanani capa loe anih tongh hanah caeh, siangpahrang Jehosaphat khaeah, Sithaw panoek ai kami to na bomh moe, Angraeng hnuma kami to na palung han maw? Hae hmuen pongah, Angraeng palungphuihaih na nuiah oh.
And Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to king Jehoshaphat, Should you help the ungodly, and love them that hate the LORD? therefore is wrath on you from before the LORD.
3 Toe Asherah thingnawk to prae thung hoiah na vah boih moe, na palungthin hoiah Angraeng to na pakrong, to loe kahoih na sak ih hmuen ah oh, tiah a naa.
Nevertheless there are good things found in you, in that you have taken away the groves out of the land, and have prepared your heart to seek God.
4 Jehosaphat loe Jerusalem vangpui ah oh; kaminawk thung hoiah Beersheba hoi Ephraim mae karoek to a caeh moe, kaminawk to ampanawk ih Angraeng Sithaw khaeah amlaemsak let.
And Jehoshaphat dwelled at Jerusalem: and he went out again through the people from Beersheba to mount Ephraim, and brought them back to the LORD God of their fathers.
5 Prae thung boih hoi sipae kaom Judah vangpuinawk boih ah, lokcaekkungnawk to a suek.
And he set judges in the land throughout all the fenced cities of Judah, city by city,
6 Lokcaekkungnawk khaeah, Na sak o ih hmuen pongah acoe oh; nangcae loe kami han lok na caek o ai, Angraeng han ih ni lok na caek o, lok na caek o naah, Anih loe nangcae khaeah oh.
And said to the judges, Take heed what you do: for you judge not for man, but for the LORD, who is with you in the judgment.
7 Sithaw zithaih nangcae nuiah om nasoe; aicae Angraeng Sithaw loe sakpazaehaih om ai; mikhmai khethaih doeh tawn ai moe, tamquta hoi tangqum lakhaih doeh tawn ai pongah, acoehaih hoiah lokcaek oh, tiah a naa.
Why now let the fear of the LORD be on you; take heed and do it: for there is no iniquity with the LORD our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of gifts.
8 Jehosaphat loe Jerusalem kaminawk maeto hoi maeto lokpung naah raemh hanah, Angraeng ih daan patukkung, Levi acaeng, qaima hoi Israel acaeng zaehoikung kacoehtanawk to Jerusalem vangpui ah a suek; nihcae loe Jerusalem vangpui ah oh o.
Moreover in Jerusalem did Jehoshaphat set of the Levites, and of the priests, and of the chief of the fathers of Israel, for the judgment of the LORD, and for controversies, when they returned to Jerusalem.
9 Nihcae khaeah, Angraeng zithaih hoi oep kaom ah toksak moe, poekhaih palungthin boih hoiah toksak hanah lok a paek.
And he charged them, saying, Thus shall you do in the fear of the LORD, faithfully, and with a perfect heart.
10 Vangpui thung kaom nam nawkamyanawk khae hoi angzo, kami athii palonghaih, lokpaekhaih hoi patukhaih, khokhanhaih hoi lokcaekhaih pongah, Angraeng koeh ai ih hmuen sak pazae o moeng han ai ah, acoehaih lok to thui pae oh, to tih ai nahaeloe nangcae hoi nam nawkamyanawk nuiah palungphuihaih to pha moeng tih. Hae hmuen hae na sak o nahaeloe, zaehaih na loih o tih.
And what cause soever shall come to you of your brothers that dwell in your cities, between blood and blood, between law and commandment, statutes and judgments, you shall even warn them that they trespass not against the LORD, and so wrath come on you, and on your brothers: this do, and you shall not trespass.
11 Khenah, Angraeng hoi kasaeng hmuen pongah qaima Amariah loe nangcae zaehoikung ah om tih; Judah acaeng zaehoikung, Ishmael capa Zebadiah loe siangpahrang hoi kasaeng hmuen pongah nangcae ukkung ah om tih; Levi acaengnawk loe nangcae hmaa ah toksah kami ah om o tih; misahoihaih hoiah toksah oh; Angraeng loe hmuen kahoih sah kaminawk hoi nawnto om tih, tiah a naa.
And, behold, Amariah the chief priest is over you in all matters of the LORD; and Zebadiah the son of Ishmael, the ruler of the house of Judah, for all the king’s matters: also the Levites shall be officers before you. Deal courageously, and the LORD shall be with the good.
