1 Korin 6

1 Nangcae salakah maeto hoi maeto lok angaekhaih oh naah, kaciim kaminawk khaeah caeh ai ah, toenghaih hoi lokcaek ai kaminawk khaeah maw na caeh o lat?

DARE any of you, having a suit with his brother, to litigate before the evil, and not before the saints?

2 Long loe kaciim kaminawk mah ni lokcaek tih, tiah kaom lok to na panoek o ai maw? Long to lok na caek o nahaeloe, kathoeng koek hmuen doeh lok na caek o mak ai maw?

Or know you not that the saints shall judge the world? And if the world by you is judged, are you not worthy to judge small matters?

3 Van kaminawk mataeng doeh aicae mah lokcaek tih, tito na panoek o ai maw? To tiah nahaeloe hae long nui ih hmuennawk nuiah cae loe kawkruk maw lok a caek o aep tih?

Know you not that you are to judge angels? How much more those (matters) which are of this world?

4 To tiah oh to mah, tipongah hae long nui ih hmuennawk lokcaek hanah, kricaabu mah khingya paek ai ih lokcaekkungnawk khaeah lok na caek o sak loe?

But if you have matters to be judged regarding the world, those who are little-esteemed in the church make you to sit in judgment.

5 Na zat o thai hanah ni hae lok hae ka thuih. Nangcae salakah palungha kami maeto doeh om ai maw? Nawkamya maeto hoi maeto salakah lokcaek thaih kami om ai maw, maeto mataeng doeh om ai maw?

But to your reproach am I to say to you, So there is not among you even one wise man, who is able to adjust between a brother and his brother?

6 Toe nangcae loe katang ai kaminawk hma ah angkhing hanah, nawkamya maeto hoi maeto lokcaekhaih im ah na caeh o!

But a brother with his brother litigates, and, moreover, before those who are unbelievers!

7 Maeto hoi maeto nang khing o pongah, zaehaih tawn kami ah ni na oh o boeh. Tayacoi pongah loe tikhoe ka sakpazae moeng boeh, tiah thuih moe, ang ling o ih baktih toengah na pauep halat ai loe?

Now, therefore, you make yourselves guilty while you have litigation one with another. For why do you not bear injury? and why do you not suffer fraud?

8 Nangcae loe to tiah na om o ai, maeto hoi maeto nuiah kahoih ai hmuen to na sak o moe, nawkamyanawk to na ling o!

But you injure, and you defraud, also your brethren!

9 Katoeng ai kaminawk loe Sithaw mah siangpahrang ah uk ih prae to toep o mak ai, tito na panoek o ai maw? Aling thaih koiah om o hmah: nongpa nongpata zaehaih sah kami, krangbok kami, zu sava laep ah nongpa nongpata zaehaih sah kami, nongpa hoi nongpa zaehaih sah kami, to baktih zae sakhaih koeh kami,

Or, know you not that the unjust the kingdom of Aloha cannot inherit? Do not err; neither fornicators, nor the servers of idols, nor adulterers, nor corrupters, nor liers with men, nor the oppressive,

10 kamqunawk, amthlai koeh hmoek kami, mu paquih kami, tangoeng thaih kami, hmuenmae lomh kaminawk loe Sithaw mah siangpahrang ah uk ih prae to toep o thai mak ai.

nor thieves, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor the rapacious, the kingdom of Aloha can inherit.

11 Nangcae thung ih thoemto kaminawk loe to tiah na oh o: toe Angraeng Jesu ih ahmin, aicae Sithaw ih Muithla rang hoiah toenghaih to na hnuk o boeh, nangcae to pasaeh boeh pongah, na ciim o boeh.

And these were some of you but you are washed, and sanctified, and justified in the name of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha, and by the Spirit of our God.

12 Hmuennawk boih sak thaihaih ka tawnh, toe hmuennawk boih sak han hoih ai: hmuennawk boih ka sak thaih, toe kai loe kawbaktih hmuen ih misong ah doeh ka om mak ai.

ALL (food) is lawful to me, but all is not expedient for me. All is lawful to me, but over me no one shall have power.

13 Caaknaek loe zok hanah ni oh, zok doeh caaknaek hanah ni oh: toe Sithaw mah amrosak hmaek tih. Kami ih takpum loe nongpa nongpata zae sakhaih bangah patoh han om ai, Angraeng hanah ni oh; Angraeng doeh takpum hanah ni oh.

Food is for the belly, and the belly for food; but Aloha will abolish them both. But the body was not for fornication, but for our Lord, and our Lord for the body.

14 Sithaw mah a thacakhaih rang hoiah, Angraeng to pathawk boeh, aicae doeh a thacakhaih hoiah pathawk let tih.

And Aloha hath raised up our Lord, and us will raise by his power.

15 Nangcae ih takpum loe Kri ih tanghang ah ni oh, tito na panoek o ai maw? Kri ih tanghang to ka lak moe, tangzat zaw kami ih tanghang ah ka ohsak han maw? Ka omsak mak ai.

Know you not that your bodies are members of the Meshiha? Shall one take a member of the Meshiha to make it a member of a harlot? Never!

16 Tangzat zaw takpum hoi angpeh kami loe, tangzat zaw kami hoi takpum maeto ah ni oh boeh, tito na panoek o ai maw? Anih mah, Hnetto loe takpum maeto ah ni om tih, tiah thuih.

Know you not that whosoever attacheth to a harlot is one body? For it is said, The two shall be one body.

17 Toe Angraeng takpum hoi angpeh kami loe Anih hoi poekhaih palungthin maeto ah ni oh.

But, he who attacheth to our Lord is with him one spirit.

18 Nongpa hoi nongpata zaesakhaih to caeh o taak ah. Kami mah sak ih zaehaih boih loe takpum tasa bangah ni oh; toe nongpa hoi nongpata zae sakhaih loe angmah ih takpum zae haih kami ah ni oh.

Flee from fornication: for every sin which a man committeth is without his body; but he who committeth fornication against his own body sinneth.

19 Nangcae ih takpum loe, nangmacae ih na ai boeh ni, nangcae thungah kaom, Sithaw khae hoi na hnuk o ih, Kacai Muithla ih tempul ah ni oh boeh, tito na panoek o ai maw?

Or, know you not that your body is the temple of the Spirit of Holiness, who dwelleth in you, (even) Him whom you have received from Aloha? And you are not your own,

20 Nangcae loe atho hoi qan ih kami boeh ni: to pongah Sithaw ih hmuen ah kaom, na takpum hoi poekhaih palungthin ah Sithaw lensawkhaih to amtueng o sak ah.

for you are bought with the price; therefore glorify Aloha in your body and in your spirit, which are of Aloha.
