< 1 Johan 5 >
1 Jesu loe Kri ni, tiah tang kami loe, Sithaw mah tapen ih kami ah oh: Anih palung kami loe Anih mah sak ih a capa doeh palung.
Everyone who is believing that Jesus is the Christ of God has been born, and everyone who is loving the [One] having begotten [Him] loves also the [one] begotten from Him.
2 Aicae mah Sithaw palung naah, a paek ih lok to tahngaih o: hae tiah sakhaih rang hoiah ni Sithaw ih caanawk a palung o, tito amtueng.
By this we know that we love the children of God, when God we may love and the commandments of Him (we may perform. *N(k)O*)
3 Anih mah paek ih lok tahgaihaih loe, Sithaw amlunghaih ah oh: a paek ih loknawk loe hmuen kazit ah om ai.
This for is the love of God, that the commandments of Him we may keep; and the commandments of Him burdensome not are.
4 Sithaw mah tapen ih kami mah loe long to pazawk: aicae tanghaih mah long to pazawk boeh.
For everyone who born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory which having overcome the world: the faith of us.
5 Jesu loe Sithaw Capa ni, tiah tang kami khue mah na ai maw long to pazawk?
who (now *no*) is the [one] overcoming the world only except the [one] believing that Jesus is the Son of God?
6 Jesu loe tui hoi athii hoiah ni angzoh; tui hoi khue ai, tui hoi athii hoiah ni angzoh. Muithla loe loktang ah oh pongah, Muithla loe hnukung ah oh.
This is the [One] having come through water and blood, Jesus (*k*) Christ; not by water only, but by water and (by *no*) blood; And the Spirit is the [One] testifying, because the Spirit is the truth;
7 Van ah hnukkung thumto oh; to hnukungnawk loe Ampa, Lok hoi Kacai Muithla cae hae ni: hae thumto loe maeto ah oh o.
For three there are those bearing testimony: (in the heaven the Father the Word and the Holy Spirit and these three one are *K*)
8 Long ah hnukung thumto oh; to hnukungnawk loe muithla, tui hoi athii cae hae ni: hae thumtonawk loe maeto ah oh o.
(and three are those bearing testimony in the earth: *K*) the Spirit and the water and the blood — and these three in one are.
9 Hnukung ah kaom kami mah taphong ih lok mataeng doeh a tang o nahaeloe, Sithaw mah a Capa kawng to taphong boeh pongah, kalen kue hnukung ah kaom Sithaw mah taphong ih lok to a tang o aep han oh.
If the testimony of men we receive, the testimony of God greater is, For this is the testimony of God (that *N(k)O*) He has testified concerning the Son of Him.
10 Sithaw Capa tang kami loe hae tiah taphong ih lok loe tangtang ni, tiah panoekhaih palung to a tawnh: Sithaw tang ai kami loe, Sithaw mah a Capa to paek, tiah thuih ih lok to tang ai pongah, Anih to lok amlai kami ah a ohsak.
The [one] believing in the Son of God has the testimony in (himself; *NK(o)*) The [one] not believing in God a liar has made Him, because not he has believed in the testimony that has testified God concerning the Son Him.
11 Sithaw mah aicae hanah dungzan hinghaih to paek boeh, to hinghaih loe a Capa ah oh, tiah taphong ih hae lok loe Sithaw ih lok ah oh. (aiōnios )
And this is the testimony that life eternal has given to us God; and this the life in the Son of Him is. (aiōnios )
12 Capa tawn kami loe hinghaih to tawnh; Sithaw Capa tawn ai kami loe hinghaih to tawn ai.
The [one] having the Son has life; the [one] not having the Son of God life not has.
13 Dungzan hinghaih ka tawnh, tiah na panoek o moe, Sithaw Capa ih ahmin na tang o thai hanah, Sithaw Capa ih ahmin tang nangcae khaeah hae hmuennawk kawng hae kang tarik o; (aiōnios )
These things have I written to you (to those believing into the name of the Son of God *K*) so that you may know that life you have eternal (and so that *K*) (to those *no*) (believing *N(k)O*) in the name of the Son of God. (aiōnios )
14 a koehhaih baktiah kawbaktih hmuen doeh a hnik o nahaeloe, anih mah na tahngai pae tih, hae loe aicae mah Sithaw ah a tawnh o ih oephaih ah oh.
And this is the confidence that we have toward Him, that if anything we shall ask according to the will of Him He hears us;
15 Lawkthuihaih tahngaih pae, tiah a panoek o nahaeloe, anih khaeah a hnik o ih hmuennawk boih loe hnuk boeh, tiah poek oh.
And if we know that He hears us whatever (maybe *N(k)O*) we shall ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked (from *N(k)O*) Him.
16 Mi kawbaktih doeh angmah ih amnawk mah duek han khoek to kaom ai sak ih zaehaih to hnu nahaeloe, duek han khoek to zaehaih kasah ai kaminawk khaeah Sithaw mah hinghaih paek thai hanah, anih mah lawkthuih pae han oh. Kadueh sakthaih zaehaih to oh: to baktih zaehaih thung hoi loih thai hanah lawkthui pae oh, tiah ka thui ai.
If anyone shall see the brother of him sinning a sin not unto death, he will ask and He will give to him life, to those sinning not unto death. There is a sin unto death; not concerning that [one] do I say that he may implore.
17 Katoeng ai hmuennawk boih loe zaehaih ah oh: duek han khoek to kaom ai zaehaih doeh oh.
All unrighteousness sin is, and there is sin not unto death.
18 Mi kawbaktih doeh Sithaw mah tapen ih kami loe zaehaih sah ai; Sithaw mah tapen ih kami loe angmah hoi angmah kahoih ah ang khetzawn pongah, kahoih ai kaminawk mah raihaih paek o thai ai.
We know that everyone who born of God not continues to sin; but the [One] having been begotten of God protects (himself, *NK(o)*) and the evil [one] not does touch him.
19 Aicae loe Sithaw caa ah a oh o, toe long pum loe kahoih ai taqawk ih ban thungah ni oh, tito a panoek o.
We know that of God we are and the world whole in the evil [one] lies.
20 Sithaw Capa loe loktang Anih to a panoek o thai hanah angzoh. Aicae loe a capa Jesu Kri ah a oh o pongah, loktang Anih ah om kami ah ni a oh o. Anih loe dungzan hinghaih ah oh moe, loktang Sithaw ah oh. (aiōnios )
We know now that the Son of God is come and has given us understanding so that (we may know *NK(o)*) Him who [is] true, and we are in Him who [is] true, in the Son of Him Jesus Christ. He is the true God and (*k*) life eternal. (aiōnios )
21 Palung ih nawktanawk, krang bokhaih to ayae oh. Amen.
Little children, do keep (yourselves *N(k)O*) from idols (Amen. *KO*)
