< Hebru 12 >

1 Mimia phäha mi hnu maa saksi khawhah veki. Acunakyase, akceta jah man kyetkia mkhyenak, mi cehnak lama veki cun mimät naw jah lola lü mi maa veki cun yah vai dawngnak cän mlung mcetnak am mi dawng vai u.
Therefore let us also, seeing we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
2 Akcük üngkhyüh akpäihnak vei cäpa jumeinak üng mi nghnganeinaka kyaki Jesuh cän mi bük kyet vai u. Kutlamtunga phäh ani cun am hela. Vang lam da ta, ani k'äihkia jekyainaka phäh kutlamtunga khana thihnak cun hmaiksetnaka am ngai, acuna kyase ani cun atuha ta Pamhnama Bawi ngawhnak khet da ngawki ni.
looking to Jesus, the founder and completer of the faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, disregarding its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
3 Mkhyekia khyange naw ami cawkei ihlawka khamei lü citcawnki ti cän ngai süma. Acuna kyase ktha käh ngcek lü käh hawiha.
For consider him who has endured such hostility from sinners against himself, so that you may not become tired and give up.
4 Mkhyenak na ngtäk püi üngpi na thih vai awnga ta am khamei hamki.
You have not yet resisted to the point of shedding blood in your struggle against sin;
5 Pamhnam naw a caea mäih ktha ning jah pe lü a ning jah ngthumin püi cän nami mhnih u aw? “Ka ca, Pamhnam naw a ning pitpyang üng ktha käh ngcek lü a ning ksenak üngpi käh puksea.
and you have forgotten the exhortation which reasons with you as with sons, "My son, do not take lightly the discipline of the Lord, nor lose heart when you are corrected by him.
6 Isetiakyaküng, Bawipa naw a kphyanaka khyang cun pitpyang lü a ca kba a dokhama khyang cun ksenaki ni.”
For whom the Lord loves he disciplines, and punishes every son he accepts."
7 Na paa a ning ksenak na khamei cän cuneia; na cüneinak hin naw Pamhnam naw a cae mäia a jah vecawh püi cun mdanki ni. A pa naw am a mcäi khawia ca ve khai aw?
If you are enduring discipline, God is dealing with you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline?
8 A caea kba am a ning mcäi khawi ta a cae kcanga am kya lü akcea caea nami kyaki.
But if you are without discipline, of which all have been made partakers, then you are illegitimate, and not sons.
9 Khawmdeka mi pae naw pi jah mcäi u lü mi jah leisawng u ni. Ngmüimkhya lama Mi Pa cun üng mimät cuap lü ihlawka mi xüng yah khai ni.
Furthermore, we had earthly fathers who disciplined us, and we paid them respect. Should we not much rather be subject to the Father of spirits, and live?
10 Khawmdeka mi pae naw jah daw hlüsak u lü asäng ami jah mcäi ni. Lüpi Pamhnam naw a jah mcäi ta nimäta dawnak vaia kya lü a ngcimcaihnak yümatei püi vaia phäh ni.
For they indeed, for a few days, disciplined us as seemed good to them; but he for our profit, that we may be partakers of his holiness.
11 Mcäinak mi khameia kcün üngta jenaka am kya, jah thüiseisaki ni. Cun lüpi hnua ta mcäinak mi kham käna ksenaka phu mi ah be ta dimdeiha ngsungpyunkia xünnak ni.
All discipline seems for the moment painful, not joyful; yet afterward it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been exercised thereby.
12 Khakia nami kute cun jah säng lü ktha am vekia nami mkhuke pi cüngsak ua.
Therefore, lift up the hands that hang down and the feeble knees,
13 Ngsungkia lam üng nami ceha kyak üng a khawkse pi dawnak yah be khai ni.
and make straight paths for your feet, so that which is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed.
14 Khyang naküt üng na ngkhawt vaia mtunei lü ngcimcaihki kcünsak üng na xün vaia mtuneia. Isetiakyaküng, ahin am ngpüi xakia u naw pi Bawipa am hmu u.
Pursue peace with everyone, and the sanctification without which no one will see the Lord,
15 Pamhnama bäkhäknak üngkhyüh nglatnak be vai cän mcei bä. U pi thing dung khaa dämduhkia kba ja acun asik naw am dawkyaki a pawha kba käh thawn se.
looking carefully lest there be anyone who falls short of the grace of God; that no root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by it many become defiled;
16 A yahei mkäih vaia ca kcük cun eiawk üng jawiki Etawa kba a vecawh am dawki, am ani üng, Ngmüimkhya lam sumnemnak vaia u pi käh thawn se.
that there be no sexually immoral or profane person like Esau, who sold his own birthright for one meal.
17 Nami ksing ua kba, akäna a paa dawkyanak pet cun yahei hlüki, lüpi ani cun nglat beki. Isetiakyaküng, miktui am ia mäi sui kyaw lüpi a bilawh päng cun nglatsak be khaia tuilam am hmu ti ve.
For you know that even when he afterward desired to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place for a change of mind though he sought it diligently with tears.
18 Isarele naw Sinai mcunga mei kdäi, nghmüp ja mthan, khawkhi däm,
For you have not come to something that might be touched, and that burned with fire, and darkness, gloom, and storm,
19 kpunga ng'yüng ja a kthai jah hmu ngja lü ami lawa kba nami lawki am ni. Khyange naw kthai ami ngjak üng akcea khyü käh ami ngjak be vaia nghuikie,
the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which those who heard it begged that not one more word should be spoken to them,
20 isetiakyaküng, am ami ngjak khawh ta, “khyüksei hngawh naw mcung a leh vai üng a thih awnga lung am khawng tawng vai,” tia mthehnak cän ni.
for they could not stand that which was commanded, "If even an animal touches the mountain, it must be stoned;"
21 Mosia hmu cun cäiphyaki, “Kei ngkhyet lü ka cäiki” tia pyenki.
and so fearful was the appearance, that Moses said, "I am terrified and trembling."
22 Khankhawngsä he athawng khawhah ami venak, Khankhaw Jerusalem, xüngseiki Pamhnama mlüh ja Zion mcunga nami lawki he ni.
But you have come to Mount Zion, and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to innumerable multitudes of angels,
23 Khankhawa ngming yuknak khameikie, Pamhnama ca kcüke jekyai lü ami ngkhämnaka nami lawki he ni. Khyang jah dawsak lü jah kümceisakia ngmüimkhyae ja khyang naküt ngthumkhyah khai Pamhnama vei nami lawki he ni.
to the assembly of the firstborn who are enrolled in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of righteous people made perfect,
24 Abelaha thi naw a pawha khyütamea kthaka daw bawki pawhki thi cun kthüih lü ngthumkhän akthai pawhkia Jesuha vei nami lawki he ni.
to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better than that of Abel.
25 Ning jah ngthukhyü püikia pyen cän käh nami kpet vaia mcei ua. Khawmdeka Pamhnama ngthukhyü law püikia pyen kpetki cun mhlät vaia am kya. Khankhaw üngkhyüh jah ngthukhyü püikia pyen mi nglat tak ta ihawkba pi am mi lät.
See that you do not refuse him who speaks. For if they did not escape when they refused him who warned on the earth, how much more will we not escape who turn away from him who warns from heaven,
26 Ania kthai naw acuna kcün üng khawmdek ksün lüpi, “Kei naw khawmdek cun ahun däk am ksün lü khankhaw pi ka ksün sih khai,” ti lü a khyütamki ni.
whose voice shook the earth then, but now he has promised, saying, "Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heavens."
27 “Ahun däk” tia khyü hin naw a mdan ta mhnünmcenge naküt ngsün u lü khyük khaie. Ilünitiakyaküng käh ngsün theikia ngkhaw cun ve hüt khai.
This phrase, "Yet once more," signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that have been made, that those things which are not shaken may remain.
28 Am ngsün theikia khyawngpe mi yahei ua phäh mi je vai u. Leisawngnak ja kyüheinak am Pamhnam mi jesak vai ua tuilam cun sui lü xe na lü Pamhnam mi hjawkhah vai u,
So since we are receiving a Kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us give thanks, through which we may offer service pleasing to God, with reverence and awe,
29 isetiakyaküng, Pamhnam cun akcanga jah uikia mei ni.
for our God is a consuming fire.
