< Chivumbulutso 13 >

1 Kenaka ndinaona chinjokacho chitayima mʼmbali mwa nyanja. Ndipo ndinaona chirombo chikutuluka mʼnyanja. Chinali ndi nyanga khumi ndi mitu isanu ndi iwiri. Pa nyanga iliyonse chinavala chipewa chaufumu, ndipo pa mutu uliwonse panali dzina lonyoza Mulungu.
Then I stood on the sand of the sea. And I saw a beast coming up out of the sea that had ten horns and seven heads, with ten diadems on his horns and blasphemous names on his heads.
2 Chirombo chimene ndinachionacho chinali ngati kambuku, mapazi ake ngati chimbalangondo, kukamwa kwake ngati kwa mkango. Chinjoka chija chinapatsa chirombocho mphamvu zake, mpando wake waufumu ndiponso ulamuliro waukulu.
The beast I saw was like a leopard; his feet were like those of a bear, and his mouth was like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave the beast his power, his throne, and great authority.
3 Umodzi wa mitu wa chirombocho unkaoneka ngati uli ndi bala losati nʼkupola, koma nʼkuti balalo litapola. Dziko lonse linadabwa ndipo linatsatira chirombocho.
One of the beast's heads appeared to be mortally wounded. But his mortal wound had been healed, and the whole world was amazed and followed the beast.
4 Anthu anapembedza chinjoka chija chifukwa chinapereka ulamuliro wake kwa chirombocho. Nachonso chirombo chija anachipembedza nʼkumafunsa kuti, “Ndani angafanane ndi chirombochi? Ndani angachite nacho nkhondo?”
They worshiped the dragon that had given his authority to the beast, and they also worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast, and who can wage war against him?”
5 Chirombo chija chinaloledwa kuyankhula mawu onyada ndi achipongwe kwa Mulungu. Chinapatsidwa mphamvu zolamulira pa miyezi 42.
The beast was given a mouth to utter great boasts and blasphemy, and he was given authority to wage war for forty-two months.
6 Ndipo chinayamba kuyankhula mawu achipongwe onyoza Mulungu, dzina lake, malo okhalamo ndi onse amene amakhala kumwamba.
And he opened his mouth to utter blasphemy against God and to slander his name and his tabernacle, that is, those who dwell in heaven.
7 Chinaloledwa kuchita nkhondo ndi oyera mtima ndi kuwagonjetsa. Ndipo chinapatsidwanso mphamvu zolamulira anthu a fuko lililonse, mtundu uliwonse ndi chiyankhulo chilichonse.
He was permitted to wage war against the saints and conquer them, and he was given authority over every tribe, people, tongue, and nation.
8 Anthu onse okhala pa dziko lapansi adzapembedza chirombocho, aliyense amene chilengedwere cha dziko lapansi dzina lake silinalembedwe mʼbuku la amoyo la Mwana Wankhosa anaphedwa uja.
All who dwell on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slain.
9 Iye amene ali ndi makutu, amve.
If anyone has an ear, let him hear:
10 “Woyenera kupita ku ukapolo, adzapita ku ukapolo. Woyenera kufa ndi lupanga, adzafa ndi lupanga.” Pamenepa kwa anthu a Mulungu pakufunika kupirira ndi kukhulupirika.
“If anyone has captivity as his lot, away he goes; if anyone kills with the sword, with the sword he must be killed.” This calls for the endurance and the faith of the saints.
11 Kenaka ndinaona chirombo china chikutuluka mʼnthaka. Chinali ndi nyanga ziwiri ngati mwana wankhosa koma kuyankhula kwake ngati chinjoka.
Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth. He had two horns like a lamb, but he spoke like a dragon.
12 Chinalamulira ndi mphamvu zonse za chirombo choyamba chija, ndipo chinachititsa kuti dziko lapansi ndi anthu okhalamo alambire chirombo choyamba chija, chimene bala lake losati nʼkupola linali litapola.
He exercised all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and made the earth and those who dwell in it worship the first beast, whose mortal wound had been healed.
13 Ndipo chinachita zizindikiro zazikulu zodabwitsa, mpaka kumagwetsa moto pa dziko lapansi kuchokera kumwamba anthu akuona.
He performed great signs, even making fire come down from heaven to earth in the presence of the people.
14 Chifukwa cha zizindikiro zimene chinaloledwa kuchita mʼmalo mwa chirombo choyamba chija, chimene bala lake linapola, chinanyenga anthu okhala pa dziko lapansi. Chinalamula anthu kuti apange fano mopereka ulemu kwa chirombo chimene chinavulazidwa ndi lupanga, koma nʼkukhalabe ndi moyo.
By the signs he was permitted to do in the presence of the first beast, he deceived my own people who dwell on the earth, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image of the first beast, who had the wound from the sword but still lived.
15 Chirombo cha chiwirichi chinapatsidwa mphamvu zakupereka mpweya kwa fano la chirombo choyamba chija kuti liyankhule ndi kuphetsa aliyense wokana kupembedza fanolo.
The second beast was permitted to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause whoever refused to worship the image to be killed.
16 Chinakakamiza aliyense, wamngʼono, wamkulu, wolemera, wosauka, mfulu ndi kapolo kuti alembedwe chizindikiro pa dzanja lamanja kapena pa mphumi.
The second beast required everyone, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their forehead,
17 Chinkachita zimenezi kuti wina aliyense asaloledwe kugula kapena kugulitsa kanthu ngati alibe chizindikiro chimenechi, chimene ndi dzina la chirombocho kapena nambala yotanthauza dzina lake.
so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of his name.
18 Pano pafunika nzeru. Munthu amene ali ndi nzeru atanthauze nambala ya chirombocho, pakuti nambalayo ikutanthauza munthu. Nambala yake ndi 666.
This calls for wisdom: Let anyone who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man; his number is six hundred sixty-six.
