< Hebru 8 >

1 Mi pyen avan hin khankhawa Pamhnam Jotai Bawi ngawhnaka khet da ngawhki Ktaiyü Ngvai Säih mi taki.
Now the principal thing among those of which we are speaking is this: We have such a high-priest, who sat down on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;
2 Ani naw ktaiyü ngvai säiha kba angcimnak säiha hnüna khut biki. Acun hin nghngicima sawngsaka am kya lü Bawipa sawngsaka sam kcanga kyaki ni.
a minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, not man.
3 Ktaiyü ngvai naküt cun Pamhnama veia khyüksei ngkengnak ja petmsawtnak pawh khaia mcawna kya u lü mimia Ktaiyü Ngvai Säih naw pi petmsawtnak a pawh vai ve khai.
For every high-priest is appointed to offer gifts and sacrifices; whence it is necessary that this one also have something which he may offer.
4 Ani cun khawmdeka a vea kyak üng ani cun Ktaiyüa am kya kung, isetiakyaküng Judaha Thuma tä bilo khai ktaiyüe ami vea phäh ni.
For if, indeed, he were on earth, he would not be a priest, since there are those that offer the gifts according to the Law;
5 Amimia khut hin naw khankhaw vekia jawngpan ja nghnge däk ni ami pawh u ta. Ahin cun Mosi am vekia mäi ni atäng ve. Mosi naw Ngcimkia Hjam a sawngsak vai üng Pamhnam naw, “Mcunga khana ka ning mdan nümyana mäia anaküt cän angsinga na pawh yah khai,” ti lü a mtheh.
who serve the mere delineation and shadow of the heavenly things, as Moses was admonished by God when he was about to make the tabernacle; for, “See,” saith he, “that thou make all things according to the pattern which was shown thee in the mount.”
6 Atuha amimia kthaka hlüng bawkia ktaiyüa khut binak cun Jesuh üng a pet ni. Pamhnam ja a khyangea keha daw khaia ngthumkhän jah pawh peki, isetiakyaküng, ahin cun akdaw bawka khyütama khana hnganeiki ni.
But now he hath obtained a more excellent ministry, in proportion as he is the mediator of a better covenant, which hath been established upon better promises.
7 Akcüka ngthumkhän mkhyenak am a ve üng anghngihnak cun am hlü.
For if that first covenant had been faultless, then a place would not have been sought for a second.
8 Lüpi Pamhnam naw a khyange am ami mkhyekatnak a hmuh üng ani naw, “Khawmhnüpe pha law khai, Bawipa naw a ti üng Judah khyange ja Isarel khyange am ngthumkhän akthai ka pawh law khai.
For finding fault with them, he saith: “Behold, the days are coming, saith the Lord, when I will make with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah a new covenant;
9 Ami pupae Egypt pe üngkhyüh jah cehpüi lü ka kut am ka jah law bea mhnüp üng ka pawha mäi ngthumkhän cun am pawh ti ngü. Amimi am ka pawha bekhüt cun am sitih na u lü am jah cungai veng.
not according to the covenant which I made with their fathers, in the day when I took them by the hand, to bring them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord: I will put my laws into their mind, and on their hearts will I write them; and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people.
11 Amimi üngka u naw pi ami püie mthei vai ja ami imceng lopei üng ‘Bawipa ksing ua’ ti lü mtheh vai am hlü ti. Akdik üngkhyüh akdäm säih cäpa kei na ksing khaie.
And they shall not teach every one his fellow-citizen, and every one his brother, saying, Know the Lord; for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
12 Ami mkhyekatnak jah mhlät lü, ami hmakatnake pi käh ka süm ti khai,” tia a pyen.
For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities I will remember no more.”
13 Akthai ngthumkhän pyen üng, Pamhnam naw akcüka akphyüma pawh lü phyüm lawki naküte cun khyük law khaie ni.
In that he saith, “a new covenant,” he hath made the first old; but that which is becoming old, and worn out with age, is ready to vanish away.
