Malam Mdannak 13

1 Acunüng mnaka cun tuikam kdiyüta khana ngdüiki. Acunüng Sakyung mat cun mliktui üngka naw kai law se ka hmuh. Acuna sakyung naw xa ki na lü khyüh lu naki. A ki mat ci üng bawilukhum mat ci ve lü, a lu mat ci üng Pamhnam ksekhanaka ngming mat ci awmki.

And I stood on the sand of the sea, and I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and ten crowns on its horns, and on its heads names of slander,

2 Ka hmuha sakyung cun mukeica mäih lawki. A khaw he cun khawma khawa mäih lawki he. A mka cun mukeia mka mäih lawki. Mnaka naw amäta johit, bawingawhnak la ana khawjah a pet.

and the beast that I saw was like to a leopard, and its feet as of a bear, and its mouth as the mouth of a lion, and the dragon gave to it his power, and his throne, and great authority.

3 Sakyunga a lu mat cun a thihpüi khyo vaia lemkia mäih law se ka hmuh. Acunsepi a nghmalem cun ngmang beki. Khawmdek khyang he naküt naw acuna Sakyung cun aktäa kyühkhyai u lü a hnu ami läk.

And I saw one of its heads as slain to death, and its deadly wound was healed, and all the earth wondered after the beast,

4 Sakyunga veia ana pekia mnaka cun avan naw ami sawhkhah. Sakyung pi sawhkhah u lü, “Sakyung am tängki u awmki aw? U naw ani ngtukpüi thei khai aw? Tia ami pyen.

and they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast, and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who [is] like to the beast? Who is able to war with it?”

5 Acuna Sakyunga veia awhcahnak la Pamhnam pyenksenaka ngthu pyenak yahki. Khya kphyükip la nghngih acukba ve khaia ana peta kyaki.

And there was given to it a mouth speaking great things, and slanders, and there was given to it authority to make war forty-two months,

6 Pamhnam, Pamhnama ngming, Pamhnama awmnak ja khankhawa awmki avan jah yünceki.

and it opened its mouth for slander toward God, to slander His Name, and of His dwelling place, and of those who dwell in Heaven,

7 Pamhnama khyang he a jah tuknak vai la a jah nängnak vai peta kyaki. Pakhui naküt, khyangmjü naküt, paca naküt la ngthu kce kce pyenki he naküta khana ngnängnaka ana peta kyaki.

and there was given to it to make war with the holy ones, and to overcome them, and there was given to it authority over every tribe, and tongue, and nation.

8 Khawmdek am a ngtüi law ham üng hnim pänga Tomeca xünnaka cauk üng ami ngming am yuk naküt, khawmdeka khana awmki naküt naw sawhkhah khai he.

And all who are dwelling on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Scroll of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world;

9 Na nghnga a ve üng ngaia!

if anyone has an ear—let him hear:

10 Man vai mkhyah pänga khyang cun mana kya khai; kcim am hnim vai mkhyah pänga khyang cun kcim am hnima kya khai. Ahin üng Pamhnama khyang he pi dunei u lü jumeinak kcang am ami awm vai aktäa hlüki ti ngdangki.

if anyone [goes] into captivity, into captivity he goes; if anyone is to be killed with sword, it is necessary of him by sword to be killed; here is the endurance and the faith of the holy ones.

11 Acunüng Sakyung akce khawmdek üngka naw lut law se ka hmuh be. Toca a kia mäih nghngih ki na lü, mnakaa ngthua mäiha ngthuheiki.

And I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and it had two horns like a lamb, and it was speaking as a dragon,

12 Sakyung anghngihnak naw sakyung akcüka ana avan cun ania ma sumeiki. A mneh daw bekia sakyung cun Khawmdek la khawmdeka khana awmki naküt naw ami sawhkhah vaia sakyung anghngihnak naw jah pawhki.

and all the authority of the first beast does it do before it, and it makes the earth and those dwelling in it that they will worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed,

13 Acuna sakyung anghngihnak naw müncankse akyäp säih jah biloki. Khyang he hmuha khan üngka naw mei kya law khaia biloki.

and it does great signs, that fire also it may make to come down from the sky to the earth before men,

14 Sakyung akcüka ma mdan vaia müncankse he bilawhnak he a yahnak am khawmdek khyang he jah mhleimhlaki. Mthikcim am thi khyo khaia lem teki am thi lü xüngkia Sakyung akcüknak cun leisawngnaka a juktuh pyang khai hea khawmdek khyang he üng sakyung anghngihnak naw ngthu a jah pet.

and it leads astray those dwelling on the earth, because of the signs that were given it to do before the beast, saying to those dwelling on the earth to make an image to the beast that has the wound of the sword and lived,

15 Sakyung anghngihnak naw sakyung akcük üng xüngsei khaia ngxünak a pet. Acuna juktuh naw kthuhei law lü sakyung akcüka juktuh am sawkkhahki naküt cun jah hnim khai.

and there was given to it to give a spirit to the image of the beast, that also the image of the beast may speak, and it may cause as many as will not worship the image of the beast, that they may be killed.

16 Acunüng sakyung naw khyang naküt akjaw akdäm, bawimangki la m'yenkseki, tamna la am tamna, ami kut kpat lam üng pi kyase ami mceyü üng pi kyase msingnak a jah pawh sak.

And it makes all, the small, and the great, and the rich, and the poor, and the freemen, and the servants, that it may give to them a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads,

17 Msingnak Sakyunga ngminga pi kyase, a ngming tähnaka pi kyase taki he dänga thea, u naw i am kheih thei lü am a jawihtuknak thei vaia phäha kyaki.

and that no one may be able to buy, or to sell, except he who is having the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

18 Hin üng themnak hlüki. Ksingkhyap theiki naw Sakyung tähnaka suilam ksing kawm. Nghngicima tähnaka kyaki. Acuna tähnak cun 666 ka kyaki.

Here is the wisdom! He who is having the understanding, let him count the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and its number: six hundred sixty-six.
