1 Salimo. Nyimbo yothokoza. Fuwulani kwa Yehova mwachimwemwe, inu dziko lonse lapansi.

Everyone in the world should shout joyfully to Yahweh!

2 Mulambireni Yehova mosangalala; bwerani pamaso pake ndi nyimbo zachikondwerero.

We should worship Yahweh gladly! We should come before him singing joyful songs.

3 Dziwani kuti Yehova ndi Mulungu. Iye ndiye amene anatipanga ndipo ife ndife ake; ndife anthu ake, nkhosa za pabusa pake.

We should acknowledge/recognize that Yahweh is God; it is he who made us, [so] we belong to him. We are the people that he takes care of [MET]; we are [like] sheep that are cared for by their shepherd.

4 Lowani ku zipata zake ndi chiyamiko ndi ku mabwalo ake ndi matamando; muyamikeni ndi kutamanda dzina lake.

Enter the gates [of his temple] thanking him; enter the courtyard [of the temple] singing songs to praise him! Thank him and praise him,

5 Pakuti Yehova ndi wabwino ndipo chikondi chake ndi chamuyaya; kukhulupirika kwake nʼkokhazikika pa mibado ndi mibado.

because Yahweh always [does] good [things for us]. He faithfully loves us, and (is faithful/is loyal to us forever/will never forsake us).
