Masalimo 26

1 Salimo la Davide. Weruzeni Inu Yehova pakuti ndakhala moyo wosalakwa. Ndadalira Yehova popanda kugwedezeka.

Unto the end, a psalm for David. Judge me, O Lord, for I have walked in my innocence: and I have put my trust in the Lord, and shall not be weakened.

2 Patseni mayeso, Inu Yehova ndipo ndiyeseni, santhulani mtima wanga ndi maganizo anga;

Prove me, O Lord, and try me; burn my reins and my heart.

3 pakuti chikondi chanu chili pamaso panga nthawi zonse, ndipo ndimayenda mʼchoonadi chanu nthawi zonse.

For thy mercy is before my eyes; and I am well pleased with thy truth.

4 Ine sindikhala pansi pamodzi ndi anthu achinyengo, kapena kufunsa nzeru kwa achiphamaso.

I have not sat with the council of vanity: neither will I go in with the doers of unjust things.

5 Ndimanyansidwa ndi msonkhano wa anthu ochita zoyipa ndipo ndimakana kukhala pansi pamodzi ndi oyipa.

I have hated the assembly of the malignant; and with the wicked I will not sit.

6 Ndimasamba mʼmanja mwanga kuonetsa kusalakwa kwanga ndi kupita kukatumikira pa guwa lanu la nsembe, Inu Yehova,

I will wash my hands among the innocent; and will compass thy altar, O Lord:

7 kulengeza mofuwula za matamando anu ndi kuwuza onse za ntchito zanu zodabwitsa.

That I may hear the voice of thy praise: and tell of all thy wondrous works.

8 Ndimakonda Nyumba imene Inu Yehova mumakhalamo, malo amene ulemerero wanu umapezekako.

I have loved, O Lord, the beauty of thy house; and the place where thy glory dwelleth.

9 Musachotse moyo wanga pamodzi ndi ochimwa, moyo wanga pamodzi ndi anthu akupha anzawo,

Take not away my soul, O God, with the wicked: nor my life with bloody men:

10 amene mʼmanja mwawo muli ndondomeko zoyipa, dzanja lawo lamanja ladzaza ndi ziphuphu.

In whose hands are iniquities: their right hand is filled with gifts.

11 Koma ine ndimakhala moyo wosalakwa; mu msonkhano wa anthu anu ndidzatamanda Yehova.

But as for me, I have walked in my innocence: redeem me, and have mercy on me.

12 Ndayima pa malo wopanda zovuta ndipo ndidzatamanda Yehova mu msonkhano waukulu.

My foot hath stood in the direct way: in the churches I will bless thee, O Lord.
