< Masalimo 77 >
1 Kwa mtsogoleri wa mayimbidwe. Potsata mayimbidwe a Yedutuni. Salimo la Asafu. Ndinafuwulira Mulungu kupempha thandizo; ndinafuwula mokweza kwa Mulungu kuti anditcherere khutu.
My cry goes to God! Indeed, I cry to God for help, and for him to listen to me.
2 Pamene ndinali pa masautso ndinafunafuna Ambuye; usiku ndinatambasula manja mosalekeza ndipo moyo wanga unakana kutonthozedwa.
In the day of my trouble I sought 'Adonay [Lord]. My hand was stretched out in the night, and didn’t get tired. My soul refused to be comforted.
3 Ndinakumbukira Inu Mulungu, ndipo ndinabuwula; ndinasinkhasinkha ndipo mzimu wanga unalefuka. (Sela)
I remember God, and I groan. I complain, and my spirit is overwhelmed. (Selah) ·contemplation with musical interlude·.
4 Munagwira zikope zanga kuti ndisagone ndipo ndinavutika kwambiri kuti ndiyankhule.
You hold my eyelids open. I am so troubled that I can’t speak.
5 Ndinaganizira za masiku akale, zaka zamakedzana;
I have considered the days of old, the years of ancient times.
6 Ndinakumbukira nyimbo zanga usiku. Mtima wanga unasinkhasinkha ndipo mzimu wanga unafunsa kuti,
I remember my song in the night. I consider in my own heart; my spirit diligently inquires:
7 “Kodi Ambuye adzatikana mpaka muyaya? Kodi Iwo sadzaonetsanso kukoma mtima kwawo?
“Will 'Adonay [Lord] reject us forever? Will he be favorable no more?
8 Kodi Chikondi chake chosatha chija chatheratu? Kodi malonjezo ake alephera nthawi yonse?
Has his chesed ·loving-kindness· vanished forever? Does his promise fail for generations?
9 Kodi Mulungu wayiwala kukhala wokoma mtima? Kodi mu mkwiyo wake waleka chifundo chake?”
Has God forgotten to be gracious? Has he, in anger, withheld his rachamim ·compassionate loves·?” (Selah) ·contemplation with musical interlude·.
10 Ndipo ndinaganiza, “Pa izi ine ndidzapemphanso: zaka za dzanja lamanja la Wammwambamwamba.
Then I thought, “I will appeal to this: the years of the right hand of haElyon [the Most High].”
11 Ine ndidzakumbukira ntchito za Yehova; Ine ndidzakumbukira zodabwitsa zanu za kalekale.
I will remember Yah’s deeds; for I will remember your wonders of old.
12 Ndidzakumbukira ntchito zanu ndi kulingalira zodabwitsa zanu.”
I will also meditate on all your work, and consider your doings.
13 Njira zanu Mulungu ndi zoyera. Kodi ndi mulungu uti ali wamkulu kuposa Mulungu wathu?
Your way, God, is in the sanctuary. What deity is great like God?
14 Inu ndinu Mulungu wochita zodabwitsa; Mumaonetsera mphamvu yanu pakati pa mitundu ya anthu.
You are the God who does wonders. You have made your strength known among the peoples.

You have redeemed your people with your arm, the sons of Jacob [Supplanter] and Joseph [May he add]. (Selah) ·contemplation with musical interlude·.
16 Madzi anakuonani Mulungu, madzi anakuonani ndipo anachita mantha; nyanja yozama inakomoka.
The waters saw you, God. The waters saw you, and they writhed. The depths also convulsed.
17 Mitambo inakhuthula madzi ake pansi, mu mlengalenga munamveka mabingu; mivi yanu inawuluka uku ndi uku.
The clouds poured out water. The skies resounded with thunder. Your arrows also flashed around.
18 Bingu lanu linamveka mʼmphepo ya kamvuluvulu, mphenzi yanu inawalitsa dziko lonse; dziko lapansi linanjenjemera ndi kugwedezeka.
The voice of your thunder was in the whirlwind. The lightnings lit up the world. The earth trembled and shook.
19 Njira yanu inadutsa pa nyanja, njira yanu inadutsa pa madzi amphamvu, ngakhale zidindo za mapazi anu sizinaoneke.
Your way was through the sea; your paths through the great waters. Your footsteps were not known.
20 Inu munatsogolera anthu anu ngati gulu la nkhosa mwa dzanja la Mose ndi Aaroni.
You led your people like a flock, by the hand of Moses [Drawn out] and Aaron [Light-bringer].
