1 Kwa mtsogoleri wa mayimbidwe. Kutsata mayimbidwe a Yedutuni. Salimo la Davide. Moyo wanga umapeza mpumulo mwa Mulungu yekha; chipulumutso changa chimachokera kwa Iye.
My soul rests in God alone. My yishu'ah ·salvation· comes from him.
2 Iye yekhayo ndiye thanthwe langa ndi chipulumutso changa; Iye ndi linga langa, choncho sindidzagwedezeka.
He alone is my rock and my yishu'ah ·salvation·, my fortress— I will never be greatly shaken.
3 Kodi nonsenu mudzalimbana naye munthu mpaka liti? Kodi mudzamugwetsa pansi ngati khoma losalimba, ngati mpanda wogwedezeka?
How long will you assault a man, would all of you throw him down, Like a leaning wall, like a tottering fence?
4 Iwo akufunitsitsa kumugwetsa kuti achoke pa malo ake apamwamba. Iwo amakondweretsedwa ndi mabodza. Ndi pakamwa pawo amadalitsa koma mʼmitima yawo amatemberera.
They fully intend to throw him down from his lofty place. They delight in lies. They bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. (Selah) ·contemplation with musical interlude·.
5 Peza mpumulo mwa Mulungu yekhayo iwe moyo wanga; chiyembekezo changa chichokera mwa Iye.

7 Chipulumutso changa ndi ulemu wanga zimachokera kwa Mulungu: Iye ndiye thanthwe langa lamphamvu; Mulungu ndiye pothawira panga.
With God is my yesha' ·salvation· and my kavod ·weighty glory·. The rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
8 Dalirani Iye nthawi zonse, inu anthu; khuthulani mitima yanu kwa Iye, pakuti Mulungu ndiye pothawirapo pathu. (Sela)
Trust in him at all times, you people. Pour out your heart before him. God is a refuge for us. (Selah) ·contemplation with musical interlude·.
9 Anthu wamba ndi mpweya chabe; anthu apamwamba ndi bodza chabe; ngati atayezedwa pa sikelo iwo ndi chabe; iwowo pamodzi ndi mpweya ndi chabe
Surely men of low degree are just a breath, and men of high degree are a lie. In the balances they will go up. They are together lighter than a breath.
10 Musadalire kulanda mwachinyengo kapena katundu wobedwa; ngakhale chuma chanu chichuluke, musayike mtima wanu pa icho.
Don’t trust in oppression. Don’t become vain in robbery. If riches increase, don’t set your heart on them.
11 Mulungu wayankhula kamodzi, ine ndamvapo zinthu ziwiri; choyamba nʼchakuti Inu Mulungu ndinu wamphamvu,
God has spoken once; twice I have sh'ma ·heard obeyed· this, that power belongs to God.
