Nehemiya 3
1 Pambuyo pake Eliyasibu mkulu wa ansembe ndi ansembe anzake anayamba kugwira ntchito ndipo anamanganso Chipata cha Nkhosa. Iwo anachipatulira Mulungu ndipo anayika zitseko zake. Khoma limene analipatula linafika mpaka pa Nsanja ya Zana ndi Nsanja ya Hananeli.
Then Eliashib the high priest rose up with his brethren the priests, and they builded the sheep gate; they sanctified it, and set up the doors of it; even unto the tower of Meah they sanctified it, unto the tower of Hananeel.
2 Anthu a ku Yeriko anamanga chigawo china pambali pake ndipo Zakuri mwana wa Imuri anamanga chigawo chinanso choyandikana nawo.
And next unto him builded the men of Jericho. And next to them builded Zaccur the son of Imri.
3 Chipata cha Nsomba chinamangidwanso ndi ana a fuko la Hasena. Iwo anayika mitanda yake ndi zitseko, zotsekera zake, ndi mipiringidzo yake.
But the fish gate did the sons of Hassenaah build, who also laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.
4 Meremoti mwana wa Uriya, mwana wa Hakozi, anakonza chigawo choyandikana nacho. Motsatana naye, Mesulamu mwana wa Berekiya, mwana wa Mesezabeli anakonza chigawo china. Pambali pake, Zadoki mwana wa Baana anakonzanso chigawo china.
And next unto them repaired Meremoth the son of Urijah, the son of Koz. And next unto them repaired Meshullam the son of Berechiah, the son of Meshezabeel. And next unto them repaired Zadok the son of Baana.
5 Pambali pa iwowa anthu a ku Tekowa anakonza chigawo china. Koma wolemekezeka awo anakana kugwira ntchito imene akuluakulu awo anawapatsa.
And next unto them the Tekoites repaired; but their nobles put not their necks to the work of their master.
6 Chipata cha Yesana chinakonzedwa ndi Yoyada mwana wa Paseya ndi Mesulamu mwana wa Besodeya. Iwo anayika mitanda yake ndi kuyika zitseko, zotsekera zake ndi mipiringidzo yake.
Moreover the old gate repaired Jehoiada the son of Paseah, and Meshullam the son of Besodeiah; they laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, and the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.
7 Pambali pawo Melatiya Mgibeyoni ndi Yadoni Mmerenoti ndiponso anthu a ku Gibiyoni ndi a ku Mizipa anakonza chigawo chawo mpaka ku nyumba ya bwanamkubwa wa chigawo cha Patsidya pa Yufurate.
And next unto them repaired Melatiah the Gibeonite, and Jadon the Meronothite, the men of Gibeon, and of Mizpah, unto the throne of the governor on this side the river.
8 Pambali pawo Uzieli mwana wa Harihaya wa mʼgulu amisiri osula golide anakonzanso chigawo china. Pambali pake Hananiya mmodzi mwa anthu oyenga mafuta onunkhira, anakonzanso chigawo china. Iwo anakonzanso Yerusalemu mpaka ku Khoma Lotambasuka.
Next unto him repaired Uzziel the son of Harhaiah, of the goldsmiths. Next unto him also repaired Hananiah the son of one of the apothecaries, and they fortified Jerusalem unto the broad wall.
9 Refaya mwana wa Huri wolamulira theka la chigawo cha Yerusalemu anakonza chigawo china motsatana nawo.
And next unto them repaired Rephaiah the son of Hur, the ruler of the half part of Jerusalem.
10 Kulumikiza ichi, Yedaya mwana wa Harumafi anakonza chigawo choyangʼanana ndi nyumba yake, ndipo Hatusi mwana wa Hasabaneya anakonzanso motsatana naye.
And next unto them repaired Jedaiah the son of Harumaph, even over against his house. And next unto him repaired Hattush the son of Hashabniah.
11 Malikiya mwana wa Harimu ndi Hasubu mwana wa Pahati-Mowabu anakonzanso chigawo china ndiponso Nsanja ya Ngʼanjo.
Malchijah the son of Harim, and Hashub the son of Pahath-moab, repaired the other piece, and the tower of the furnaces.
12 Salumu mwana wa Halohesi wolamulira theka la chigawo cha Yerusalemu, anakonzanso chigawo chotsatana nawo mothandizidwa ndi ana ake akazi.
And next unto him repaired Shallum the son of Halohesh, the ruler of the half part of Jerusalem, he and his daughters.
13 Chipata cha ku chigwa chinakonzedwa ndi Hanuni ndi anthu okhala ku Zanowa. Iwo anachimanganso ndi kuyika zitseko zake ndi zotsekera ndi mipiringidzo yake. Iwo anakonzanso khoma lotalika mamita 450 mpaka ku Chipata cha Zinyalala.
The valley gate repaired Hanun, and the inhabitants of Zanoah; they built it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, and a thousand cubits on the wall unto the dung gate.
14 Chipata cha Zinyalala chinakonzedwa ndi Malikiya mwana wa Rekabu, wolamulira chigawo cha Beti-Hakeremu. Iye anachimanganso ndi kuyika zitseko zake, zotsekera zake ndi mipiringidzo.
But the dung gate repaired Malchiah the son of Rechab, the ruler of part of Beth-haccerem; he built it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.
15 Chipata cha Kasupe chinakonzedwa ndi Saluni mwana wa Koli-Hoze, wolamulira chigawo cha Mizipa. Iye anachimanganso ndi kuyikanso denga ndiponso zitseko, zotsekera ndi mipiringidzo yake. Iye anakonzanso khoma la Dziwe la Siloamu limene lili pafupi ndi munda wa mfumu mpaka ku makwerero otsikira potuluka mzinda wa Davide.
But the gate of the fountain repaired Shallun the son of Col-hozeh, the ruler of part of Mizpah; he built it, and covered it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, and the wall of the pool of Siloah by the king's garden, and unto the stairs that go down from the city of David.
16 Pambali pa iyeyo, Nehemiya mwana wa Azibuki, wolamulira theka la chigawo cha Beti Zuri anakonza chigawo china mpaka kumalo oyangʼanana ndi manda a Davide, mpaka ku dziwe lokumba ndi ku nyumba ya anthu ankhondo.
After him repaired Nehemiah the son of Azbuk, the ruler of the half part of Beth-zur, unto the place over against the sepulchres of David, and to the pool that was made, and unto the house of the mighty.
17 Pambali pake Alevi anakonza chigawo china, ndipo mtsogoleri wawo anali Rehumi mwana wa Bani. Pambali pa iye Hasabiya wolamulira theka la chigawo cha Keyila anagwira ntchito ku chigawo chake.
After him repaired the Levites, Rehum the son of Bani. Next unto him repaired Hashabiah, the ruler of the half part of Keilah, in his part.
18 Pambuyo pa iyeyu abale awo anapitiriza kukonza, ndipo mtsogoleri wawo anali Bawai mwana wa Henadadi, wolamulira theka lina la chigawo cha Keyila.
After him repaired their brethren, Bavai the son of Henadad, the ruler of the half part of Keilah.
19 Motsatana naye Ezeri mwana wa Yesuwa, wolamulira Mizipa anakonza chigawo chinanso choyangʼanana ndi chikweza chofikira ku nyumba yosungira zida za nkhondo pa ngodya.
And next to him repaired Ezer the son of Jeshua, the ruler of Mizpah, another piece over against the going up to the armoury at the turning of the wall.
20 Motsatana naye, Baruki mwana wa Zakai anakonzanso chigawo china kuchokera pa ngodya mpaka pa chitseko cha nyumba ya Eliyasibu mkulu wa ansembe.
After him Baruch the son of Zabbai earnestly repaired the other piece, from the turning of the wall unto the door of the house of Eliashib the high priest.
21 Motsatana naye, Meremoti mwana wa Uriya, mwana wa Hakozi anakonzanso chigawo china kuchokera ku chitseko cha nyumba ya Eliyasibu mpaka kumapeto kwake.
After him repaired Meremoth the son of Urijah the son of Koz another piece, from the door of the house of Eliashib even to the end of the house of Eliashib.
22 Pambuyo pake ansembe okhala ku chidikha anakonzanso chigawo china.
And after him repaired the priests, the men of the plain.
23 Pambuyo pawo, Benjamini ndi Hasubu anakonza kutsogolo kwa nyumba zawo. Ndipo motsatana nawo, Azariya mwana wa Maaseya mwana wa Ananiya, anakonza chigawo choyangʼanana ndi nyumba zawo.
After him repaired Benjamin and Hashub over against their house. After him repaired Azariah the son of Maaseiah the son of Ananiah by his house.
24 Motsatana naye, Binuyi mwana wa Henadadi anakonzanso chigawo china, kuchokera pa nyumba ya Azariya kukafika potsirizira pa ngodya.
After him repaired Binnui the son of Henadad another piece, from the house of Azariah unto the turning of the wall, even unto the corner.
25 Palali mwana Uzai anakonza chigawo china choyangʼanana ndi ngodya ndi nsanja yotuluka pa nyumba yapamwamba ya mfumu ku bwalo la alonda. Motsatana naye, Pedaya mwana wa Parosi,
Palal the son of Uzai, over against the turning of the wall, and the tower which lieth out from the king's high house, that was by the court of the prison. After him Pedaiah the son of Parosh.
26 ndi otumikira mʼNyumba ya Mulungu amene amakhala pa khoma la Ofeli anakonza chigawo china mpaka pa malo oyangʼanana ndi Chipata cha Madzi kuloza kummawa ndiponso nsanja yayitali ija.
Moreover the Nethinims dwelt in Ophel, unto the place over against the water gate toward the east, and the tower that lieth out.
27 Motsatana nawo, anthu a ku Tekowa anakonzanso chigawo china choyangʼanana ndi nsanja ija yayikulu ndi yayitali mpaka ku khoma la Ofeli.
After them the Tekoites repaired another piece, over against the great tower that lieth out, even unto the wall of Ophel.
28 Kuyambira ku Chipata cha Akavalo anakonza ndi ansembe ena ndipo aliyense amakonza khoma loyangʼanana ndi nyumba yake.
From above the horse gate repaired the priests, every one over against his house.
29 Motsatana nawo, Zadoki mwana wa Imeri anakonza chigawo china choyangʼanana ndi nyumba yake. Motsatana naye, Semeya mwana wa Sekaniya, mlonda wa Chipata cha Kummawa, anakonzanso khoma.
After them repaired Zadok the son of Immer over against his house. After him repaired also Shemaiah the son of Shechaniah, the keeper of the east gate.
30 Hananiya mwana wa Selemiya ndiponso Hanuni mwana wachisanu ndi chimodzi wa Zalafi anakonza chigawo china. Motsatana naye, Mesulamu mwana wa Berekiya anakonza chigawo choyangʼanana ndi chipinda chake.
After him repaired Hananiah the son of Shelemiah, and Hanun the sixth son of Zalaph, another piece. After him repaired Meshullam the son of Berechiah over against his chamber.
31 Motsatana naye, Malikiya mmodzi mwa amisiri a golide anakonza chigawo china mpaka ku nyumba ya atumiki a ku Nyumba ya Mulungu ndiponso ku nyumba ya anthu amalonda moyangʼanana ndi chipata cha Mifikade ndiponso mpaka pa chipinda chapamwamba chapangodya.
After him repaired Malchiah the goldsmith's son unto the place of the Nethinims, and of the merchants, over against the gate Miphkad, and to the going up of the corner.
32 Ndipo pakati pa chipinda chapamwamba chapangodya ndi Chipata cha Nkhosa anakonza ndi amisiri a golide ndi anthu amalonda.
And between the going up of the corner unto the sheep gate repaired the goldsmiths and the merchants.
