< Judah 1 >

1 Jesuh Khritawa mpya, Jakuka na kei Judah naw, Pamhnam naw a jah khü päng khyange, Pa Pamhnama mhläkphyanak ja Jesuh Khritawa kcungvawngnak am xüngseikie veia ka yuk ni.
To those who, having received the call, have been loved by God the Father and protected by Jesus Christ, From Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ, and the brother of James.
2 Mpyenmseinak, dimdeihnak ja mhläkphyanak nami khana be se.
May mercy, peace, and love be yours in ever increasing measure.
Dear friends, while I was making every effort to write to you about our common salvation, I felt that I must write to you at once to encourage you to fight in defence of the faith that has once for all been entrusted to the keeping of Christ’s people.
Acun he naw mi Mahpa ja Bawipa, Jesuh Khritaw cun makie. Ami yahei vaia mkatnak ta, ahlana khyüh Cangcim naw a na pyen päng ni.
For there have crept in among you certain godless people, whose sentence has long since been pronounced, and who make the mercy of God an excuse for profligacy, and disown our only lord and master, Jesus Christ.
5 Acunakyase, nami ksing pänga kya kyaw lü pi, ning jah mcuhmcäinaka ka pyen hlü ta, Isarel khyang mjüe cen Egypt pe üngkhyüh Bawipa naw a jah küikyan ni. Acunüngpi, ani am jumeiki cun a jah mcimkpyeh be ni.
Now I want to remind you – but you already know it all – that, though the Lord delivered the people from Egypt, yet he afterwards destroyed those who refused to believe in him;
6 Pamhnam naw a jah peta anaa k’uma am ve hlü lü ami hnün hawihkia khankhawngsä avange pi ngthumkhyah lawa Mhnüp üng a jah mkhuimkha vaia, angsäia mthiyüi am jah khit lü anghmüpnaka ke säiha a jah tak cen jah süm ua. (aïdios g126)
and that even those angels, who did not keep to their appointed spheres, but left their proper homes, have been kept by him for the judgment of the great day in everlasting chains and black darkness. (aïdios g126)
7 Sodom ja Komorah, ja a pipeia mlüh üngka khyange pi acuna khankhawngsäe akba awmih u lü hnunglanak, khyanga khyucei ihawmpüi lü mkhyekat u se angsäia mei üng mkhihnak ami khamei cen mi vana phäh mcäinak ni ti cen süm ua. (aiōnios g166)
Like Sodom and Gomorrah and the towns near them, which gave themselves up to fornication, and fell into unnatural vice, these angels now stand out as a warning, undergoing, as they are, punishment in eternal fire. (aiōnios g166)
8 Acukba ni, ahina khyange naw amimäta pumsa jah mkhyekatsakia hmuhmdannak ta ve u. Pamhnama johit pi am hnaläü u, khana veki khankhawngsä jomahe pi jah mdihmsuikie.
Yet in the same way these people, too, cherishing vain dreams, pollute our human nature, reject control, and malign the celestial beings.
9 Khankhawngsäea mkhawng Mihkhelah hngawh pi acukba am ve. Khawyama dä Mosia yawk u naw bi khai ti lü ani ngcuh üng mkateinaka ngthu am pyen. “Bawipa naw ning kse na se” ti lü ni a pyen.
Yet even Michael, the archangel, when, in his dispute with the devil, he was arguing about the body of Moses, did not venture to charge him with maligning, but said merely “The Lord rebuke you!”
10 Acunüngpi, ahina khyange naw ta am ami ksing ngkhai cun mdihmsuinak am ngtäkpüikie. Sakyungea mäiha ami ngtüiei lawpüi am ksing u lü, acuna ksingnak naw jah kpyüpye khai.
But these people malign whatever they do not understand; while they use such things as they know by instinct (like the animals that have no reason) for their own corruption.
11 Ihlawka kyühei phyaki ni. Kaihnaha hnu läki he ni. Ngui yah vaia phäh biloki Balaama kba mkhyenak pawh ve u. Korah naw pyen a kpetmjaka kba, pyen kpetmjakie. Koraha cimpyak kba cimpyak acun he.
Alas for them! They walk in the steps of Cain; led astray by Balaam’s love of gain, they plunge into sin, and meet their ruin through rebellion like Korah.
12 Nglawinak buh pawi nami pawh üng nami ksunga ngkeei vai am ksing u lü mtuihmlehsakie ni. Amimäta phü vai däk ksingki he. Acun he cun khawkhi naw a jawn hü yawhtui ka khawngmei am tängkie ni. A ngthei kcün pha lü am ngtheipaiki thingdung am tängkie ni. Ami ngthei vaia kcün khawksik khye hngawh üngpi am ngtheikia thingdungea kba, a pya mahmaha phukin lü avana thikia thingdung üng tängkie ni.
These are the people who are blots on your “love-feasts,” when they feast together and provide without scruple for themselves alone. They are clouds without rain, driven before the winds; they are leafless trees without a vestige of fruit, dead through and through, torn up by the roots;
13 Ngkeeikse aksekhyu ami bi lawh cun, mtüihkhehki tuimpawn nawt lawki mpanglai tui ngnawk üng tängkie ni. A phanak vai hnün am ngtekia aisie am tängkie ni. Amimi phäh Pamhnam naw anghmüpnak säih hnün cun angsäia jah tak petki. (aiōn g165)
they are wild sea waves, foaming with their own shame; they are “wandering stars,” for which the blackest darkness has been reserved for ever. (aiōn g165)
14 Adam üngkhyüh ngsawn khyühnak Enawk naw sahma lü a na pyen ta, “Bawipa cun a khankhawngsä ngcim thawng khawkän am kyum law lü avana khana ngthumkhyah law khai. Mhnam kaa mäiha am dawki ami pawhnak naküt ja mhnam kaa mäiha khyangka he naw ani kpetnaka ngthu kyühei phyaki ami pyen naküta phäh acune jah mkhuimkha law khai” a ti.
To these people, as to others, Enoch, the seventh in descent from Adam, declared – “See! The Lord has come with his hosts of holy ones around him,
to execute judgment on all people, and to convict all godless people of all their godless acts, which in their ungodliness they have committed, and of all the harsh words which they have spoken against him, godless sinners that they are!”
16 Acuna khyange cun aläa ngikcak u lü khyang jah mkateikie. Ami mlungkaw ngnei ksea hnu läki he. Amimät mhlünmtaiei u lü, amimäta dawnak vaia khyang jah mhläki he.
These people are always murmuring, and complaining of their lot; they follow where their passions lead them; they have arrogant words on their lips; and they flatter others for the sake of what they can get from them.
17 Ka püi he aw, mi Bawipa Jesuh Khritawa ngsäe naw ami pyen khawi, “Akpäihnaka kcün üng, ning yaihyünei acun he po law acun he. Khyang he naw mhnam am ksinga mtisa hlü läklam law acun he” ti cen süm ua.
But you should, dear friends, recall what was foretold by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
how they used to say to you – “As time draws to an end, there will be scoffers, who will be led by their godless passions.”
19 Ahin he cun ngphüingkyanak pawhkie ni, Ngmüimkhya am takia khyange, ami mlung hlü naw a jah nängeia khyange ni.
These are the people – animal and unspiritual – who cause divisions.
20 Acunüngpi, ka püi he aw, nami jumeinak ngcingcaih säih am namimät ngsawngsaei ua. Ngmüimkhya Ngcima johit am ktaiyü ua.
But you must, dear friends, build up your characters on the foundation of your most holy faith, pray under the guidance of the Holy Spirit,
21 Pamhnama mhläkphyanak am namimät ve nglät ua. Angsäia xünnak a ning jah pet vaia phäh mi Bawipa Jesuh Khritawa mpyenmseinak äpei lü ve ua. (aiōnios g166)
and keep within the love of God, while waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, to bring you to eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
22 Ami mlung uplatkie khana mpyeneinak ta ua.
To some show pity, because they are in doubt. “Drag them out of the fire,” and save them.
23 Khyang kce he xünnak ami yah vai mei kdäi üngkhyüh jah kset be lü jah kumei ua. Mceieinak am jah mpyenei ua. Cunüngpi, ami mkhyenak mtisa hlükaw am beki ami suisak ta nami mtuihei vai.
To others show pity, but with caution, hating the clothing polluted by their touch.
24 Jumeinak üng kyukngpänak üngkhyüh, mkhyenak am vekia jekyainak üng a hlüngtainaka maa ning jah cehpüi khawhki,
To him who is able to guard you from falling, and to bring you into his glorious presence, blameless and rejoicing –
25 Jah Küikyanki Pamhnam mat däka jotai, dämduh hlüngtainak ja ana cun, Mi Bawipa Jesuh Khritaw üngkhyüh, päih pängki kcüne ja atuh üngkhyüh, angsäia hlüngtai se. Amen. (aiōn g165)
to the one God, our Saviour, be ascribed, through Jesus Christ, our Lord, glory, majesty, power, and dominion, as it was before time began, is now, and will be for all time to come. Amen. (aiōn g165)
