Masalimo 24

1 Salimo la Davide. Dziko lapansi ndi la Yehova ndi zonse zimene zili mʼmenemo, dziko ndi onse amene amakhala mʼmenemo;

A PSALM OF DAVID. To YHWH [is] the earth and its fullness, The world and the inhabitants in it.

2 pakuti Iye ndiye anayika maziko ake pa nyanja ndi kulikhazika pamwamba pa madzi.

For He has founded it on the seas, And He establishes it on the floods.

3 Ndani angakwere phiri la Yehova? Ndani angathe kuyima pa malo ake opatulika?

Who goes up into the hill of YHWH? And who rises up in His holy place?

4 Iye amene ali ndi mʼmanja moyera ndi mtima woyera, amene sapereka moyo wake kwa fano kapena kulumbira mwachinyengo.

The clean of hands, and pure of heart, Who has not lifted up his soul to vanity, Nor has sworn to deceit.

5 Iyeyo adzalandira madalitso kwa Yehova ndipo Mulungu mpulumutsi wake adzagamula kuti alibe mlandu.

He carries away a blessing from YHWH, Righteousness from the God of his salvation.

6 Umenewo ndiwo mʼbado wa amene amafunafuna Yehova; amene amafunafuna nkhope yanu, Inu Mulungu wa Yakobo. (Sela)

This [is] a generation of those seeking Him. Seeking Your face, O Jacob! (Selah)

7 Tukulani mitu yanu inu zipata; tsekukani, inu zitseko zakalekalenu, kuti Mfumu yaulemerero ilowe.

Lift up your heads, O gates! And be lifted up, O perpetual doors! And the King of Glory comes in!

8 Kodi Mfumu yaulemereroyo ndani? Yehova Wamphamvuzonse, Yehova ndiye wamphamvu pa nkhondo.

Who [is] this—“the King of Glory?” YHWH—strong and mighty, YHWH, the mighty in battle.

9 Tukulani mitu yanu, inu zipata; tsekukani, inu zitseko zakalekalenu, kuti Mfumu yaulemerero ilowe.

Lift up your heads, O gates! And be lifted up, O perpetual doors! And the King of Glory comes in!

10 Kodi Mfumu yaulemereroyo ndani? Yehova Wamphamvuzonse, Iye ndiye Mfumu yaulemerero. (Sela)

Who [is] He—this “King of Glory?” YHWH of hosts—He [is] the King of Glory! (Selah)
