1 Acun käna khankhawngsä akce mat khankhaw üngka naw kyum law se ka hmuh. Acun naw khyaihbahnak aktäa ta lü a hlüngtainak naw khawmdek ksü se vai bäiki.
After these things, I saw another angel coming down out of the sky, having great authority. The earth was illuminated with his glory.
2 Acunüng angsang yea, “Babalung mlühnu pyüpyeh päng ve, pyüpyeh päng ve. Khawyai hea awmnak la mtüihkhehkia ngmüimkhya he naküta khui, mcimpyühnak mjüküm la mtüihei phyakia kha kse hea ngceinaka khuia kya päng ve.
He cried with a mighty voice, saying, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, and she has become a habitation of demons, a prison of every unclean spirit, and a prison of every unclean and hated bird!
3 “A hüipawmnaka phäha mlungsonaka capyittui cun khyangmjü he naküt naw aw päng ve u. Khawmdek sangpuxang he naw a hüipawmnak üng mkhyekatpüi ve u. Khawmdek khawhthem suijapki he naw ania am düt khawhkia hlimtuinak bawimang na ve u,” tia ngpyangki.
For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her sexual immorality, the kings of the earth committed sexual immorality with her, and the merchants of the earth grew rich from the abundance of her luxury.”
4 Acunüng khankhaw üngka kthai akce naw, “Ka khyang he aw, a katnak üng am nami bawibainak hnga vaia la a khuikhanak üng am nami khuikhanak hnga vaia, a vei üngka naw cen law u.
I heard another voice from heaven, saying, “Come out of her, my people, that you have no participation in her sins, and that you do not receive of her plagues,
5 “A katnak he khankhaw däa pha lü ngbum ve, Pamhnam naw am dawki a bilawh he jah sümki.
for her sins have reached to the sky, and God has remembered her iniquities.
6 “A ning jah awmih püi kunga kba awpüi be u lü, A bilawha kba anghngiha thung u. A ning jah kbe peta kbe üng a hama anghngiha kbe pe be ua.
Return to her just as she returned, and repay her double as she did, and according to her works. In the cup which she mixed, mix to her double.
7 “Amät mhlünmtai kyu lü hüipawmnak üng a hlimtuia mäiha, khuikhanak la mlungnatnak pe u. A mlung k’uma ‘Sangpuxangnua ka ngawki! hmeinua am kya nawng, mlungnatnak am ka yah khai,’ tikia kyase.
However much she glorified herself and grew wanton, so much give her of torment and mourning. For she says in her heart, ‘I sit a queen, and am no widow, and will in no way see mourning.’
8 “Acunakyase mhmüp mat mat üng khuikhanak he, natnak hlikhaü, mbawikyahnak la khawtuia setnak he naw kpha law khai. A pumsa pi mei üng mkhiha kya khai. A ngthumkhyakia Bawipa Pamhnam cun ahmäi khyaihkia kyaki ni.
Therefore in one day her plagues will come: death, mourning, and famine; and she will be utterly burned with fire, for the Lord God who has judged her is strong.
9 “Am dawkia katnak ani am atänga bilo u lü hüipawmnak üng hlimtuikia khawmdek sangpuxang he cun ani uikia mei khu hmu u lü kyap law khai he.
The kings of the earth who committed sexual immorality and lived wantonly with her will weep and wail over her, when they look at the smoke of her burning,
10 A khuikhanak üng ami khuikha hnga vai kyüh u lü a thuknak üngka naw, ‘Babalung mlühnu na jo se ve! na jo se ve! Naji matca üng na khana ngthumkhyanak pha law ve,’ ti u lü mbawikyap law khai he.
standing far away for the fear of her torment, saying, ‘Woe, woe, the great city, Babylon, the strong city! For your judgment has come in one hour.’
11 “Khawmdek khawhthem suijapki he pi u naw ami khawhthem am jah kheih se, acunkba mbawikyap law hnga khai he.
The merchants of the earth weep and mourn over her, for no one buys their merchandise any more:
12 “Ami khawhthem he cun xüi he, ngui he, lung phuküi he, vatha he, mvajih he, jihsen he, jiktah he, kphyajih he, thing ng'ui he, mvüi ha am pyana khawhthem he, thing phuküi he, nghngaw he, mthi he la mvuilung kbawk am pyana kbe he;
merchandise of gold, silver, precious stones, pearls, fine linen, purple, silk, scarlet, all expensive wood, every vessel of ivory, every vessel made of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble;
13 thingn’ui hawk, ng'uinghnam he, mei üng mkhia ng'uinghnam he, situi ng'ui he, mura he, capyittui he, olip ksitui he, khai he, cang he, sepat he, to he, ngse he, nghle he, m'ya he la khyanga xünnakea kyaki.
and cinnamon, incense, perfume, frankincense, wine, olive oil, fine flour, wheat, cattle, sheep, horses, chariots, and people’s bodies and souls.
14 “Akdaw na mlunga vanei khawi naw ning cehta bäih ve, bawimangnak la ngtoki naw ning cehta päng ve; jah hmuh be vaia am kya ti ve u.
The fruits which your soul lusted after have been lost to you. All things that were dainty and sumptuous have perished from you, and you will find them no more at all.
15 “Acuna mlüh üng jawituknak pawh u lü bawimang lawkia ngui ksuiki he cun ania khameia khuikhanak ami kyüha phäha athuknaka ngdüi khai he. Mbawi kyap u lü,
The merchants of these things, who were made rich by her, will stand far away for the fear of her torment, weeping and mourning,
16 ‘Mlüh kyäpnu, jihktah la jih senmdunu la jih sendaknu jah thuiawi lü xüi la lung phuküi la vatha am nglanglawi khawiki cen, ihlawka kyühkseki ni, ihlawka kyühkseki ni!
saying, ‘Woe, woe, the great city, she who was dressed in fine linen, purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls!
17 Naji matca üng khawhthem acujah sen amdanga kya law ve,’ tia kyap law khai he. Acunüng mlawngmah he, mlawng üng kdung hüki he, mlawng mawngki he, mliktui üng khuikhawmki he cun athuknak üng ngdüi u lü,
For in an hour such great riches are made desolate.’ Every ship master, and everyone who sails anywhere, and mariners, and as many as gain their living by sea, stood far away,

19 Acunüng kyahnak la mlungnatnak mah maha, ‘mliktui üng mlawng taki he khawhthem jah pe lü jah bawimang sakia mlühnu, naji matca üng pyehei lawki hin, kyüh kse ve! kyüh kse ve!’ tia, ngpyang u lü, mvut ami lu khana phyang u lü, kyap u lü, ami mlung na law khai.
They cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and mourning, saying, ‘Woe, woe, the great city, in which all who had their ships in the sea were made rich by reason of her great wealth!’ For she is made desolate in one hour.
20 Khankhaw la nangmi Pamhnama khyang he aw, ngsä he, sahma he jekyai ua, Pamhnam naw nami hama ania khana ngthumkhya law pe ve,” ti se ka ngjak.
“Rejoice over her, O heaven, you saints, apostles, and prophets, for God has judged your judgment on her.”
21 Acunüng khankhawngsä akyan kcang mat naw ksumnua mäiha ngbaükia lungnu jäk lü mliktui üng tawnki naw, “Babalung mlüh kyäpnu hinkba tawna kya law khai, u naw am hmu be ti khai.
A mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone and cast it into the sea, saying, “Thus with violence will Babylon, the great city, be thrown down, and will be found no more at all.
22 Tengtäng tumki he, khyanga kthai he, pülün tum theiki he, kpun tum theiki hea tumkhawn cen nang üng u naw am ngja be ti khai. Kut am sawngsa theiki he pi nang üng am ngdang be ti khai he. Ksum suknaka kthai pi nang üng u naw am ngja be ti khai.
The voice of harpists, minstrels, flute players, and trumpeters will be heard no more at all in you. No craftsman of whatever craft will be found any more at all in you. The sound of a mill will be heard no more at all in you.
23 Situi meikdäi pi nang üng am däi be ti khai. Cangla la Cangpyanga kthai pi u naw am ngja be ti khai. Na khawhthem suijapnak he cun khawmdek avan üng johit mahki he ni. Hleihlak lü na suikyam binak am khawmdek khyang he naküt na jah mhleimhlak naki cen,
The light of a lamp will shine no more at all in you. The voice of the bridegroom and of the bride will be heard no more at all in you, for your merchants were the princes of the earth; for with your sorcery all the nations were deceived.
24 sahma hea thisen, Pamhnama khyang hea thisen la khawmdek khana jah hnima thisen he naküt cun nang Babalung üng hmuha kyase ning mkhuimkhaa kyaki,” ti se ka ngjak.
In her was found the blood of prophets and of saints, and of all who have been slain on the earth.”
