1 Iwe namwali waufumu, mapazi ako ngokongola mu nsapato wavalazo! Ntchafu zako nʼzowumbika bwino ngati miyala yamtengowapatali, ntchito ya manja ya mmisiri waluso.
How beautiful are thy feet with shoes, O prince’s daughter! the joints of thy thighs [are] like jewels, the work of the hands of a cunning workman.
2 Mchombo wako uli ngati chikho chowumbika bwino chimene nthawi zonse ndi chodzaza ndi vinyo. Chiwuno chako ndi choningʼa ngati mtolo wa tirigu utazunguliridwa ndi maluwa okongola.
Thy navel [is like] a round goblet, [which] wanteth not liquor: thy belly [is like] an heap of wheat set about with lilies.
3 Mawere ako akuoneka ngati ana awiri a mbawala, ngati mphoyo zamapasa.
Thy two breasts [are] like two young roes [that are] twins.
4 Khosi lako lili see! ngati nsanja ya mnyanga wa njovu. Maso ako ali ngati mayiwe a ku Hesiboni, amene ali pafupi ndi chipata cha Bati Rabimu. Mphuno yako ili ngati nsanja ya ku Lebanoni, yoyangʼana ku Damasiko.
Thy neck [is] as a tower of ivory; thine eyes [like] the fishpools in Heshbon, by the gate of Bath-rabbim: thy nose [is] as the tower of Lebanon which looketh toward Damascus.
5 Mutu wako uli bwinobwino nengʼaa ngati phiri la Karimeli. Tsitsi lako lili ngati nsalu yakuda yaufumu; mfumu yakopeka ndi maonekedwe ake okongola.
Thine head upon thee [is] like Carmel, and the hair of thine head like purple; the king [is] held in the galleries.
6 Ndiwe wokongola kwambiri ndiponso wosangalatsa, iwe wokondedwa, namwali wokondweretsawe!
How fair and how pleasant art thou, O love, for delights!
7 Msinkhu wako uli ngati mtengo wa mgwalangwa, ndipo mawere ako ali ngati phava la zipatso.
This thy stature is like to a palm tree, and thy breasts to clusters [of grapes].
8 Ndinati, “Ndikwera mtengo wa mgwalangwa; ndidzathyola zipatso zake.” Mawere ako ali ngati maphava a mphesa, fungo la mpweya wako lili ngati ma apulosi,
I said, I will go up to the palm tree, I will take hold of the boughs thereof: now also thy breasts shall be as clusters of the vine, and the smell of thy nose like apples;
9 ndipo pakamwa pako pali ngati vinyo wokoma kwambiri. Mkazi Tsono vinyo ameneyu amuthirire wachikondi wanga, ayenderere bwino pa milomo yake ndi mano ake.
And the roof of thy mouth like the best wine for my beloved, that goeth [down] sweetly, causing the lips of those that are asleep to speak.
10 Wokondedwayo ine ndine wake, ndipo chilakolako chake chili pa ine.
I [am] my beloved’s, and his desire [is] toward me.
11 Bwera wachikondi wanga, tiye tipite ku madera a ku midzi, tikagone ku midzi.
Come, my beloved, let us go forth into the field; let us lodge in the villages.
12 Tiye tilawirire mmamawa kupita ku minda ya mpesa, tikaone ngati mitengo ya mpesa yayamba kuphukira, ngati maluwa ake ayamba kuoneka, komanso ngati makangadza ayamba kuonetsa maluwa. Kumeneko ndidzakuonetsa chikondi changa.
Let us get up early to the vineyards; let us see if the vine flourish, [whether] the tender grape appear, [and] the pomegranates bud forth: there will I give thee my loves.
13 Mitengo ya mankhwala a chisulo ikupereka fungo lake labwino, ndipo pa khomo pathu pali zipatso zonse zokoma, zatsopano ndi zakale zomwe, zimene ndakusungira wokondedwa wanga.
The mandrakes give a smell, and at our gates [are] all manner of pleasant [fruits], new and old, [which] I have laid up for thee, O my beloved.
