1 Siangpahrang toksah Israel kaminawk loe, acaeng zaehoikungnawk, misatuh kami sangto ukkung hoi cumvaito ukkung misatuh angraengnawk, toksah angraengnawk hoi nawnto, saningto thung khrah kruek tacawt moe, kakun siangpahrang ih toksah hanah tapraek ih kami ah oh o, nihcae loe abu maeto naah kami sing hnet, sang palito oh o.
And [these] are the children of Israel after their number, the chief fathers and captains of thousands and hundreds, and their officers that served the king in every matter of the divisions, which came in and went out month by month throughout the months of the year; in every division were twenty-four thousand.
2 Khrah tangsuek, hmaloe koek zaehoikung loe, Zabdiel capa Jashoebeam; anih ih kami loe sing hnet, sang palito oh.
Over the first division for the first month was Jashobeam the son of Zabdiel; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
3 Anih loe Perez acaeng ah oh moe, hmaloe koek khrah ah kaminawk zaehoikung ah oh.
He was of the children of Pherez, the head of all the captains of the hosts for the first month.
4 Khrah hnetto haih misatuh zaehoikung loe, Ahoh acaeng Dodai; Mikloth loe anih ih kami zaehoikung ah oh; anih ih kami loe sing hnet, sang palito to oh.
And over the division of the second month was Dodai the Ahohite; and in his division was Mikloth ruler; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
5 Khrah thumto haih misatuh zaehoikung angraeng loe, qaima kalen koek, Jehoiada capa Benaiah; anih ih kami loe sing hnet, sang palito oh.
The third captain of the host for the third month was Benaiah (the son of Jehoiada, a principal officer): [he was] head; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
6 Benaiah loe kami quithumto thungah, thacak kami ah oh moe, quithumto zaehoikung ah oh; a capa Amizabad loe kami zaehoikung ah oh.
This Benaiah was a mighty man among the thirty, and above the thirty; and in his division was Ammizabad his son.
7 Khrah palito naah, palito haih misatuh zaehoikung angraeng loe, Joab ih amnawk Asahel; angmah pacoengah loe a capa Zebadiah to oh; anih ih kaminawk loe sing hnet, sang palito oh.
The fourth for the fourth month was Asahel the brother of Joab, and Zebadiah his son after him; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
8 Pangato haih khrah naah, pangato haih misatuh zaehoikung angraeng loe, Izrah acaeng Shamhuth; anih ih kami loe sing hnet, sang palito oh.
The fifth for the fifth month was the captain Shamhuth the Jizrahite; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
9 Khrah tarukto haih naah, tarukto haih misatuh zaehoikung angraeng loe, Teko acaeng Ikkesh capa Ira; anih ih kami loe sing hnet, sang palito oh.
The sixth for the sixth month was Ira the son of Ikkesh the Tekoite; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
10 Khrah sarihto haih naah, sarihto haih misatuh zaehoikung angraeng loe, Ephraim kami, Pelon acaeng Helez; anih ih kami loe sing hnet, sang palito oh.
The seventh for the seventh month was Helez the Pelonite, of the children of Ephraim; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
11 Khrah tazetto haih naah, tazetto haih misatuh zaehoikung angraeng loe Zera acaeng, Hushath kami, Sibbekai; anih ih kami loe sing hnet, sang palito oh.
The eighth for the eighth month was Sibbechai the Hushathite, of the Zarhites; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
12 Khrah takawtto haih naah, takawtto haih misatuh zaehoikung angraeng loe Benjamin acaeng, Anathoth kami Abiezer; anih ih kami loe sing hnet, sang palito oh.
The ninth for the ninth month was Abiezer the Anathothite, of the Benjaminites; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
13 Khrah hato haih naah, hato haih misatuh zaehoikung angraeng loe Zerah acaeng, Netophath kami Maharai; anih ih kami loe sing hnet, sang palito oh.
The tenth for the tenth month was Maharai the Netophathite, of the Zarhites; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
14 Khrah hatlaito haih naah, hatlaito haih misatuh zaehoikung angraeng loe Ephraim acaeng, Pirathon kami Benaiah; anih ih kami loe sing hnet, sang palito oh.
The eleventh for the eleventh month was Benaiah the Pirathonite, of the children of Ephraim; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
15 Khrah hatlaihnetto haih naah, hatlaihnetto haih misatuh zaehoikung angraeng loe, Othniel acaeng, Netophath kami, Heldai; anih ih kami loe sing hnet, sang palito oh.
The twelfth for the twelfth month was Heldai the Netophathite, of Othniel; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
16 Israel acaeng nuiah angraeng ah kaom kaminawk loe Reuben acaeng thungah, Zikri capa Eliezer; Simeon acaeng thungah Maakah capa Shephatiah,
And over the tribes of Israel were: for the Reubenites Eliezer the son of Zichri was the prince; for the Simeonites, Shephatiah the son of Maachah;
17 Levi acaeng thungah Kemuel capa Hashabiah; Aaron acaeng thungah Zadok,
for the Levites, Hashabiah the son of Kemuel; for Aaron, Zadok;
18 Judah acaeng thungah David amnawk Elihu; Issakar acaeng thungah Mikael capa Orim,
for Judah, Elihu of the brethren of David; for Issachar, Omri the son of Michael;
19 Zebulun acaeng thungah Obadiah capa Ishmaiah; Naphtali acaeng thungah Azriel capa Jerimoth,
for Zebulun, Jishmaiah the son of Obadiah; for Naphtali, Jerimoth the son of Azriel;
20 Ephraim acaeng thungah Azaziah capa Hoshea; thoemto Manasseh acaeng thungah Pedaiah capa Joel,
for the children of Ephraim, Hosea the son of Azaziah; for the half tribe of Manasseh, Joel the son of Pedaiah;
21 Gilead ah kaom thoemto Manasseh acaeng thungah Zekariah capa Iddo; Benjamin acaeng thungah Abner capa Jaasiel.
for the half [tribe] of Manasseh in Gilead, Jiddo the son of Zechariah; for Benjamin, Jaasiel the son of Abner;
22 Dan acaeng thungah Jehoram capa Azarel. Hae kaminawk loe Israel acaeng thungah angraeng ah oh o.
for Dan, Azareel the son of Jeroham. These were the princes of the tribes of Israel.
23 Angraeng mah Israel kaminawk loe van ih cakaehnawk zetto pop tih, tiah thuih pongah, David mah saning pumphaeto hoi atlim bang kaminawk boih loe kroek ai.
And David took not their number from twenty years old and under; for Jehovah had said he would increase Israel as the stars of heaven.
24 Zeruiah capa Joab mah milu to kroek amtong; toe milu kroek naah Israel nuiah palungphuihaih phak pongah, milu kroek pacoeng thai ai; kroek pacoeng ih milu doeh David siangpahrang mah sak ih pakuemhaih cabu thungah khrum o ai.
Joab the son of Zeruiah began to number, but he did not finish; and there fell wrath for it upon Israel; and the number was not put in the account of the chronicles of king David.
25 Adiel capa Azmaveth loe siangpahrang im hmuenmae toepkung ah oh; Uzziah capa Jonathan loe laikok, vangpui, vangta hoi misatoephaih ahmuen ih hmuenmae patunghaih ahmuen khenzawnkung ah oh;
And over the king's treasures was Azmaveth the son of Adiel; and over the storehouses in the country, in the cities, and in the villages, and in the towers was Jonathan the son of Uzziah.
26 Kelub capa Ezri loe lawk thung ih toksah kaminawk ukkung ah oh;
And over them that worked in the field for tillage of the ground was Ezri the son of Chelub.
27 Ramath acaeng Shimei loe misur takha khenzawnkung ah oh; Shipmi kami Zabdi loe misur takha hoi muroih thungah suek ih misurthaih pasawhhaih khenzawnkung ah oh.
And over the vineyards was Shimei the Ramathite; and over what was in the vineyards of stores of wine was Zabdi the Shiphmite:
28 Geder acaeng Baal-Hanan loe, azawn ah kaom olive thingnawk hoi thaibaa thingnawk khenzawnkung ah oh; Joash loe olive situi pazetkung ah oh.
and over the olive-trees and the sycamore-trees that were in the lowland was Baal-hanan the Gederite; and over the cellars of oil was Joash.
29 Sharon acaeng Shitrai loe Sharon ah kaom pacah ih moinawk khenzawnkung ah oh moe, Adlai capa Shaphat loe azawn ah kaom pacah ih moinawk khenzawnkung ah oh.
And over the herds that fed in Sharon was Shitrai the Sharonite; and over the herds in the valleys was Shaphat the son of Adlai.
30 Ishmael acaeng Obil loe kaengkuu hrangnawk khenzawnkung ah oh; Meronoth acaeng Jehdeiah loe laa hrangnawk khenzawnkung ah oh.
And over the camels was Obil the Ishmaelite; and over the asses was Jehdiah the Meronothite.
31 Hagar acaeng Jaziz loe tuunawk khenzawnkung ah oh. Hae kaminawk boih loe David siangpahrang ih hmuenmae khenzawnkung ah oh o.
And over the flocks was Jaziz the Hagarite. All these were comptrollers of the substance which was king David's.
32 David ih ampa kanawk Jonathan loe khopoek thaih, palungha ca tarikkung ah oh; Hakmoni capa Jehiel loe siangpahrang ih capanawk khenzawnkung ah oh.
And Jonathan, David's uncle, was counsellor, a wise man, and a scribe; and Jehiel the son of Hachmoni was with the king's sons;
33 Ahithophel loe siangpahrang han poekhaih kahoih paekkung ah oh moe, Arka acaeng Hushai loe siangpahrang ampui ah oh.
and Ahithophel was the king's counsellor; and Hushai the Archite was the king's friend;
34 Ahithophel paoengah Benaiah capa Jehoiada hoi Abiathar to oh hoi; Joab loe siangpahrang ih misatuh kaminawk ukkung kalen koek angraeng ah oh.
and after Ahithophel was Jehoiada the son of Benaiah, and Abiathar; and Joab was captain of the king's army.
