Masalimo 30
1 Salimo la Davide. Nyimbo yoyimba popereka Nyumba ya Mulungu. Ndidzakukwezani Yehova, chifukwa mwanditulutsa kwakuya, ndipo simunalole kuti adani anga akondwere pa ine.
I will extol you, Adonai, for you have raised me up, and have not made my foes to rejoice over me.
2 Inu Yehova Mulungu wanga ndinapempha kwa Inu thandizo ndipo Inu munandichiritsa.
Adonai my God, I cried to you, and you have healed me.
Adonai, you have brought up my soul from Sheol ·Place of the dead·. You have kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit (of Abbadon, the unrighteous side of Sheol). (Sheol h7585)
4 Imbirani Yehova inu anthu ake okhulupirika; tamandani dzina lake loyera.
Sing zahmar ·musical praise· to Adonai, you saints of his. Yadah ·Extend hands in thankful praise· to his holy name.
5 Pakuti mkwiyo wake umakhala kwa kanthawi koma kukoma mtima kwake ndi kwa moyo wonse; utha kuchezera kulira usiku wonse, koma chimwemwe chimabwera mmawa.
For his anger is but for a moment. His favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may stay for the night, but joy comes in the morning.
6 Pamene ndinaona kuti ndili otetezedwa ndinati, “Sindidzagwedezekanso.”
As for me, I said in my prosperity, “I shall never be moved.”
7 Inu Yehova, pamene munandikomera mtima, munachititsa phiri langa kuyima chilili; koma pamene munabisa nkhope yanu, ndinataya mtima.
You, Adonai, when you favored me, made my mountain stand strong; but when you hid your face, I was troubled.
8 Kwa Inu Yehova ndinayitana; kwa Ambuye ndinapempha chifundo;
I cried to you, Adonai. I made supplication to Adonai:
9 “Kodi pali phindu lanji powonongeka kwanga ngati nditsikira ku dzenje? Kodi fumbi lidzakutamandani Inu? Kodi lidzalengeza za kukhulupirika kwanu?
“What profit is there in my destruction, if I go down to the pit? Shall the dust yadah ·extend hands in thankful praise· to you? Shall it declare your truth?
10 Imvani Yehova ndipo mundichitire chifundo; Yehova mukhale thandizo langa.”
Sh'ma ·Hear obey·, Adonai, and have mercy on me. Adonai, be my helper.”
11 Inu munasandutsa kulira kwanga kukhala kuvina; munachotsa chiguduli changa ndi kundiveka ndi chimwemwe,
You have turned my mourning into dancing for me. You have removed my sackcloth, and clothed me with gladness,
12 kuti mtima wanga uthe kuyimbira Inu usakhale chete. Yehova Mulungu wanga, ndidzapereka kwa Inu mayamiko kwamuyaya.
To the end that my kavod ·weighty glory· may sing zahmar ·musical praise· to you, and not be silent. Adonai my God, I will yadah ·extend hands in thankful praise· to you forever!
