< Masalimo 95 >
1 Bwerani, tiyeni timuyimbire Yehova mwachimwemwe, tiyeni tifuwule kwa Thanthwe la chipulumutso chathu
O come, let us sing unto the LORD; let us shout for joy to the Rock of our salvation.
2 Tiyeni tibwere pamaso pake ndi chiyamiko ndipo mupembedzeni Iyeyo ndi zida zoyimbira ndi nyimbo.
Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving, let us shout for joy unto Him with psalms.
3 Pakuti Yehova ndi Mulungu wamkulu, mfumu yayikulu pamwamba pa milungu yonse.
For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods;
4 Mʼmanja mwake muli maziko ozama a dziko lapansi, ndipo msonga za mapiri ndi zake.
In whose hand are the depths of the earth; the heights of the mountains are His also.
5 Nyanja ndi yake, pakuti anayilenga ndi Iye, ndipo manja ake anawumba mtunda wowuma.
The sea is His, and He made it; and His hands formed the dry land.
6 Bwerani, tiyeni tiwerame pomulambira, tiyeni tigwade pamaso pa Yehova Mlengi wathu;
O come, let us bow down and bend the knee; let us kneel before the LORD our Maker;
7 pakuti Iye ndiye Mulungu wathu ndipo ife ndife anthu a pabusa pake, ndi nkhosa za mʼdzanja lake. Lero ngati inu mumva mawu ake,
For He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture, and the flock of His hand. To-day, if ye would but hearken to His voice!
8 musawumitse mitima yanu monga momwe munachitira pa Meriba, monga munachitira tsiku lija pa Masa mʼchipululu.
'Harden not your heart, as at Meribah, as in the day of Massah in the wilderness;
9 Kumene makolo anu anandiyesa ndi kundiputa, ngakhale anaona zimene Ine ndinazichita.
When your fathers tried Me, proved Me, even though they saw My work.
10 Kwa zaka makumi anayi ndinali wokwiya ndi mʼbado umenewo; ndipo ndinati, “Iwo ndi anthu amene mitima yawo imasochera ndipo sanadziwe njira zanga.”
For forty years was I wearied with that generation, and said: It is a people that do err in their heart, and they have not known My ways;
11 Choncho ndili chikwiyire, ndinalumbira kuti, “Iwowa sadzalowa ku malo anga a mpumulo.”
Wherefore I swore in My wrath, that they should not enter into My rest.'
