Masalimo 57
1 Kwa mtsogoleri wa mayimbidwe. Potsata mayimbidwe a “Musawononge.” Ndakatulo ya Davide, pamene anathawa Sauli kupita ku phanga. Mundichitire chifundo, Inu Mulungu mundichitire chifundo, pakuti mwa Inu moyo wanga umathawiramo. Ndidzathawira mu mthunzi wa mapiko anu mpaka chiwonongeko chitapita.
To the chief Musician, Al-taschith, Michtam of David, when he fled from Saul in the cave. Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me: for my soul trusteth in thee: yes, in the shadow of thy wings will I make my refuge, until [these] calamities are overpast.
2 Ine ndikufuwulira kwa Mulungu Wammwambamwamba, kwa Mulungu amene amakwaniritsa cholinga chake pa ine.
I will cry to God most high; to God that performeth [all things] for me.
3 Mulungu amanditumizira kuchokera kumwamba ndi kundipulumutsa, kudzudzula iwo amene akundithamangitsa kwambiri. Mulungu amatumiza chikondi chake ndi kukhulupirika kwake.
He shall send from heaven, and save me [from] the reproach of him that would swallow me up. (Selah) God shall send forth his mercy and his truth.
4 Ine ndili pakati pa mikango, ndagona pakati pa zirombo zolusa; anthu amene mano awo ndi milomo yawo ndi mivi, malilime awo ndi malupanga akuthwa.
My soul [is] among lions: [and] I lie [even among] them that are set on fire, [even] the sons of men, whose teeth [are] spears and arrows, and their tongue a sharp sword.
5 Mukwezekedwe Inu Mulungu, kuposa mayiko onse akumwamba; mulole kuti ulemerero wanu ukhale pa dziko lonse lapansi.
Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens; [let] thy glory [be] above all the earth.
6 Iwo anatchera mapazi anga ukonde ndipo ndinawerama pansi mosautsidwa. Anakumba dzenje mʼnjira yanga koma agweramo okha mʼmenemo.
They have prepared a net for my steps; my soul is bowed down: they have digged a pit before me, into the midst of which they have fallen [themselves]. (Selah)
7 Mtima wanga ndi wokhazikika, Inu Mulungu mtima wanga ndi wokhazikika. Ndidzayimba nyimbo, nyimbo yake yamatamando.
My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise.
8 Dzuka moyo wanga! Dzukani zeze ndi pangwe! Ndidzadzuka mʼbandakucha.
Awake, my glory; awake, psaltery and harp: I [myself] will awake early.
9 Ndidzakutamandani Ambuye, pakati pa mitundu ya anthu, ndidzayimba za Inu pakati pa mayiko.
I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: I will sing to thee among the nations.
10 Pakuti chikondi chanu nʼchachikulu, kufikira ku mayiko akumwamba; kukhulupirika kwanu kwafika ku mitambo.
For thy mercy [is] great to the heavens, and thy truth to the clouds.
11 Mukwezekedwe Inu Mulungu kuposa mayiko akumwamba, mulole kuti ulemerero wanu ukhale pa dziko lonse lapansi.
Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: [let] thy glory [be] above all the earth.
