Nehemiya 11
1 Nthawi imeneyo atsogoleri a anthu ankakhala ku Yerusalemu. Tsono anthu ena onse anachita maere kuti apeze munthu mmodzi pa anthu khumi aliwonse kuti azikhala ku Yerusalemu, mzinda wopatulika. Anthu asanu ndi anayi otsalawo ankakhala mʼmidzi yawo.
And the heads of the people dwell in Jerusalem, and the rest of the people have caused lots to fall to bring in one out of ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts in the cities,
2 Anthu anayamikira onse amene anadzipereka kuti azikhala mu Yerusalemu.
and the people give a blessing to all the men who are offering themselves willingly to dwell in Jerusalem.
3 Aisraeli wamba, ansembe, Alevi, ogwira ntchito ku Nyumba ya Mulungu ndiponso zidzukulu za antchito a Solomoni ankakhala mʼmidzi yawo, aliyense mu dera lake. Koma atsogoleri a chigawo cha Yuda anali atakhazikika mu Yerusalemu.
And these [are] heads of the province who have dwelt in Jerusalem, and in cities of Judah, they have dwelt each in his possession in their cities; Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the Nethinim, and the sons of the servants of Solomon.
4 Ku Yerusalemu kunkakhalanso anthu ena a mafuko a Yuda ndi Benjamini. Ena mwa zidzukulu za Yuda ndi awa: Ataya, mwana wa Uziya, mwana wa Zekariya, mwana wa Amariya mwana wa Sefatiya, mwana wa Mahalaleli. Onsewa anali ana a Perezi.
And in Jerusalem have dwelt of the sons of Judah, and of the sons of Benjamin. Of the sons of Judah: Athaiah son of Uzziah, son of Zechariah, son of Amariah, son of Shephatiah, son of Mahalaleel, of the sons of Perez;
5 Ena ndi awa: Maaseya mwana wa Baruki, mwana wa Koli-Hoze mwana wa Hazaya, mwana wa Adaya, mwana wa Yowaribu, Zekariya mwana wa Msiloni.
and Masseiah son of Baruch, son of Col-Hozeh, son of Hazaiah, son of Adaiah, son of Joiarib, son of Zechariah, son of Shiloni;
6 Zidzukulu zonse za Perezi, anthu amphamvu zawo amene ankakhala ku Yerusalemu analipo anthu okwanira 468.
all the sons of Perez who are dwelling in Jerusalem [are] four hundred sixty-eight, men of valor.
7 Nazi zidzukulu za Benjamini: Salu mwana wa Mesulamu, mwana wa Yowedi, mwana wa Pedaya, mwana wa Kolaya, mwana wa Maaseiya, mwana wa Itieli, mwana wa Yesaiya.
And these [are] sons of Benjamin: Sallu son of Meshullam, son of Joed, son of Pedaiah, son of Kolaiah, son of Maaseiah, son of Ithiel, son of Jesaiah;

and after him Gabbai, Sallai, nine hundred twenty-eight.

And Joel son of Zichri [is] inspector over them, and Judah son of Senuah [is] over the city—second.

Of the priests: Jedaiah son of Joiarib, Jachin,
11 Seraya mwana wa Hilikiya mwana wa Mesulamu, mwana wa Zadoki, mwana wa Merayoti, mwana wa Ahitubi amene anali woyangʼanira Nyumba ya Mulungu,
Seraiah son of Hilkiah, son of Meshullam, son of Zadok, son of Meraioth, son of Ahitub, leader of the house of God,
12 ndi abale awo, amene ankagwira ntchito ku Nyumba ya Mulungu. Onse pamodzi anali 822. Panalinso Adaya mwana wa Yerohamu, mwana wa Pelaliya, mwana wa Amizi, mwana wa Zekariya, mwana wa Pasi-Huri, mwana wa Malikiya,
and their brothers doing the work of the house [are] eight hundred twenty-two; and Adaiah son of Jeroham, son of Pelaliah, son of Amzi, son of Zechariah, son of Pashhur, son of Malchiah,

and his brothers, heads of fathers, two hundred forty-two; and Amashsai son of Azareel, son of Ahazai, son of Meshillemoth, son of Immer,
14 ndi abale ake. Onse pamodzi anali 128 ndipo anali anthu olimba mtima kwambiri. Mtsogoleri wawo wamkulu anali Zabidieli mwana wa Hagedolimu.
and their brothers, one hundred twenty-eight mighty men of valor; and an inspector over them [is] Zabdiel, son of [one of] the great men.
15 Alevi anali awa: Semaya mwana wa Hasubu, mwana wa Azirikamu, mwana wa Hasabiya, mwana wa Buni.
And of the Levites: Shemaiah son of Hashub, son of Azrikam, son of Hashabiah, son of Bunni,
16 Sabetayi ndi Yozabadi anali atsogoleri amene ankayangʼanira ntchito ya kunja kwa Nyumba ya Mulungu.
and Shabbethai, and Jozabad, [are] over the outward work of the house of God, of the heads of the Levites,
17 Mataniya mwana wa Mika, mwana wa Zabidi, mwana wa Asafu ndiye anali wotsogolera pa mapemphero achiyamiko. Panalinso Bakibukiya amene anali wachiwiri pakati pa abale ake. Kuwonjezera apo panalinso Abida mwana wa Samuwa, mwana wa Galali, mwana wa Yedutuni.
and Mattaniah son of Micha, son of Zabdi, son of Asaph, [is] head—at the commencement he gives thanks in prayer; and Bakbukiah [is] second among his brothers, and Abda son of Shammua, son of Galal, son of Jeduthun.
18 Alevi onse amene anali mu mzinda woyera analipo 284.
All the Levites, in the holy city, [are] two hundred eighty-four.
19 Alonda a ku Nyumba ya Mulungu anali awa: Akubu, Talimoni ndi abale awo. Onse pamodzi anali 172.
And the gatekeepers, Akkub, Talmon, and their brothers, those watching at the gates, [are] one hundred seventy-two.
20 Aisraeli ena onse pamodzi ndi ansembe ndi Alevi ankakhala mʼmizinda ya Yuda, ndipo aliyense ankakhala mʼdera la makolo ake.
And the rest of Israel, of the priests, of the Levites, [are] in all cities of Judah, each in his inheritance;
21 Koma antchito a ku Nyumba ya Mulungu ankakhala pa phiri la Ofeli, ndipo Ziha ndi Gisipa ndiwo anali kuwayangʼanira.
and the Nethinim are dwelling in Ophel, and Ziha and Gishpa [are] over the Nethinim.
22 Wamkulu wa Alevi mu Yerusalemu anali Uzi mwana wa Bani, mwana wa Hasabiya, mwana wa Mataniya, mwana wa Mika. Uzi anali mmodzi wa zidzukulu za Asafu, amene anali oyimba nyimbo pa nthawi zachipembedzo mʼNyumba ya Mulungu.
And the overseer of the Levites in Jerusalem [is] Uzzi son of Bani, son of Hashabiah, son of Mattaniah, son of Micha—of the sons of Asaph, the singers [who are] for the front of the work of the house of God,
23 Pakuti mfumu inalamula kuti tsiku ndi tsiku pa nthawi zachipembedzo oyimba nyimbowo azikhalapo.
for the command of the king [is] on them, and support [is] for the singers, a matter of a day in its day.
24 Petahiya mwana wa Mesezabeli, mmodzi mwa zidzukulu za Zera mwana wa Yuda ndiye ankayimirira Aisraeli pa bwalo la mfumu ya Perisiya.
And Pethahiah son of Meshezabeel, of the sons of Zerah, son of Judah, [is] by the hand of the king, for every matter of the people.
25 Anthu ena a fuko la Yuda ankakhala ku Kiriyati-Ariba ndi midzi yake, ku Diboni ndi midzi yake, ku Yekabizeeli ndi midzi yake,
And at the villages with their fields, of the sons of Judah there have dwelt, in Kirjath-Arba and its small towns, and in Dibon and its small towns, and in Jekabzeel and its villages,
26 ku Yesuwa, Molada, Beti-Peleti,
and in Jeshua, and in Moladah, and in Beth-Phelet,
27 Hazari-Suwali, Beeriseba ndi midzi yawo.
and in Hazar-Shaul, and in Beer-Sheba and its small towns,
28 Ku Zikilagi, Mekona ndi midzi yawo,
and in Ziklag, and in Mekonah and in its small towns,
29 ku Eni-Rimoni, Zora, Yarimuti,
and En-Rimmon, and in Zareah, and in Jarmuth,
30 Zanowa, Adulamu ndi midzi yake, ku Lakisi ndi minda yake, ku Beeriseba mpaka ku chigwa cha Hinomu.
Zanoah, Adullam, and their villages, Lachish and its fields, Azekah and its small towns; and they encamp from Beer-Sheba to the Valley of Hinnom.
31 Nazonso zidzukulu za Benjamini zinkakhala mʼdera lawo kuyambira ku Geba mpaka ku Mikimasi, Ayiya, Beteli ndi midzi yake,
And sons of Benjamin [are] at Geba, Michmash, and Aija, and Beth-El, and its small towns,
32 ku Anatoti, Nobu ndi Ananiya,
Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah,
33 ku Hazori, Rama ndi Gitaimu,
Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim,
34 ku Hadidi, Zeboimu ndi Nebalati,
Hadid, Zeboim, Neballat,
35 ku Lodi, Ono ndi ku chigwa cha Amisiri.
Lod, and Ono, the Valley of the Craftsmen.
36 Magulu ena a Alevi a ku Yuda ankakhala ku Benjamini.
And of the Levites, the divisions of Judah [are] for Benjamin.
