1 Kei sangcim ngvai, Khritawa khuikhanak ka mik am hmu lü a ngdang law bea kcün üng hlüngtainak yah hnga khai naw nami ksunga sangcim ngvai jah nghui na veng.
I exhort the elders among you, as a fellow elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and who will also share in the glory that will be revealed:
2 Toksäm naw a toe a jah msümceia mäiha, nami msümcei vaia Pamhnam naw a ning jah pet cen jah msümcei ua. Msümcei vaia mta a nia phäh am ni lü, Pamhnam jesak khaia mlung am bi ua. Ngui yahnak hlüa mlung am käh nikia, Pamhnama phäh khut binak hlüa mlung kcang üng bi ua.
Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, exercising the oversight, not under compulsion, but voluntarily, as God wants; not for dishonest gain, but willingly;
3 Nami jah msümceiea khana ngvai kawlaiha käh yäng u lü ami ning jah ngcuhngkihnak vaia ve ua.
neither as lording it over those entrusted to you, but making yourselves examples to the flock.
4 Toksäm Ngvai säih a law be üng, a vainak käh khyük theikia hlüngtaikia lukhüm nami ngbung law khai.
When the chief Shepherd is revealed, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away.
5 Acuna kba ni, nangmi athawie naw akdämea mtheh ngja ua. Nami püia maa mlung mhnemnak ta ua. Cangcim naw, “A mlung dämki Pamhnam naw khyah lü, mlung mhnemki jäk ve” a ti.

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time;

casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you.
8 Thüxak lü mceiei ua. Nami yepa Khawyai cun hengsiha kba huk lü a mjaw vai sui lü cit hüki.
Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
9 Nami jumeinak am ngkhängcek lü ani cen sungkham ua. Isenitiüng, khawmdek khan abäng üng, nami khritjanpüi he pi nangmia khamei mäiha khuikhanak khameikie ti nami ksingki.
Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings.
10 Acukba khuikhanak asäng nami khamei käna, Khritaw üng yümmatnak am angsäia a hlüngtainak yah hnga khaia ning jah khüki Pamhnama bäkhäknak naw ning jah kümceisak khai. Ning jah ngkhängpangsak lü ngjuktha ning jah pe khai. Acun käna, ngkhängkia ngleheinak am ning jah ngdüihsak khai. (aiōnios g166)
And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen and establish you. (aiōnios g166)

13 Pamhnam naw a khü hnga Babalunga veki sangcim naw pi ning jah hnukset ve. Ka ca Makuh naw pi ning jah hnukset ve.

14 Nami khritjanpüi mhläkphyanak am mat ja mat hnuksetei ua. Khritaw üng sängeiki naküta veia dimdeihnak ve se.
