1 Salimo la Davide. Ndidzakuyamikani Yehova ndi mtima wanga wonse; ndidzayimba nyimbo zokutamandani pamaso pa “milungu.”

2 Ndidzagwada kuyangʼana ku Nyumba yanu yoyera ndipo ndidzayamika dzina lanu chifukwa cha chikondi chanu ndi kukhulupirika kwanu, pakuti Inu mwakuza dzina lanu ndi mawu anu kupambana zinthu zonse.

Y schal worschipe to thin hooli temple, and Y schal knouleche to thi name. On thi merci and thi treuthe; for thou hast magnefied thin hooli name aboue al thing.

3 Pamene ndinayitana, munandiyankha; munandisandutsa wamphamvu ndi wolimba mtima.

In what euere dai Y schal inwardli clepe thee, here thou me; thou schalt multipli vertu in my soule.

4 Mafumu onse a dziko lapansi akuyamikeni Yehova, pamene amva mawu a pakamwa panu.

Lord, alle the kingis of erthe knouleche to thee; for thei herden alle the wordis of thi mouth.

5 Iwo ayimbe za njira za Yehova, pakuti ulemerero wa Yehova ndi waukulu.

And singe thei in the weies of the Lord; for the glorie of the Lord is greet.

6 Ngakhale kuti Yehova ngokwezeka, amasamalira odzichepetsa, koma anthu onyada amawadziwira chapatali.

For the Lord is hiy, and biholdith meke thingis; and knowith afer hiy thingis.

7 Ngakhale ndiyende pakati pa masautso, mumasunga moyo wanga; mumatambasula dzanja lanu kutsutsana ndi mkwiyo wa adani anga, mumandipulumutsa ndi dzanja lanu lamanja.

If Y schal go in the myddil of tribulacioun, thou schalt quikene me; and thou stretchidist forth thin hond on the ire of myn enemyes, and thi riyt hond made me saaf.

8 Yehova adzakwaniritsa cholinga chake pa ine; chikondi chanu chosasinthika Yehova, ndi chosatha musasiye ntchito ya manja anu.

The Lord schal yelde for me, Lord, thi merci is with outen ende; dispise thou not the werkis of thin hondis.
