1 Odala ndi amene moyo wawo ulibe cholakwa, amene amayenda monga mwa malamulo a Yehova.
ALEPH. Blessed are those that are vpright in their way, and walke in the Lawe of the Lord.
2 Odala ndi amene amasunga malamulo ake, amene amafunafuna Iyeyo ndi mtima wawo wonse.
Blessed are they that keepe his testimonies, and seeke him with their whole heart.
3 Sachita cholakwa chilichonse; amayenda mʼnjira zake.
Surely they woorke none iniquitie, but walke in his waies.
4 Inu mwapereka malangizo ndipo ayenera kutsatidwa kwathunthu.
Thou hast commanded to keepe thy precepts diligently.
5 Aa! Ndikanakonda njira zanga zikanakhala zokhazikika pa kumvera zophunzitsa zanu!
Oh that my waies were directed to keepe thy statutes!
6 Pamenepo ine sindikanachititsidwa manyazi, poganizira malamulo anu onse.
Then should I not be confounded, when I haue respect vnto all thy commandements.
7 Ndidzakutamandani ndi mtima wolungama, pamene ndikuphunzira malamulo anu olungama.
I will praise thee with an vpright heart, when I shall learne the iudgements of thy righteousnesse.
8 Ndidzamvera zophunzitsa zanu; musanditaye kwathunthu.
I will keepe thy statutes: forsake mee not ouerlong.
9 Kodi mnyamata angathe bwanji kuyeretsa mayendedwe ake? Akawasamala potsata mawu anu.
BETH. Wherewith shall a yong man redresse his waie? in taking heede thereto according to thy woorde.
10 Ndimakufunafunani ndi mtima wanga wonse; musalole kuti ndisochere kuchoka pa malamulo anu.
With my whole heart haue I sought thee: let me not wander from thy commandements.
11 Ndasunga mawu anu mu mtima mwanga kuti ndisakuchimwireni.
I haue hid thy promise in mine heart, that I might not sinne against thee.
12 Mutamandike Inu Yehova; phunzitseni malamulo anu.
Blessed art thou, O Lord: teache mee thy statutes.
13 Ndi milomo yanga ndimafotokoza malamulo anu onse amene amachokera pakamwa panu.
With my lippes haue I declared all the iudgements of thy mouth.
14 Ndimakondwera potsatira malamulo anu monga momwe munthu amakondwera akakhala ndi chuma chambiri.
I haue had as great delight in the way of thy testimonies, as in all riches.
15 Ndimalingalira malangizo anu ndipo ndimaganizira njira zanu.
I will meditate in thy precepts, and consider thy waies.
16 Ndimakondwera ndi malamulo anu; sindidzayiwala konse mawu anu.
I will delite in thy statutes, and I will not forget thy worde.
17 Chitirani zokoma mtumiki wanu, ndipo ndidzakhala ndi moyo; kuti tsono ndisunge mawu anu.
GIMEL. Be beneficiall vnto thy seruant, that I may liue and keepe thy woorde.
18 Tsekulani maso anga kuti ndithe kuona zinthu zodabwitsa mʼmalamulo anu.
Open mine eies, that I may see the wonders of thy Lawe.
19 Ine ndine mlendo pa dziko lapansi; musandibisire malamulo anu.
I am a stranger vpon earth: hide not thy commandements from me.
20 Moyo wanga wafowoka polakalaka malamulo anu nthawi zonse.
Mine heart breaketh for the desire to thy iudgements alway.
21 Inu mumadzudzula onyada, otembereredwa, amene achoka pa malamulo anu.
Thou hast destroied the proud: cursed are they that doe erre from thy commandements.
22 Mundichotsere chitonzo ndi mnyozo pakuti ndimasunga malamulo anu.
Remoue from mee shame and contempt: for I haue kept thy testimonies.
23 Ngakhale mafumu akhale pamodzi kundinyoza, mtumiki wanu adzalingalirabe zophunzitsa zanu.
Princes also did sit, and speake against me: but thy seruant did meditate in thy statutes.
24 Malamulo anu amandikondweretsa; ndiwo amene amandilangiza.
Also thy testimonies are my delite, and my counsellers.
25 Moyo wanga wakangamira fumbi; tsitsimutseni molingana ndi mawu anu.
DALETH. My soule cleaueth to the dust: quicken me according to thy worde.
26 Ndinafotokoza njira zanga ndipo Inu munandiyankha; phunzitseni malamulo anu.
I haue declared my waies, and thou heardest me: teache me thy statutes.
27 Mundidziwitse chiphunzitso cha malangizo anu; pamenepo ndidzalingalira zodabwitsa zanu.
Make me to vnderstand ye way of thy precepts, and I will meditate in thy wondrous workes.
28 Moyo wanga wafowoka ndi chisoni; limbikitseni monga mwa mawu anu.
My soule melteth for heauinesse: raise mee vp according vnto thy worde.
29 Mundichotse mʼnjira zachinyengo; mundikomere mtima pondiphunzitsa malamulo anu.
Take from mee the way of lying, and graunt me graciously thy Lawe.
30 Ndasankha njira ya choonadi; ndayika malamulo anu pa mtima panga.
I haue chosen the way of trueth, and thy iudgements haue I laied before me.
31 Ndagwiritsitsa umboni wanu, Inu Yehova; musalole kuti ndichititsidwe manyazi.
I haue cleaued to thy testimonies, O Lord: confound me not.
32 Ndimathamanga mʼnjira ya malamulo anu, pakuti Inu mwamasula mtima wanga.
I will runne the way of thy commandements, when thou shalt enlarge mine heart.
33 Yehova, phunzitseni kutsatira zophunzitsa zanu; ndipo ndidzazisunga mpaka kumapeto.
HE. Teach mee, O Lord, the way of thy statutes, and I will keepe it vnto the ende.
34 Mundipatse mtima womvetsa zinthu ndipo ndidzasunga malamulo anu ndi kuwamvera ndi mtima wanga wonse.
Giue mee vnderstanding, and I will keepe thy Law: yea, I wil keepe it with my whole heart.
35 Munditsogolere mʼnjira ya malamulo anu, pakuti mʼmenemo ndimapezamo chikondwerero changa.
Direct mee in the path of thy commandements: for therein is my delite.
36 Tembenuzani mtima wanga kuti uzikonda malamulo anu, osati chuma.
Incline mine heart vnto thy testimonies, and not to couetousnesse.
37 Tembenuzani maso anga kuchoka ku zinthu zachabechabe; sungani moyo wanga monga mwa mawu anu.
Turne away mine eies from regarding vanitie, and quicken me in thy way.
38 Kwaniritsani lonjezo lanu kwa mtumiki wanu, kuti Inu muopedwe.
Stablish thy promise to thy seruaunt, because he feareth thee.
39 Mundichotsere chipongwe chimene ndikuchiopa, pakuti malamulo anu ndi abwino.
Take away my rebuke that I feare: for thy iudgements are good.
40 Taonani, ndimalakalakatu malangizo anu! Sungani moyo wanga mʼchilungamo chanu.
Beholde, I desire thy commandements: quicken me in thy righteousnesse,
41 Chikondi chanu chosasinthika chibwere kwa ine, Inu Yehova, chipulumutso chanu monga mwa lonjezo lanu;
VAV. And let thy louing kindnesse come vnto me, O Lord, and thy saluation according to thy promise.
42 ndipo ndidzayankha amene amandinyoza, popeza ndimadalira mawu anu.
So shall I make answere vnto my blasphemers: for I trust in thy woorde.
43 Musakwatule mawu a choonadi mʼkamwa mwanga, pakuti ndakhazikitsa chiyembekezo changa mʼmalamulo anu.
And take not the woorde of trueth vtterly out of my mouth: for I waite for thy iudgements.
44 Ndidzasunga malamulo anu nthawi zonse, ku nthawi za nthawi.
So shall I alway keepe thy Lawe for euer and euer.
45 Ndidzayendayenda mwaufulu, chifukwa ndinafunafuna malangizo anu.
And I will walke at libertie: for I seeke thy precepts.
46 Ndidzayankhula za umboni wanu pamaso pa mfumu ndipo sindidzachititsidwa manyazi,
I will speake also of thy testimonies before Kings, and will not be ashamed.
47 popeza ndimakondwera ndi malamulo anu chifukwa ndimawakonda.
And my delite shalbe in thy commandements, which I haue loued.
48 Ndikweza manja anga ku malamulo anu, ku malamulo amene ndimawakonda, ndipo ndimalingalira malangizo anu.
Mine handes also will I lift vp vnto thy commandements, which I haue loued, and I will meditate in thy statutes.
49 Kumbukirani mawu anu kwa mtumiki wanu, popeza mwandipatsa chiyembekezo.
ZAIN. Remember the promise made to thy seruant, wherein thou hast caused me to trust.
50 Chitonthozo changa pa masautso anga ndi ichi: lonjezo lanu limasunga moyo wanga.
It is my comfort in my trouble: for thy promise hath quickened me.
51 Odzikuza amandinyoza popanda chowaletsa, koma sindichoka pa malamulo anu.
The proude haue had me exceedingly in derision: yet haue I not declined from thy Lawe.
52 Ndimakumbukira malamulo anu Yehova akalekale, ndipo mwa iwo ndimapeza chitonthozo.
I remembred thy iudgements of olde, O Lord, and haue bene comforted.
53 Ndayipidwa kwambiri chifukwa cha oyipa amene ataya malamulo anu.
Feare is come vpon mee for the wicked, that forsake thy Lawe.
54 Zophunzitsa zanu ndi mitu ya nyimbo yanga kulikonse kumene ndigonako.
Thy statutes haue beene my songes in the house of my pilgrimage.
55 Usiku ndimakumbukira dzina lanu Yehova, ndipo ndidzasunga malamulo anu.
I haue remembred thy Name, O Lord, in the night, and haue kept thy Lawe.
56 Ichi ndicho ndakhala ndikuchita: ndimasunga malangizo anu.
This I had because I kept thy precepts.
57 Yehova, Inu ndiye gawo langa; ndalonjeza kumvera mawu anu.
CHETH. O Lord, that art my portion, I haue determined to keepe thy wordes.
58 Ndimafunafuna nkhope yanu ndi mtima wanga wonse; mundikomere mtima monga mwa lonjezo lanu.
I made my supplication in thy presence with my whole heart: be mercifull vnto me according to thy promise.
59 Ndinalingalira za njira zanga ndipo ndatembenuza mayendedwe anga kutsatira umboni wanu.
I haue considered my waies, and turned my feete into thy testimonies.
60 Ndidzafulumira ndipo sindidzazengereza kumvera malamulo anu.
I made haste and delaied not to keepe thy commandements.
61 Ngakhale oyipa andimange ndi zingwe, sindidzayiwala lamulo lanu.
The bandes of the wicked haue robbed me: but I haue not forgotten thy Lawe.
62 Ndimadzuka pakati pa usiku kuyamika Inu chifukwa cha malamulo anu olungama.
At midnight will I rise to giue thanks vnto thee, because of thy righteous iudgements.
63 Ine ndine bwenzi la onse amene amakukondani, kwa onse amene amatsatira malangizo anu.
I am companion of all them that feare thee, and keepe thy precepts.
64 Dziko lapansi ladzaza ndi chikondi chanu chosasinthika, phunzitseni malamulo anu.
The earth, O Lord, is full of thy mercie: teache me thy statutes.
65 Inu Yehova, chitirani chabwino mtumiki wanu molingana ndi mawu anu.
TETH. O Lord, thou hast delt graciously with thy seruant according vnto thy woorde.
66 Phunzitseni nzeru ndi chiweruzo chabwino, pakuti ndimakhulupirira malamulo anu.
Teach me good iudgement and knowledge: for I haue beleeued thy commandements.
67 Ndisanayambe kuzunzika ndinasochera, koma tsopano ndimamvera mawu anu.
Before I was afflicted, I went astray: but nowe I keepe thy woorde.
68 Inu ndinu abwino ndipo zimene mumachita ndi zabwino; phunzitseni malamulo anu.
Thou art good and gracious: teach me thy statutes.
69 Ngakhale odzikuza andipaka mabodza, ine ndimasunga malangizo anu ndi mtima wanga wonse.
The proud haue imagined a lie against me: but I wil keepe thy precepts with my whole heart.
70 Mitima yawo ndi yowuma ndi yosakhudzidwa, koma ine ndimakondwera ndi malamulo anu.
Their heart is fatte as grease: but my delite is in thy Lawe.
71 Ndi bwino kuti ndinasautsidwa kuti ndithe kuphunzira malamulo anu.
It is good for me that I haue beene afflicted, that I may learne thy statutes.
72 Lamulo lochokera mʼkamwa mwanu limandikomera kwambiri kuposa ndalama zambirimbiri za siliva ndi golide.
The Lawe of thy mouth is better vnto me, then thousands of golde and siluer.
73 Manja anu anandilenga ndi kundiwumba; patseni nzeru zomvetsa zinthu kuti ndiphunzire malamulo anu.
IOD. Thine hands haue made me and fashioned me: giue mee vnderstanding therefore, that I may learne thy commandements.
74 Iwo amene amakuopani akondwere akandiona, chifukwa chiyembekezo changa chili mʼmawu anu.
So they that feare thee, seeing mee shall reioyce, because I haue trusted in thy worde.
75 Ine ndikudziwa, Inu Yehova, kuti malamulo anu ndi olungama ndipo mwandizunza chifukwa cha kukhulupirika kwanu.
I knowe, O Lord, that thy iudgements are right, and that thou hast afflicted me iustly.
76 Chikondi chanu chosasinthika chikhale chitonthozo changa, molingana ndi lonjezo lanu kwa mtumiki wanu.
I pray thee that thy mercie may comfort me according to thy promise vnto thy seruant.
77 Chifundo chanu chindifikire kuti ndikhale ndi moyo, popeza malamulo anu ndiye chikondwerero changa.
Let thy tender mercies come vnto me, that I may liue: for thy Lawe is my delite.
78 Odzikuza achititsidwe manyazi chifukwa cha kundilakwira popanda chifukwa; koma ine ndidzalingalira malangizo anu.
Let the proude be ashamed: for they haue dealt wickedly and falsely with me: but I meditate in thy precepts.
79 Iwo amene amakuopani atembenukire kwa ine, iwo amene amamvetsetsa umboni wanu.
Let such as feare thee turne vnto me, and they that knowe thy testimonies.
80 Mtima wanga ukhale wopanda cholakwa pa chiphunzitso chanu kuti ndisachititsidwe manyazi.
Let mine heart bee vpright in thy statutes, that I be not ashamed.
81 Moyo wanga wafowoka ndi kufunafuna chipulumutso chanu, koma chiyembekezo changa chili mʼmawu anu.
CAPH. My soule fainteth for thy saluation: yet I waite for thy worde.
82 Maso anga alefuka pofunafuna lonjezo lanu; Ine ndikuti, “Kodi mudzanditonthoza liti?”
Mine eyes faile for thy promise, saying, when wilt thou comfort me?
83 Ngakhale ndili ngati thumba lachikopa la vinyo pa utsi sindiyiwala zophunzitsa zanu.
For I am like a bottell in the smoke: yet doe I not forget thy statutes.
84 Kodi mtumiki wanu ayenera kudikira mpaka liti? Kodi mudzawalanga liti amene amandizunza?
Howe many are the dayes of thy seruant? When wilt thou execute iudgement on them that persecute me?
85 Anthu osalabadira za Mulungu, odzikuza amandikumbira dzenje motsutsana ndi malamulo anu.
The proude haue digged pittes for mee, which is not after thy Lawe.
86 Malamulo anu onse ndi odalirika; thandizeni, pakuti anthu akundizunza popanda chifukwa.
All thy commandements are true: they persecute me falsely: helpe me.
87 Iwo anatsala pangʼono kundichotsa pa dziko lapansi koma sindinataye malangizo anu.
They had almost consumed me vpon the earth: but I forsooke not thy precepts.
88 Sungani moyo wanga molingana ndi chikondi chanu chosasinthika, ndipo ndidzamvera umboni wa pakamwa panu.
Quicken me according to thy louing kindnes: so shall I keepe the testimony of thy mouth.
89 Mawu anu Yehova ndi amuyaya; akhazikika kumwambako.
LAMED. O Lord, thy worde endureth for euer in heauen.
90 Kukhulupirika kwanu kumakhala mpaka ku mibado yonse; Inu munakhazikitsa dziko lapansi ndipo lilipobe.
Thy trueth is from generation to generation: thou hast layed the foundation of the earth, and it abideth.
91 Malamulo anu alipobe mpaka lero lino, pakuti zinthu zonse zimatumikira Inu.
They continue euen to this day by thine ordinances: for all are thy seruants.
92 Malamulo anu akanapanda kukhala chikondwerero changa, ndikanawonongeka mʼmasautso anga.
Except thy Lawe had bene my delite, I should now haue perished in mine affliction.
93 Ine sindidzayiwala konse malangizo anu, pakuti ndi malangizo anuwo munasunga moyo wanga.
I wil neuer forget thy precepts: for by them thou hast quickened me.
94 Ndine wanu, ndipulumutseni; pakuti ndasamala malangizo anu.
I am thine, saue me: for I haue sought thy precepts.
95 Anthu oyipa akudikira kuti andiwononge, koma ndidzalingalira umboni wanu.
The wicked haue waited for me to destroy me: but I will consider thy testimonies.
96 Ndadziwa kuti zinthu zonse zili ndi malire, koma malamulo anu alibe malire konse.
I haue seene an ende of all perfection: but thy commandement is exceeding large.
97 Ndithu, ine ndimakonda malamulo anu! Ndimalingaliramo tsiku lonse.
MEM. Oh howe loue I thy Lawe! it is my meditation continually.
98 Malamulo anu amachititsa kuti ndikhale wanzeru kuposa adani anga, popeza malamulowo ali ndi ine nthawi zonse.
By thy commandements thou hast made mee wiser then mine enemies: for they are euer with mee.
99 Ndimamvetsa zinthu kwambiri kuposa aphunzitsi anga onse popeza ndimalingalira umboni wanu.
I haue had more vnderstading then all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my (meditation)
100 Ndili ndi nzeru zochuluka zomvetsera zinthu kuposa anthu okalamba, popeza ndimamvera malangizo anu.
I vnderstoode more then the ancient, because I kept thy precepts.
101 Ndimaletsa miyendo yanga kuyenda mʼnjira iliyonse yoyipa kuti ndithe kumvera mawu anu.
I haue refrained my feete from euery euil way, that I might keepe thy word.
102 Sindinapatuke kuchoka pa malamulo anu, pakuti Inu mwini munandiphunzitsa.
I haue not declined from thy iudgements: for thou didest teach me.
103 Mawu anu ndi otsekemera ndikawalawa, otsekemera kuposa uchi mʼkamwa mwanga!
Howe sweete are thy promises vnto my mouth! yea, more then hony vnto my mouth.
104 Ndimapeza nzeru zodziwira zinthu kuchokera mʼmalangizo anu; kotero ndimadana ndi njira iliyonse yoyipa.
By thy precepts I haue gotten vnderstanding: therefore I hate all the wayes of falshoode.
105 Mawu anu ndi nyale ya kumapazi kwanga ndi kuwunika kwa pa njira yanga.
NUN. Thy worde is a lanterne vnto my feete, and a light vnto my path.
106 Ndalumbira ndipo ndatsimikiza, kuti ndidzatsatira malamulo anu olungama.
I haue sworne and will performe it, that I will keepe thy righteous iudgements.
107 Ndazunzika kwambiri; Inu Yehova, sungani moyo wanga molingana ndi mawu anu.
I am very sore afflicted: O Lord, quicken me according to thy word.
108 Inu Yehova, landirani matamando aufulu ochokera pakamwa panga, ndipo ndiphunzitseni malamulo anu.
O Lord, I beseeche thee accept the free offerings of my mouth, and teach mee thy iudgements.
109 Ngakhale moyo wanga umakhala mʼzoopsa nthawi ndi nthawi, sindidzayiwala malamulo anu.
My soule is continually in mine hande: yet doe I not forget thy Lawe.
110 Anthu oyipa anditchera msampha, koma sindinasochere kuchoka pa malangizo anu.
The wicked haue layed a snare for mee: but I swarued not from thy precepts.
111 Umboni wanu ndiye cholowa changa kwamuyaya; Iwo ndiye chimwemwe cha mtima wanga.
Thy testimonies haue I taken as an heritage for euer: for they are the ioy of mine heart.
112 Mtima wanga wakhazikika pa kusunga zophunzitsa zanu mpaka kumapeto kwenikweni.
I haue applied mine heart to fulfill thy statutes alway, euen vnto the ende.
113 Ndimadana ndi anthu apawiripawiri, koma ndimakonda malamulo anu.
SAMECH. I hate vaine inuentions: but thy Lawe doe I loue.
114 Inu ndinu pothawirapo panga ndi chishango changa; chiyembekezo changa chili mʼmawu anu.
Thou art my refuge and shield, and I trust in thy worde.
115 Chokani kwa ine, inu anthu ochita zoyipa, kuti ndisunge malamulo a Mulungu wanga!
Away from mee, yee wicked: for I will keepe the commandements of my God.
116 Mundichirikize molingana ndi lonjezo lanu, ndipo ndidzakhala ndi moyo; musalole kuti chiyembekezo changa chipite pachabe.
Stablish me according to thy promise, that I may liue, and disappoint me not of mine hope.
117 Gwirizizeni, ndipo ndidzapulumutsidwa; nthawi zonse ndidzasamalira zophunzitsa zanu.
Stay thou mee, and I shall be safe, and I will delite continually in thy statutes.
118 Inu mumakana onse amene amasochera kuchoka pa zophunzitsa zanu, pakuti chinyengo chawo ndi chopanda phindu.
Thou hast troden downe all them that depart from thy statutes: for their deceit is vaine.
119 Anthu onse oyipa a pa dziko lapansi mumawayesa ngati zinthu zakudzala; nʼchifukwa chake ndimakonda umboni wanu.
Thou hast taken away all ye wicked of the earth like drosse: therefore I loue thy testimonies.
120 Thupi langa limanjenjemera chifukwa cha kuopa Inu; ndimachita mantha ndi malamulo anu.
My flesh trembleth for feare of thee, and I am afraide of thy iudgements.
121 Ndachita zolungama ndi zabwino; musandisiye mʼmanja mwa ondizunza.
AIN. I haue executed iudgement and iustice: leaue me not to mine oppressours.
122 Onetsetsani kuti mtumiki wanu akukhala bwino, musalole kuti anthu odzikuza andipondereze.
Answere for thy seruant in that, which is good, and let not the proude oppresse me.
123 Maso anga alefuka, kufunafuna chipulumutso chanu, kufunafuna lonjezo lanu lolungama.
Mine eyes haue failed in waiting for thy saluation, and for thy iust promise.
124 Muchite naye mtumiki wanu molingana ndi chikondi chanu chosasinthika, ndipo mundiphunzitse malamulo anu.
Deale with thy seruant according to thy mercie, and teache me thy statutes.
125 Ine ndine mtumiki wanu; patseni mzimu wondizindikiritsa, kuti ndimvetsetse umboni wanu.
I am thy seruant: graunt mee therefore vnderstanding, that I may knowe thy testimonies.
126 Yehova, ndi nthawi yoti muchitepo kanthu; malamulo anu akuswedwa.
It is time for thee Lord to worke: for they haue destroyed thy Lawe.
127 Chifukwa choti ndimakonda malamulo anu kuposa golide, kuposa golide woyengeka bwino,
Therefore loue I thy commandements aboue golde, yea, aboue most fine golde.
128 ndiponso chifukwa choti ndimaona kuti malangizo anu onse ndi wowongoka, ndimadana ndi njira iliyonse yoyipa.
Therefore I esteeme all thy precepts most iust, and hate all false wayes.
129 Maumboni anu ndi odabwitsa nʼchifukwa chake ndimawamvera.
PE. Thy testimonies are wonderfull: therefore doeth my soule keepe them.
130 Mawu anu akamaphunzitsidwa amapereka kuwunika; ngakhale anthu wamba amamvetsetsa.
The entrance into thy wordes sheweth light, and giueth vnderstanding to the simple.
131 Ndimatsekula pakamwa panga ndi kupuma wefuwefu, kufunafuna malamulo anu.
I opened my mouth and panted, because I loued thy commandements.
132 Tembenukirani kwa ine ndipo mundichitire chifundo, monga mumachitira nthawi zonse kwa iwo amene amakonda dzina lanu.
Looke vpon mee and bee mercifull vnto me, as thou vsest to doe vnto those that loue thy Name.
133 Tsogolerani mayendedwe anga molingana ndi mawu anu; musalole kuti tchimo lizindilamulira.
Direct my steppes in thy worde, and let none iniquitie haue dominion ouer me.
134 Ndiwomboleni mʼdzanja la anthu ondizunza, kuti ndithe kumvera malangizo anu.
Deliuer mee from the oppression of men, and I will keepe thy precepts.
135 Nkhope yanu iwalire mtumiki wanu ndipo mundiphunzitse malamulo anu.
Shew the light of thy countenance vpon thy seruant, and teache me thy statutes.
136 Mitsinje ya misozi ikuyenda kuchoka mʼmaso mwanga, chifukwa anthu sakumvera malamulo anu.
Mine eyes gush out with riuers of water, because they keepe not thy Lawe.
137 Yehova ndinu wolungama, ndipo malamulo anu ndi abwino.
TSADDI. Righteous art thou, O Lord, and iust are thy iudgements.
138 Maumboni amene munatipatsa ndi olungama; ndi odalirika ndithu.
Thou hast commanded iustice by thy testimonies and trueth especially.
139 Ndikusautsidwa kwambiri mʼkati mwanga chifukwa adani anu amanyalanyaza mawu anu.
My zeale hath euen consumed mee, because mine enemies haue forgotten thy wordes.
140 Mawu anu ndi woyera kwambiri nʼchifukwa chake mtumiki wanune ndimawakonda.
Thy word is prooued most pure, and thy seruant loueth it.
141 Ngakhale ndili wamngʼono ndi wonyozeka, sindiyiwala malangizo anu.
I am small and despised: yet do I not forget thy precepts.
142 Chilungamo chanu nʼchamuyaya, ndipo malamulo anu nʼchoona.
Thy righteousnesse is an euerlasting righteousnes, and thy Lawe is trueth.
143 Mavuto ndi masautso zandigwera, koma ndimakondwera ndi malamulo anu.
Trouble and anguish are come vpon me: yet are thy commandements my delite.
144 Umboni wanu ndi wabwino nthawi zonse; patseni nzeru zomvetsa zinthu kuti ine ndikhale ndi moyo.
The righteousnes of thy testimonies is euerlasting: graunt me vnderstanding, and I shall liue.
145 Ndimayitana ndi mtima wanga wonse; ndiyankheni Inu Yehova, ndipo ndidzamvera zophunzitsa zanu.
KOPH. I haue cried with my whole heart: heare me, O Lord, and I will keepe thy statutes.
146 Ndikuyitana kwa Inu; pulumutseni ndipo ndidzasunga umboni wanu.
I called vpon thee: saue mee, and I will keepe thy testimonies.
147 Ndimadzuka tambala asanalire kuti ndipemphe thandizo; chiyembekezo changa chili mʼmawu anu.
I preuented the morning light, and cried: for I waited on thy word.
148 Maso anga amakhala chipenyere nthawi yonse ya usiku, kuti ndithe kulingalira malonjezo anu.
Mine eyes preuent the night watches to meditate in thy word.
149 Imvani mawu anga molingana ndi chikondi chanu chosasinthika; Yehova sungani moyo wanga, molingana ndi malamulo anu.
Heare my voyce according to thy louing kindenesse: O Lord, quicken me according to thy iudgement.
150 Iwo amene amakonza njira zoyipa andiyandikira, koma ali kutali ndi malamulo anu.
They drawe neere, that follow after malice, and are farre from thy Lawe.
151 Koma Inu Yehova muli pafupi, malamulo anu onse ndi woona.
Thou art neere, O Lord: for all thy commandements are true.
152 Ndinaphunzira kalekale kuchokera mʼmaumboni anu kuti maumboni amene munakhazikitsawo ndi amuyaya.
I haue knowen long since by thy testimonies, that thou hast established them for euer.
153 Yangʼanani masautso anga ndipo mundipulumutse, pakuti sindinayiwale malamulo anu.
RESH. Beholde mine affliction, and deliuer mee: for I haue not forgotten thy Lawe.
154 Mundiyimirire pa mlandu wanga ndi kundiwombola; sungani moyo wanga molingana ndi lonjezo lanu.
Pleade my cause, and deliuer me: quicken me according vnto thy word.
155 Chipulumutso chili kutali ndi anthu oyipa, pakuti iwowo safunafuna zophunzitsa zanu.
Saluation is farre from the wicked, because they seeke not thy statutes.
156 Chifundo chanu Yehova nʼchachikulu; sungani moyo wanga molingana ndi malamulo anu.
Great are thy tender mercies, O Lord: quicken me according to thy iudgements.
157 Adani amene akundizunza ndi ambiri, koma ine sindinatembenuke kuchoka pa umboni wanu.
My persecutours and mine oppressours are many: yet doe I not swarue from thy testimonies.
158 Ndimawayangʼana monyansidwa anthu opanda chikhulupiriro, popeza samvera mawu anu.
I saw the transgressours and was grieued, because they kept not thy worde.
159 Onani momwe ndimakondera malangizo anu; sungani moyo wanga, Inu Yehova, molingana ndi chikondi chanu chosanthika.
Consider, O Lord, how I loue thy preceptes: quicken mee according to thy louing kindenesse.
160 Mawu anu onse ndi owona; malamulo anu onse olungama ndi amuyaya.
The beginning of thy worde is trueth, and all the iudgements of thy righteousnesse endure for euer.
161 Olamulira amandizunza popanda chifukwa, koma mtima wanga umanjenjemera ndi mawu anu.
SCHIN. Princes haue persecuted mee without cause, but mine heart stood in awe of thy wordes.
162 Ine ndimakondwa ndi lonjezo lanu, ngati munthu amene wapeza chuma chambiri.
I reioyce at thy worde, as one that findeth a great spoyle.
163 Ndimadana ndi chinyengo, kwambiri ndimanyansidwa nacho, koma ndimakonda malamulo anu.
I hate falshoode and abhorre it, but thy Lawe doe I loue.
164 Ndimakutamandani kasanu ndi kawiri pa tsiku pakuti malamulo anu ndi olungama.
Seuen times a day doe I praise thee, because of thy righteous iudgements.
165 Amene amakonda malamulo anu ali ndi mtendere waukulu, ndipo palibe chimene chingawapunthwitse
They that loue thy Law, shall haue great prosperitie, and they shall haue none hurt.
166 Ndikudikira chipulumutso chanu, Inu Yehova, ndipo ndimatsatira malamulo anu.
Lord, I haue trusted in thy saluation, and haue done thy commandements.
167 Ndimamvera umboni wanu pakuti ndimawukonda kwambiri.
My soule hath kept thy testimonies: for I loue them exceedingly.
168 Ndimamvera malangizo anu ndi umboni wanu, pakuti njira zanga zonse ndi zodziwika pamaso panu.
I haue kept thy precepts and thy testimonies: for all my wayes are before thee.
169 Kulira kwanga kufike pamaso panu Yehova; patseni nzeru zomvetsa zinthu molingana ndi mawu anu.
TAV. Let my complaint come before thee, O Lord, and giue me vnderstanding, according vnto thy worde.
170 Kupempha kwanga kufike pamaso panu; pulumutseni molingana ndi lonjezo lanu.
Let my supplication come before thee, and deliuer me according to thy promise.
171 Matamando asefukire pa milomo yanga, pakuti Inu mumandiphunzitsa malamulo anu.
My lippes shall speake praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes.
172 Lilime langa liyimbe mawu anu, popeza malamulo anu onse ndi olungama.
My tongue shall intreate of thy word: for all thy commandements are righteous.
173 Dzanja lanu likhale lokonzeka kundithandiza pakuti ndasankha malangizo anu.
Let thine hand helpe me: for I haue chosen thy precepts.
174 Ndikufunitsitsa chipulumutso chanu Yehova, ndipo ndimakondwera ndi malamulo anu.
I haue longed for thy saluation, O Lord, and thy Lawe is my delite.
175 Loleni kuti ndikhale ndi moyo kuti ndikutamandeni, ndipo malamulo anu andichirikize.
Let my soule liue, and it shall praise thee, and thy iudgements shall helpe me.
176 Ndasochera ngati nkhosa yotayika, funafunani mtumiki wanu, pakuti sindinayiwale malamulo anu.
I haue gone astraye like a lost sheepe: seeke thy seruant, for I doe not forget thy commandements.
