< 1 Johan 4 >
1 Ka püi he aw, Ngmüimkhya ka taki tiki naküt käh jah jum sawxat ua. Pamhnam üngkhyüh lawkia ngmüimkhya mä tia jah mceiei u bä. Isetiüng, sahma kcanga hane cun hnün lum üng pha hü pängki he ni.
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
2 Pamhnama Ngmüimkhya cun ihawkba yükhya vai ni ti üng ta, khyanga kba ngtüi lawki Jesuh Khritaw üng Pamhnam üngkhyüh lawkia ngmüimkhya pi taki tia dokhameiki naküt cun sahma kcang ni.
By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit who confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God,
3 Cunüngpi, Jesuh üng Pamhnam üngkhyüh Ngmüimkhya am ta ti lü makia khyang cun khawyai sahma ni. A taka ngmüimkhya cun Anti-Khrit hea kyaki he ni. Ani cun law khai ti nami ngjak pänga mäiha atuh hin khawmdeka ve pängki ni.
and every spirit who does not confess Jesus is not of God; and this is that of the antichrist, of whom you have heard that it comes. Now it is in the world already.
4 Ka canae aw, nangmi ta Pamhnama kaa nami kyaa phäh acune pi nami jah näng päng ni. Isenitiüng, nangmi üng vekia ngmüimkhya cun khawmdek ngmüimkhyaa kthaka johitmah bawki ni.
You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world.
5 Sahma ksee cun naw khawmdek üng sängeiki ni ami pyen. Khawmdek üng ami sängeia phäh, khawmdek khyange naw pi amimia pyen ni ami ngjak.
They are of the world. Therefore they speak of the world, and the world hears them.
6 Mimi ta Pamhnam am mi sängeiki ni. Pamhnam ksingki naküt naw mi pyen ngjaki. Pamhnam am ksingki naküt naw mi pyen am ngja. Acun he üng ni ngmüimkhya kcang ja hleikia ngmüimkhya cun ami hnganak mi jah yükhya thei kawm.
We are of God. He who knows God listens to us. He who is not of God does not listen to us. By this we know the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
7 Ka püi he aw, mhläkphyanak cun Pamhnam üngka naw lawkia kyase mat ja mat mi mhläkphya na vai u. Mhläkphyanak taeiki ta Pamhnama caa kya lü Pamhnam ksingki ni.
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God, and knows God.
8 Mhläkphyanak am taki naw ta Pamhnam am ksingki ni. Isetiüng, Pamhnam cun mhläkphyanak ni.
He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
9 Pamhnam naw a capa mat däk khawmdeka tüih law lü ani üngkhyüh naw xünnak mi yah vaia phäh a jah mhläkphyanak cun a mdan ni.
By this God's love was revealed in us, that God has sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.
10 Mhläkphyanak ti hin ta: Mimi naw Pamhnam mi mhläkphyanak am ni. Ani naw jah mhläkphya na lü mi mkhyekatnake mhlätnak vaia a Capa a tüih law ni.
In this is love, not that we have loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son as the atoning sacrifice for our sins.
11 Ka püi he aw, ahikba awnga Pamhnam naw a jah mhläkphyanak üng ta, mat ja mat mi mhläkphya na kawm.
Beloved, if God loved us in this way, we also ought to love one another.
12 U naw pi Pamhnam am hmu khawi. Cunüngpi, mat ja mat mi mhläkphyanak üng ta, Pamhnam mi k’uma xüng lü mhläkphyanak mimi üng kümsaki ni.
No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God remains in us, and his love has been perfected in us.
13 Pamhnam naw a Ngmüimkhya a jah peta phäh Pamhnam am mi xüng lü Pamhnam pi mimi üng xüngki ti mi ksingki.
By this we know that we remain in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.
14 Khawmdeka küikyan Bawipaa thawn khaia Pa naw a Capa a tüih law cun mi ksing lü mi saksikie ni.
We have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as the Savior of the world.
15 Jesuh cun Pamhnama Ca ni tia ng’aneiki naküt üng Pamhnam üng xüngki. Pamhnam pi ani üng xüngki.
Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God remains in him, and he in God.
16 Pamhnama a jah mhläkphyanak cun mi ksing lü mi jumeiki. Pamhnam cun mhläkphyanak ni. Mhläkphyanak üng xüngki cun Pamhnam am xüng lü Pamhnam pi ami khana xüngki.
We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.
17 Mhläkphyanak naw jah kümbesakia kyase, Ngthu mkhyanaka Mhnüp üng mi mkhüh üp khai. Isetiüng, hina khawmdek khana mi xünnak cun Khritawa xünnak am tängki.
In this love has been made perfect among us, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment, because as he is, even so are we in this world.
18 Mhläkphyanak üng kyüheinak am ve, kümbekia mhläkphyanak naw kyüheinak naküt ksätki. Kyüheikia khyang üng mhläkphyanak am kümbe. Isetiüng, mkhuimkhanak cun kyüheinak am sängeiki ni.
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.
19 Pamhnam naw a jah mhläkphyanak maa phäh mhläkphyanak mi taki ni.
We love, because he first loved us.
20 Pamhnam ka mhläkphya naki ti lü mi phäina mi hneng üng ta mi hleihlakia kyaki. Mi mik hmuha mi phäina am mi mhläkphyanaki naw ihawkba mik üng am hmuh theia Pamhnam cun mi mhläkphya na thei khai ni.
If anyone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom he has not seen.
21 Khritaw naw a jah pet ngthupet ta: ‘Pamhnam mhläkphyanaki naw a phäina mhläkphya na yah khai’ ahin ve ni.
This commandment we have from him, that he who loves God should also love his brother.
