1 Ka püie, Mosia hnu läkie mi pupae ia kya khawikie ti cun nami süm vai hlüei veng. Amimi cun khawngmei naw jah ksung lü Mpanglaisen pi phyawn lü khekhamkie ni.
Brethren I wolde not that ye shuld be ignoraunt of this how yt oure fathers were all vnder a cloude and all passed thorow the see
2 Mosia hnu ami läka kba ami van khawngmei ja tui üng baptican khamkie.
and were all baptised vnder Moses in the cloude and in the see:
3 Avan naw Ngmüimkhya ei atänga ei u lü,
and dyd all eate of one spirituall meate
4 ami van naw Ngmüimkhya tui awki he ni; jah ngkhahpüikia Ngmüimkhya Lung üngka tüi awki he; acuna Lung cun Khritaw amät kung ni.
and did all drincke of one maner of spirituall drincke. And they dranke of that spretuall rocke that folowed them which rocke was Christ.
5 Acunsepi, avangea khana Pamhnam am je se, khawkhyawng khawa thi u lü ami pumsa khyük päihki.
But in many of them had god no delite. For they were overthrowen in the wildernes.
6 Ahine hin mimi phäha msuimcäpnak ni, amimia bilawha kba am dawki käh bilawh vaia sitih jah peki,
These are ensamples to vs that we shuld not lust after evyll thinges as they lusted

Nether be ye worshippers of Images as were some of them accordynge as it is written: The people sate doune to eate and drynke and rose vp agayne to playe.
8 Avang he ami mkhyea kba käh mi mkhye khaie, mhnüp mat üng khyang tawng nghngih jah thawng kthum ami thiha mäiha käh mi ve vai u.

Nether let vs tempte Christ as some of them tempted and were destroyed of serpentes.
10 Avang he putcit u se thihnaka Ngsä naw a jah hnima mäiha käh mi ve vai u.
Nether murmure ye as some of them murmured and were destroyed of ye destroyer
11 Ahine cun akceea phäha msuimcäpnak vaia phäha ami veia kya lawki, cunsepi mimi phäha cingnak vaia ng’yuki ni. Mimi cun apäihnak law hlü hnüha kcün üng mi vekie ni. (aiōn g165)
All these thinges happened vnto them for ensamples and were written to put vs in remembraunce whom the endes of the worlde are come apon. (aiōn g165)
12 Khängkia nami ngdüikia nami ngaih üng käh nami kyuk vaia mcei ua.
Wherfore let hym that thynketh he stodeth take hede least he fall.
13 Nghngicima khamei thei hlawhlepnak ni nami khamei ta. Pamhnam a khyü mäki kyase, am nami khamei thei vaia hlawhlepnak nami khana am pha lawsak. Nami khameinak thei vaia hlawhlepnak üngka naw lätnak vaia lam pi ning pawh pet khai.
There hath none other temptacion taken you but soche as foloweth ye nature of ma. But God is faythfull which shall not suffer you to be tempted above youre strenght: but shall in the myddes of the temptacion make awaye to escape out.
14 Acunakyase, ka mhlänake aw, juktuh sawhkhahnak cun jeih ua.
Wherfore my deare beloued fle from worshippynge of ydols.
15 Khyang kthemea jah mtheha kba ning jah mtheh veng, i ka pyen ti cun ksing ua.
I speake as vnto them which have discrecion Iudge ye what I saye.
16 Bawipa Müeinaka Pamhnama veia jenak mi mtheh üng mi summangeia khawt: acuna khawt mi awk üng, Khritawa thisen mi awyümki, muk mi bo mi ei üng Khritawa pumsa mi yümeiki.
Ys not the cuppe of blessinge which we blesse partakynge of ye bloude of Christ? ys not the breed which we breake partetakynge of the body of Christ?
17 Khyang khawjaha mi kyase pi, muk mat mi eiyüm üng pumsa mata mi kya lawki.
because that we (though we be many) yet are one breed and one bodye in as moch as we all are partetakers of one breed.
18 Isarel khyange jah teng süm u; Pamhnam üng ami peta ngkengnaka sa eikie cun naw phyawnkunga bilo yümkiea kyaki ni.
Beholde Israhell which walketh carnally. Are not they which eate of the sacrifyse partetakers of the aultre?
19 Juktuha veia peta eiawk ja juktuh cun iyawa kya ve ka tiki aw?
What saye I then? that the ymage is eny thinge? or that it which is offered to ymages is eny thinge?
20 Ka! juktuha veia peta ngkengtainak cun Pamhnama veia peta am kya lü, khawyaiea veia peta ni akya ve, ka tiki ni. Khawyaia püipawa nami kya vai am hlüei veng.
Nay but I saye that those thinges which the gentyle offer they offer to devyls and not to god. And I wolde not that ye shuld have fellishippe with ye devils
21 Bawipa khawt ja khawyaia khawt atänga am aw thei u ti; Bawipa kbe ja khawyaia kbe atänga am jah ei thei u ki.
Ye canot drincke of the cup of the lorde and of yt cup of ye deuyls. Ye cnanot be partetakers of the lordes table and of the table of deuelles.
22 Am ani üng, Bawipa mlung mi setsak khai aw? Mimi hin Bawipa kthaka mi kyan bawki aw?
Ether shall we provoke the lorde? Or are we stronger then he? All thynges are laufull vnto me but all thynges are not expedient.
23 “Avan pawh vaia nglawiki,” ami ti. Acun cun cang ve, cunsepi avan hin am daw. “Mimi cun avan mi pawh theiki” cunsepi avan cun mi phäha dawkia am kya.
All thynges are lawfull to me but all thinges edifye not.
24 Nami hlüei käh sui u lü khyang kcea hlüei sui ua.
Let no man seke his awne proffet: but let every man seke anothers welthe.
25 Meh ami Jawihtuknaka ami jawih naküt mät ksingeinaka üng käh ngthäh u lü nami ei üng yahki.
What soever is solde in the market that eate and axe no questions for conscience sake
26 Cangcim naw, “Khawmdek jah khana vekie naküt cun Bawipa kaa kyakie ni,” tia pyenki.
For the erth is the lordis and all that therein is.
27 Am jumeiki naw buh na ei khaia a ning khüei üng, mät ksingeinak üng käh ngthäh lü a ning mbei naküt na ei sawxat vai.
Yf eny of them which beleve not bid you to a feest and yf ye be disposed to goo what soever is seet before you: eate axinge no question for conscience sake.
28 Khyang mat naw “Hin hin juktuh hjawkhanaka eiawk ni,” a ti üng, ning mthehkia phäha ja ksingeinaka phäh käh eia.
But and yf eny man saye vnto you: this is dedicate vnto ydols eate not of it for his sake that shewed it and for hurtynge of conscience.
29 Acun cun nanga ksingeinak am ni lü, khyang kcea ksingeinaka phäha kyaki. “Acunüng dawki,” Khyang mat naw, “Ise khyang kcea ksingeinak naw ka lätnak cun na khyawh pe khai ni? ti lü a ning kthäh üng,
Conscience I saye not thyne: but the coscieuce of that other. For why shuld my liberte be iudged of another manes conscience:
30 Ka eiawka phäha Pamhnama veia jenak ka pyen üng, ivai acuna eia phäh khyange naw na mseteikie ni?
For yf I take my parte with thakes: why am I evell spoken of for that thynge wherfore I geve thankes.
31 Daw ve, a i nami pawh üng pi, nami ei üng pi kyase, nami awk üng pi kyase Pamhnama hlüngtainak vaia avan pawh ua.
Whether therfore ye eate or dryncke or what soever ye do do all to the prayse of God.
32 Judahea pi kyase, Krikea pi kyase, Pamhnama sangcima pi kyase am nami jah kyukngtäsak vaia xüngsei ua.
Se that ye geve occasion of evell nether to ye Iewes nor yet to the gentyls nether to ye cogregacion of god:
33 Ka bilawh naküt üng khyang ka jesak vaia ktha na lü ami lät vaia phäh ja ami daw vai cun ngai lü, kamäta dawnak vai am sui veng.
euen as I please all men in all thinges not sekynge myne awne proffet but the proffet of many that they myght be saved. Folowe me as I do Christ.
