< 2 Timoti 3 >

1 Akpäihnaka mhnüpe üng akhaknaka kcüne ve law khai ti cun süma.
Be sure of this, that in the last days difficult times will come.
2 Khyange naw amimäta nghmah bük khaie, ngui hlüei khaie, awhcah khaie, khyanga thang mset khaie, mäta phäh tengnak, nupaa pyen kpet khaie, dawkyanak am ksing u lü ningsaw pi am ksing u,
People will be selfish, mercenary, boastful, haughty, and blasphemous; disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, impure,
3 amimi cun am dawkya u, mpyeneinak am ve, khyang aksea pyen khaie, hlühlawk u lü sosat khaie; akdaw cun am hmu hlü u,
incapable of affection, merciless, slanderous, wanting in self-control, brutal, careless of the right,
4 ami cun am sitih u, cungaihnak pi am ve, awhcah u lü Pamhnama kthaka bawimangnak jawngnakie;
treacherous, reckless, and puffed up with pride; they will love pleasure more than they love God;
5 mi ningsaw akpung sawxat läklam u lü johit kcang cun mah khaie. Acuna khyange üngkhyüh akthuka vea.
and while they retain the outward form of religion, they will not allow it to influence them. Turn your back on such people as these.
6 Khyang avange cun khyangea ima cit hü u lü ktha ngceki nghnumie, ami mkhyea ja hlükawei naw a jah nängeie naküt cun jah hnepei hükie ni,
For among them are to be found those who creep into homes and captivate weak women – women who, loaded with sins, and slaves to all kinds of passions,
7 acun nghnumie cun ngthungtak am ksing u lüpi ngthei khaia angläta kthanakie ni.
are always learning, and yet never able to attain to a real knowledge of the truth.
8 Janneh ja Jambareh naw Mosi ami ngtek püia kba ahina khyange naw pi ngthungtak ngtek püikie-ahinea mlung cun thi lü jumeinak üngpi ngsukngvänkie ni.
Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so do these people, in their turn, oppose the truth. Their minds are corrupted, and, as regards the faith, they are utterly worthless.
9 Khyang avan naw ihlawka yüangkie ti cun ami jah ksinga phäh akthuk am pha khawh u. Acukba kunga Janneh ja Jambareha veia thawnki.
They will not, however, make further progress; for their wicked folly will be plain to everyone, just as the folly Jannes and Jambres was.
10 Nang naw ta, ka vecawh, ka mtheimthang ja ka kcün sak üng ka mkhühnak; ka jumnak, ka mlung msaünak, ka mhläkphyanak, ka khameinak,
But you, Timothy, were a close observer of my teaching, my conduct, my purposes, my faith, my forbearance, my love, and my patient endurance,
11 ami na mkhuimkhanake ja ka khuikhanake. Khyühkyawk vaia mkhuimkhanake hin Antiok, Ikonih ja Luhtaraha thawnki ti cun na jah ksingki ni. Lüpi Bawipa naw na yungkaihki ni.
as well as of my persecutions, and of the sufferings which I met with at Antioch, Iconium, and Lystra. You know what persecutions I underwent; and yet the Lord brought me safe out of all!
12 A u pi, Khritaw Jesuh am yümmat lü akdawa xüng hlüki ta mkhuimkhanak khamei lü,
Yes, and all who aim at living a religious life in union with Christ Jesus will have to suffer persecution;
13 khyang ksee ja khyang k’hleie cun akse üngkhyüh akse bawk pawh u lü khyange jah mhlei u lü amimät naw amimät mhlei sihki he ni.
but wicked people and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving others and deceived themselves.
14 Acun sepi, nang ta, angkhänga jumki lü na ngthei ja ngthungtak am msu lü vea. Na sajae u tia ksingki lü,
You, however, must stand by what you learnt and accepted as true. You know who they were from whom you learnt it;
15 Ngcimkia Cangcim na dik ham üngkhyüh na ksingki, acun naw kthemnak jah pe lü acuna kthemnak naw Khritaw Jesuh jumnak üngkhyüh küikyannak da jah cehpüiki ti cun süm bä.
and that, from your childhood, you have known the sacred writings, which can give you the wisdom that, through belief in Christ Jesus, leads to salvation.
16 Cangcim naküt hin Pamhnama xünsaka kya lü ngthungtak jah mtheinak, akhye jah mthehnak, hmaki pitpyannak ja akdawa xün vaia jah mcuhmthehnaka dawki ni,
All scripture is God-breathed: helpful for teaching, for refuting error, for giving guidance, and for training others in righteousness;
17 acunakyase, Pamhnama khut pawhkia khyang cun Cangcim üngkhyüh akdaw amjü mjü bilawhnak khawh am kbebangki ni.
so that God’s people may be capable and equipped for good work of every kind.
