< Mateyu 22 >

1 Yesu anayankhula nawonso mʼmafanizo, nati,
Yeshua [Salvation] answered and spoke again in parables to them, saying,
2 “Ufumu wakumwamba uli ngati mfumu imene inakonzera phwando mwana wake wamwamuna.
“The Kingdom of Heaven (God) is like a certain king, who made a marriage feast for his son,
3 Anatumiza antchito ake kwa amene anayitanidwa kuphwando koma anakana kubwera.
and sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the marriage feast, but they would not come.
4 “Kenaka anatumiza antchito ena nati, ‘Awuzeni oyitanidwa kuti phwando lakonzedwa: ndapha ngʼombe yayimuna ndi nyama zina zonenepa ndipo zonse zakonzedwa. Bwerani ku phwando laukwati.’
Again he sent out other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who are invited, “Behold, I have prepared my dinner. My cattle and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the marriage feast!”’
5 “Koma iwo sanalabadire ndipo anachoka; wina anapita ku munda wake ndi wina ku malonda ake.
But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his merchandise,
6 Ndipo otsalawo anagwira antchito ake, nawazunza ndi kuwapha.
and the rest grabbed his servants, and treated them shamefully, and killed them.
7 Mfumu inakwiya. Inatumiza asilikali ake ndipo anawononga opha anzawowo ndi kutentha mzinda wawo.
When the king heard that, he was angry, and sent his armies, destroyed those murderers, and burned their city.
8 “Pamenepo anati kwa antchito ake, ‘Phwando laukwati lakonzedwa, koma amene ndinawayitana sanali oyenera.
“Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy.
9 Pitani ku mphambano za misewu ndipo kayitaneni aliyense amene mukamupeze kuti abwere ku phwando.’
Go therefore to the intersections of the highways, and as many as you may find, invite to the marriage feast.’
10 Pamenepo antchitowo anapita ku misewu nakasonkhanitsa anthu onse amene anakawapeza, abwino ndi oyipa omwe, ndipo nyumba ya madyerero inadzaza ndi oyitanidwa.
Those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together as many as they found, both bad and good. The wedding was filled with guests.
11 “Koma pamene mfumu inabwera kudzaona oyitanidwawo, inaona munthu amene sanavale zovala zaukwati.
But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man who didn’t have on wedding clothing,
12 Inamufunsa kuti, ‘Bwenzi walowa bwanji muno wopanda zovala zaukwati?’ Munthuyo anakhala chete.
and he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here not wearing wedding clothing?’ He was speechless.
13 “Pamenepo mfumuyo inawuza otumikira kuti, ‘Mʼmangeni manja ndi miyendo, ndipo muponyeni kunja, ku mdima kumene kudzakhale kulira ndi kukuta mano.’
Then the king said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and throw him into the outer darkness; there is where the weeping and grinding of teeth will be.’
14 “Popeza oyitanidwa ndi ambiri koma osankhidwa ndi ochepa.”
For many are called, but few chosen.”
15 Kenaka Afarisi anatuluka nakakonza njira zomupezera zifukwa Yesu mʼmawu ake.
Then the Pharisees [Separated] went and took counsel how they might entrap him in his talk.
16 Anatumiza ophunzira awo kwa Iye pamodzi ndi Aherodia. Anati, “Aphunzitsi, tidziwa kuti ndinu wangwiro ndi kuti mumaphunzitsa mawu a Mulungu monga mwa choonadi. Simutekeseka ndi anthu, popeza simusamala kuti kodi ndi ndani?
They sent their disciples to him, along with the Herodians, saying, “Rabbi ·Teacher·, we know that you are honest, and teach the way of God in truth, no matter whom you teach, for you are not partial to anyone.
17 Tiwuzeni tsono maganizo anu ndi otani, kodi nʼkololedwa kupereka msonkho kwa Kaisara kapena ayi?”
Tell us what you think: Does Torah ·Teaching· permit paying taxes to Caesar [Ruler], or not?”
18 Koma Yesu podziwa maganizo awo oyipa anati, “Inu achiphamaso, bwanji mufuna kundipezera chifukwa?
But Yeshua [Salvation] perceived their wickedness, and said, “Why do you test me, you hypocrites?
19 Onetseni ndalama imene mumapereka msonkho.” Iwo anabweretsa dinari,
Show me the tax money.” They brought to him a denarius [one day’s wage].
20 ndipo anawafunsa kuti, “Kodi chithunzi ichi ndi malemba awa ndi za ndani?”
He asked them, “Whose is this image and inscription?”
21 Iwo anayankha kuti, “Ndi za Kaisara.” Pamenepo anawawuza kuti, “Perekani kwa Kaisara zake za Kaisara, ndi kwa Mulungu zake za Mulungu.”
They said to him, “Caesar’s [Ruler]’s.” Then he said to them, “Give therefore to Caesar [Ruler] the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”
22 Atamva izi, anadabwa, ndipo anamusiya Iye, nachoka.
When they heard it, they marveled, and left him, and went away.
23 Tsiku lomwelo Asaduki amene amati kulibe za kuukanso, anabwera kwa Iye ndi funso.
On that day Sadducees [Morally-upright] (those who say that there is no resurrection) came to him. They asked him hard questions,
24 Iwo anati, “Aphunzitsi, Mose anatiwuza kuti munthu akamwalira wosasiya ana, mʼbale wake akuyenera kukwatira mkazi wamasiyeyo kuti amuberekere ana mʼbale wakeyo.
saying, “Rabbi ·Teacher·, Moses [Drawn out] said, ‘If a man dies, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up offspring for his brother.’
25 Tsopano panali abale asanu ndi awiri pakati pathu. Woyambayo anakwatira ndipo anamwalira, ndipo popeza analibe ana, mʼbale wake analowa chokolo.
Now there were with us seven brothers. The first married and died, and having no offspring left his wife to his brother.
26 Izi zinachitikiranso mʼbale wa chiwiri ndi wachitatu mpaka wachisanu ndi chiwiri.
In the same way, the second also, and the third, to the seventh.
27 Pa mapeto pake mkaziyo anamwaliranso.
After them all, the woman died.
28 Tsopano, kodi akadzaukitsidwa adzakhala mkazi wa ndani mwa asanu ndi awiriwa popeza aliyense anamukwatirapo?”
In the resurrection therefore, whose wife will she be of the seven? For they all had her.”
29 Yesu anayankha kuti, “Inu mukulakwitsa chifukwa simukudziwa malemba kapena mphamvu ya Mulungu.
But Yeshua [Salvation] answered them, “You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God.
30 Anthu akadzaukitsidwa, sadzakwatira kapena kukwatiwa; adzakhala ngati angelo kumwamba.
For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are like God’s angels in heaven.
31 Koma za kuukitsidwa kwa akufa, kodi simunawerenge zimene Mulungu ananena kwa inu kuti,
But concerning the resurrection of the dead, haven’t you read that which was spoken to you by God, saying,
32 ‘Ine ndine Mulungu wa Abrahamu, Mulungu wa Isake ndi Mulungu wa Yakobo?’ Iyeyo si Mulungu wa akufa koma wa amoyo.”
‘I am the God of Abraham [Father of a multitude], and the God of Isaac [Laughter], and the God of Jacob [Supplanter]?’ God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.”
33 Magulu a anthu atamva zimenezi, anazizwa ndi chiphunzitso chake.
When the multitudes heard it, they were astonished at his teaching.
34 Pakumva kuti Yesu anawakhalitsa chete Asaduki, Afarisi anasonkhana pamodzi.
But the Pharisees [Separated], when they heard that he had silenced the Sadducees [Morally-upright], gathered themselves together.
35 Mmodzi wa iwo, katswiri wa malamulo anamuyesa Iye ndi funso ndipo anati,
One of them, a Torah-expert, asked him a question, testing him.
36 “Aphunzitsi, kodi lamulo lalikulu koposa mu malamulo ndi liti?”
“Rabbi ·Teacher·, which of the mitzvot ·instructions· in the Torah ·Teaching· is the most important?”
37 Yesu anayankha kuti, “Uzikonda Yehova Mulungu wako ndi mtima wako wonse ndi moyo wako wonse ndi nzeru zako zonse.
Yeshua [Salvation] said to him, “‘You shall have agapao ·total devotion love· to MarYah [Master Yahweh] your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
38 Ili ndi lamulo loyamba ndi loposa onse.
This is the greatest and most important mitzvah ·instruction·.
39 Ndipo lachiwiri ndi lofanana nalo: ‘Konda mnansi wako monga iwe mwini.’
A second likewise is this, ‘You shall show agapao ·total devoted love· to your neighbor as yourself.’
40 Malamulo onse ndi aneneri zakhazikika pa malamulo awiriwa.”
All of the Torah ·Teaching· and the Prophets depend on these two mitzvot ·instructions·.”
41 Afarisi atasonkhana pamodzi, Yesu anawafunsa kuti,
Now while the Pharisees [Separated] were gathered together, Yeshua [Salvation] asked them a question,
42 “Kodi mukuganiza bwanji za Khristu? Ndi Mwana wa ndani?” Iwo anayankha kuti, “Mwana wa Davide.”
saying, “What do you think of the Messiah [Anointed one]? Whose son is he?” They said to him, “Of David [Beloved].”
43 Iye anawawuza kuti, “Nanga zikutheka bwanji kuti Davide poyankhula mwa Mzimu Woyera amatchula Iye ‘Ambuye?’ Pakuti akuti,
He said to them, “How then does David [Beloved] in haRuach [the Spirit, Breath] call him MarYah [Master Yahweh], saying,
44 “Ambuye anati kwa Ambuye wanga: ‘Khala pa dzanja langa lamanja mpaka ndiyike adani ako pansi pa mapazi ako.’
‘Yahweh said to 'adoni ·my Lord·, sit at my right hand, until I put your enemies under your feet’?
45 Ngati tsono Davide amamutchula ‘Ambuye,’ zingatheke bwanji kukhala mwana wake?”
“If then David [Beloved] calls him MarYah [Master Yahweh], in what way can he be his son?”
46 Panalibe wina anatha kuyankha, ndipo kuchokera pamenepo, panalibe wina anayerekeza kumufunsa funso.
No one was able to answer him a word, neither did any man dare ask him any more hard questions from that day forward.
