1 Nangmi ja Lodikih khyange ja kei a khyangpuma am na ksingki hea phäh ihlawka khuikha lü ka khüi cun ning jah mtheh vang.
For I would have you know what combat I have for you, and those in Laodicea, and as many as have not seen my face in flesh;
2 Linglainak am be lü mhläkphyanak üng atänga ami kümbe law vaia ja, ksingkhyapnak kcang lawpüikia mkhühüpnak am ami kümbe lawnak vaia kyaki. Acunüng va, Pamhnama thup Khritaw cun ami ksing law vaia ahin ka pawh ni.
to the end that their hearts may be encouraged, being united together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to [the] full knowledge of the mystery of God;
3 Khritaw cun ngthupkia Pamhnama pungngyam ja themngvainak nghmawngnak tawha kyaki.
in which are hid all the treasures of wisdom and of knowledge.
4 Akdaw säiha ngsaih u lü pi, u naw pi am cangkia ngcuhkaihnak am käh a ning jah mhleimhlak vaia ahin ka ning jah mtheh ni.
And I say this to the end that no one may delude you by persuasive speech.
5 Pumsa am nami hlawnga am ve ngü sepi, ngmüimkhya üng ta nami hlawnga ka vekia kya se, Khritaw üng nami jumeinak ngkhängpang lü atänga nami ngdüih yüm ka hmuh üng ka jeki.
For if indeed in the flesh I am absent, yet I am with you in spirit, rejoicing and seeing your order, and the firmness of your faith in Christ.
6 Khritaw Jesuh cun Bawipa ni tia nami doei pängki he a kyase, ani üng yümmat lü xüngsei ua.
As therefore ye have received the Christ, Jesus the Lord, walk in him,
7 Ani üng phungpyamah lü, ani üng xüngsei ua. Nami ngtheingthang pängki he a kyase jumeinak üng ngkhängpang u. Jenak mthehnak üng kümbe u bä.
rooted and built up in him, and assured in the faith, even as ye have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.
8 Khritaw üngkhyüh lawkia am kya lü, khawmdek ngmüimkhyae ja khyanga mtheimthangnake amdang üngkhyüh lawkia pungngyam üng mpyaa käh a ning jah pawh vaia mceiei u bä.
See that there be no one who shall lead you away as a prey through philosophy and vain deceit, according to the teaching of men, according to the elements of the world, and not according to Christ.
9 Isenitiüng, Khritaw khyanga a thawnnak üng Mhnam ning cun kümceiki ni.
For in him dwells all the fulness of the Godhead bodily;
10 Ani üng yümmatnaka xünnak kümcei a ning jah pet päng ni. Ngmüimkhya naküt ja ana naküta khana hlüngtai säihki ni.
and ye are complete in him, who is the head of all principality and authority,
11 Khritaw üng yümmatnak üng vun mawih pänga nami kyaki. Khyang naw a pawha vun mawihnak am ni lü, Khritaw naw a pawha vun mawih ni. Acun cun mkhyekatki pumsaa mpya üngkhyüh lätnak ni.
in whom also ye have been circumcised with circumcision not done by hand, in the putting off of the body of the flesh, in the circumcision of the Christ;
12 Baptican nami khan üng Khritaw am atänga nami ng’utei pängki ni. Baptican nami khan üng, thihnak üngkhyüh Khritaw mtho beki Pamhnama johit jumeinak üng, thihnak üngkhyüh nami tho be pängki he ni.
buried with him in baptism, in which ye have been also raised with [him] through faith of the working of God who raised him from among the dead.
13 Nami mkhyenake ja Thum kaa khyangmjükcea nami thawna phäh ngmüimkhya thihnaka nami phaki. Acunüng pi, Pamhnam naw nami mkhyekatnak naküt ning jah mhlätei lü Khritaw üng xünnak a ning jah pet be ni.
And you, being dead in offences and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, he has quickened together with him, having forgiven us all the offences;
14 Jah khitkhawnkia mi leie a jah mcun naküt cun Pamhnam naw a jah mhlät pet ni. Kutlamktunga cehpüi lü avan a jah mkhyüh pet päng ni.
having effaced the handwriting in ordinances which [stood out] against us, which was contrary to us, he has taken it also out of the way, having nailed it to the cross;
15 Acuna kutlamktung üngkhyüh Khritaw naw amät cun khyaihbahnake ja ngmüimkhya johite üngka naw mhläteiki. Acun he cun khyangea hmuh vaia tamnaea mäiha amäta ngnängnak da jah cehpüiki.
having spoiled principalities and authorities, he made a show of them publicly, leading them in triumph by it.
16 Acunakyase, Sabbath mhnüp, khyathei pawi, khawning pawie üng, i ei aw lü i käh nami eiawk vai tia u naw pi käh ning jah mkhyah pet se.
Let none therefore judge you in meat or in drink, or in matter of feast, or new moon, or sabbaths,
17 Acun naküt cun ngawia thawn law khai pumsaa mkhya ni. Acuna pumsa ta Khritaw ni.
which are a shadow of things to come; but the body [is] of Christ.
18 Khankhawngsäe a jah sawkhaha phäh mdannak yah lü hlüngtai säihkia hana cawmkia khyange naw käh ning jah mkatei u se. Isetiüng, acuna khyange cun nghngicim cungngaihnak am cungngai u lü akhawva awhcahnakie ni. Acun he cun amdange ni.
Let no one fraudulently deprive you of your prize, doing his own will in humility and worship of angels, entering into things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by the mind of his flesh,
19 Pumsa lupuma kyaki Khritawa mtisaa am kya ti u. Pumsa avan cun Khritawa tumbeinak üng xüng lü atänga ngsüngcawng lü Pamhnama hlüeia kba dämduhkie ni.
and not holding fast the head, from whom all the body, ministered to and united together by the joints and bands, increases with the increase of God.
20 Khritaw am thi päng lü khawmdek jah khankhaw kanaki ngmüimkhya ksea kut k’um üngkhyüh a ning jah mhlät ni. Nangmi cun Khritaw üng nami thi pängki a ni üng, hin käh ei vai, can käh awk vai, hin käh hneh vai tia khawmdek thumceme ise nami jah läklam hamkie ni.
If ye have died with Christ from the elements of the world, why as [if] alive in [the] world do ye subject yourselves to ordinances?
Do not handle, do not taste, do not touch,
22 Khyanga mtheimthangnak üng ami jah läklamsaka thumceme hin ta amdanga ni a thawn kawm.
(things which are all for destruction in the using [of them]: ) according to the injunctions and teachings of men,
23 Acuna thumcem he cun, asihlinga khankhawngsäe sawkhahnak, mlung mhnemnak han ja pumsa mkhuimkhanake üngkhyüh ami yah pungngyam üng tüneiki ni. Cunüngpi, ami mtisa khana ami bilawh cun amdang ni.
(which have indeed an appearance of wisdom in voluntary worship, and humility, and harsh treatment of the body, not in a certain honour, ) to [the] satisfaction of the flesh.
