< 1 Korintuh 4 >

1 Keimi hin, Khritaw a mpya ja Pamhnama khyü ngthup pyen khaia Pamhnam naw a jah tak tia jah ngai kawm uki.
Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.
2 Mpyaea phäh hlüki mat cun ami bawia vei sitih yah khaie.
Moreover, it is required in stewards that a man be found faithful.
3 Nghngicima ningsaw ja nangmia ngthumkhyah cun kei naw ia am ngai veng. Kamät naw pi kamät ngthu am mkhyahei veng.
But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you, or by man's judgment: yes, I judge not my own self.
4 Ka ngaihnak ngcim ve, acunsepi acun naw akcanga ka ngcimki tia am mdan. Ka khana ngthumkhyahki cun Bawipa amät ni.
For I know nothing against myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord.
5 Acunakyase, Bawipa kcün am pha ham üng u pi ngthu käh mkhya pet ua, akpäihnaka ngthumkhyahnak cun Bawipa a law veia k'äih kawm. Ani naw nghmüp üng thup naküte cun akvai da jah law püi khai, mlung üng jah ngaihe pi jah mdang law khai, acuna mhnüp üng, khyang naküt naw ami mäta kyanaka, Pamhnama veia mküi yahei law khaie.
Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord shall come, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise from God.
And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself, and [to] Apollos, for your sakes; that ye may learn in us not to think [of men] above that which is written, that no one of you on account of one, may be puffed up against another.
For who maketh thee to differ [from another]? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive [it], why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received [it]?
8 Nami hlüei naküt nami tapängki aw? Nami bawimang pängkie aw? Sangpuxangea nami kyaki aw? Keimi ta am kya veng u lüpi nangmi nami kya üngta a atänga sangpuxanga mi kya khaie.
Now ye are full, now ye are rich, ye have reigned as kings without us: and I wish ye did reign, that we also might reign with you.
9 Pamhnam naw keimi ngsä he cun khawmdek khyange ja khankhawngsä he hmuh vaia khyang ksunga akhnu säiha thi khaia a jah tak ni.
For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a spectacle to the world, and to angels, and to men.
10 Khritawa phäha kami angki lüpi nangmi khritaw üng nami thengvaikie, keimi kthangcek lü nami ngjuktha üng nami beki. Nangmi khyang naw ning jah mhlünmtai lü keimi khyang naw jah hmumsitki.
We [are] fools for Christ's sake, but ye [are] wise in Christ; we [are] weak, but ye [are] strong; ye [are] honorable, but we [are] despised.
11 Tuh vei cäpa, cawixainak üng kami citcawn hüki. Suisak kdaw am kami taki, kpainak pi kami khamki, pung naküta kami citcawn hüki.
Even to this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwelling-place;
12 Khüikhawm u ngüse kami suisaki, khyang naw a jah ksenak üng dawkyanak am kami kbeki; khyang naw a jah mkhuimkha üngka mi khameiki;
And labor, working with our own hands. Being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it;
13 ksekhanak kami kham üng akdawa kami jah msang beki. Khawmdeka phyawksak am kami tängeiki, tuhvei cäpa ia am kyakia kami veki.
Being defamed, we entreat: we are made as the filth of the world, the offscouring of all things to this day.
I write not these things to shame you, but as my beloved sons I warn [you].
15 Nami Khritjannak üng ning jah büktengki khawhah ve lü pi, pa mat däk nami taki. Nami veia thangkdaw ka lawpüi naw hina kcünsak üng Khritaw Jesuh üng nami yümmatkia kyase nami pa ka thawn lawki.
For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet [have ye] not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.
16 Nami na ngcuhngkihnak vaia ning jah nghui na veng.
Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me.
Ani naw khaw naküt üng sangcime veia ka jah mthei ja Jesuh Khritaw üng pum matnaka xünnak ning jah mtheh be khai.
For this cause have I sent to you Timothy, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who will bring you into remembrance of my ways which are in Christ, as I teach every where in every church.
Now some are puffed up, as though I would not come to you.
19 Acunsepi, Bawipa naw, a ngjak'hlü ta, akjanga nami veia ka law khai; acunüng ami pyen däk am kya lü ka phäha nangmi üngka johit pi ka hmuh law khai.
But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will, and will know, not the speech of them who are puffed up, but the power.
20 Pamhnama khyawngpe cun ngthu am kya, johita ni a kyak.
For the kingdom of God [is] not in word, but in power.
What will ye? shall I come to you with a rod, or in love, and [in] the spirit of meekness?
