1 Salimo la Asafu. Wamphamvuyo, Yehova Mulungu, akuyankhula ndi kuyitanitsa dziko lapansi kuyambira kotulukira dzuwa mpaka kumene limalowera.
A Psalm by Asaph. The Mighty One, God, Yahweh, speaks, and calls the earth from sunrise to sunset.
2 Kuchokera ku Ziyoni, mokongola kwambiri Mulungu akuwala.
Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines out.
3 Mulungu wathu akubwera ndipo sadzakhala chete; moto ukunyeketsa patsogolo pake, ndipo pomuzungulira pali mphepo yamkuntho
Our God comes, and does not keep silent. A fire devours before him. It is very stormy around him.
4 Iye akuyitanitsa zamumlengalenga ndi za pa dziko lapansi kuti aweruze anthu ake.
He calls to the heavens above, to the earth, that he may judge his people:
5 Mundisonkhanitsire okhulupirika anga, amene anachita pangano ndi ine pochita nsembe.
“Gather my saints together to me, those who have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.”
6 Ndipo mayiko akumwamba akulengeza chilungamo chake, pakuti Mulungu mwini ndi woweruza.
The heavens shall declare his righteousness, for God himself is judge. (Selah)
7 Imvani inu anthu anga, ndipo Ine ndidzayankhula, iwe Israeli, ndipo Ine ndidzayankhula mokutsutsa; ndine Mulungu, Mulungu wako.
“Hear, my people, and I will speak. Israel, I will testify against you. I am God, your God.
8 Sindikudzudzula chifukwa cha nsembe zako, kapena nsembe zako zopsereza zimene zili pamaso panga nthawi zonse.
I don’t rebuke you for your sacrifices. Your burnt offerings are continually before me.
9 Ine sindikufuna ngʼombe yayimuna kuchokera mʼkhola lako kapena mbuzi za mʼkhola lako,
I have no need for a bull from your stall, nor male goats from your pens.
10 pakuti nyama iliyonse yakunkhalango ndi yanga ndiponso ngʼombe za ku mapiri ochuluka.
For every animal of the forest is mine, and the livestock on a thousand hills.
11 Ine ndimadziwa mbalame iliyonse mʼmapiri ndiponso zolengedwa zonse zakutchire ndi zanga.
I know all the birds of the mountains. The wild animals of the field are mine.
12 Ndikanakhala ndi njala sindikanakuwuzani, pakuti dziko lonse ndi zonse zimene zili mʼmenemo ndi zanga.
If I were hungry, I would not tell you, for the world is mine, and all that is in it.
13 Kodi ndimadya nyama ya ngʼombe zazimuna kapena kumwa magazi a mbuzi?
Will I eat the meat of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?
14 “Pereka nsembe zachiyamiko kwa Mulungu, kwaniritsa malonjezo ako kwa Wammwambamwamba.
Offer to God the sacrifice of thanksgiving. Pay your vows to the Most High.
15 Ndipo undiyitane pa tsiku lako la masautso; Ine ndidzakulanditsa, ndipo udzandilemekeza.”
Call on me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you, and you will honor me.”
16 Koma kwa woyipa, Mulungu akuti, “Kodi uli ndi mphamvu yanji kuti uzinena malamulo anga kapena kutenga pangano langa pa milomo yako?
But to the wicked God says, “What right do you have to declare my statutes, that you have taken my covenant on your lips,
17 Iwe umadana ndi malangizo anga ndipo umaponyera kumbuyo kwako mawu anga.
since you hate instruction, and throw my words behind you?
18 Ukaona wakuba umamutsatira, umachita maere ako pamodzi ndi achigololo
When you saw a thief, you consented with him, and have participated with adulterers.
19 Umagwiritsa ntchito pakamwa pako pa zinthu zoyipa ndipo umakonza lilime lako kuchita chinyengo.
“You give your mouth to evil. Your tongue frames deceit.
20 Nthawi zonse umayankhula motsutsana ndi mʼbale wako ndipo umasinjirira mwana wa amayi ako enieni.
You sit and speak against your brother. You slander your own mother’s son.
21 Wachita zimenezi ndipo Ine ndinali chete; umaganiza kuti ndine wofanana nawe koma ndidzakudzudzula ndipo ndidzakutsutsa pamaso pako.
You have done these things, and I kept silent. You thought that I was just like you. I will rebuke you, and accuse you in front of your eyes.
22 “Ganizira izi, iwe amene umayiwala Mulungu kuti ndingakukadzule popanda wokupulumutsa:
“Now consider this, you who forget God, lest I tear you into pieces, and there be no one to deliver.
23 Iye amene amapereka nsembe yamayamiko amandilemekeza, ndipo amakonza njira zake kuti ndimuonetse chipulumutso cha Mulungu.”
Whoever offers the sacrifice of thanksgiving glorifies me, and prepares his way so that I will show God’s salvation to him.”
