1 Kwa mtsogoleri wamayimbidwe. Monga mwa mayimbidwe a “Maluwa a Kakombo.” Salimo la ana a Kora. Nyimbo ya pa ukwati. Mtima wanga watakasika ndi nkhani yokoma pamene ndikulakatula mawu anga kwa mfumu; lilime langa ndi cholembera cha wolemba waluso.
“To the chief musician upon Shoshannim, by the sons of Korach, a Maskil, a song of love.” My heart swelleth with a good speech; I say, “My works shall be for the king:” my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
2 Inu ndinu abwino kwambiri kuposa anthu onse ndipo milomo yanu inadzozedwa ndi chikondi cha Mulungu chosasinthika, popeza Mulungu wakudalitsani kwamuyaya.
Thou art more fair than the children of men; grace is poured out over thy lips: therefore hath God blessed thee for ever.
3 Mangirirani lupanga lanu mʼchiwuno mwanu, inu munthu wamphamvu; mudziveke nokha ndi ulemerero ndi ukulu wanu.
Gird thy sword upon the thigh, O mighty one, [it is] thy glory and thy majesty;
4 Mu ukulu wanu mupite mutakwera mwachigonjetso mʼmalo mwa choonadi, kudzichepetsa ndi chilungamo; dzanja lanu lamanja lionetsere ntchito zanu zoopsa.
Yea, it is thy majesty: be prosperous, ride along for the cause of truth and meekness and righteousness; and fearful things shall thy right hand teach thee.
5 Mivi yanu yakuthwa ilase mitima ya adani a mfumu, mitundu ya anthu igwe pansi pa mapazi anu.
Thy sharpened arrows—people will fall down beneath thee—[will enter] into the heart of the king's enemies.
6 Mpando wanu waufumu, Inu Mulungu, udzakhala ku nthawi za nthawi; ndodo yaufumu yachilungamo idzakhala ndodo yaufumu ya ufumu wanu.
Thy throne, given of God, endureth for ever and ever: the sceptre of equity is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
7 Inu mumakonda chilungamo ndi kudana ndi zoyipa; choncho Mulungu, Mulungu wanu, wakukhazikani pamwamba pa anzanu pokudzozani ndi mafuta a chimwemwe.
Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore hath God, thy God, anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy associates.
8 Mikanjo yanu yonse ndi yonunkhira ndi mure ndi aloe ndi kasiya; kuchokera ku nyumba zaufumu zokongoletsedwa ndi mnyanga wanjovu nyimbo za zoyimbira zazingwe zimakusangalatsani.
Of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia are [fragrant] all thy garments: out of palaces of ivory have they made thee joyful with the sound of music.
9 Ana aakazi a mafumu ali pakati pa akazi anu olemekezeka; ku dzanja lanu lamanja kuli mkwatibwi waufumu ali mu golide wa ku Ofiri.
Kings' daughters are among those dear to thee: the queen standeth on thy right hand in fine gold of Ophir.
10 Tamvera, iwe mwana wa mkazi ganizira ndipo tchera khutu; iwala anthu ako ndi nyumba ya abambo ako.
Hearken, O daughter, and look, and incline thy ear, and forget thy own people, and thy father's house:
11 Mfumu yathedwa nzeru chifukwa cha kukongola kwako; mulemekeze pakuti iyeyo ndiye mbuye wako.
Then will the king long for thy beauty; for he is thy Lord; and bow thyself to him.
12 Mwana wa mkazi wa ku Turo adzabwera ndi mphatso, amuna a chuma adzafunafuna kukoma mtima kwako.
And the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift: the rich among the people shall entreat thy favor.
13 Wokongola kwambiri ndi mwana wa mfumu ali mʼchipinda mwake, chovala chake ndi cholukidwa ndi thonje ndi golide.
All gloriously attired awaiteth the king's daughter in the inner chamber: of wrought gold is her garment.
14 Atavala zovala zamaluwamaluwa akupita naye kwa mfumu; anamwali okhala naye akumutsatira ndipo abweretsedwa kwa inu.
In embroidered clothes will she be brought unto the king: virgins that follow her, her companions, are brought unto thee.
15 Iwo akuwaperekeza ndi chimwemwe ndi chisangalalo; akulowa mʼnyumba yaufumu.
They are led forth with rejoicings and gladness, they enter into the palace of the king.
16 Ana ako aamuna adzatenga malo a makolo ako; udzachititsa kuti akhale ana a mfumu mʼdziko lonse.
Instead of thy fathers shall be thy children: thou wilt appoint them as princes in all the land.
17 Ndidzabukitsa mbiri yako mʼmibado yonse; choncho mitundu yonse idzakutamanda ku nthawi za nthawi.
I will make thy name to be remembered in all generations: therefore shall the people praise thee for ever and ever.
