< Mateyu 10 >

1 Yesu anayitana ophunzira ake khumi ndi awiri ndipo anawapatsa ulamuliro otulutsa mizimu yoyipa ndi kuchiritsa nthenda iliyonse ndi zofowoka zilizonse.
Calling his twelve Disciples to him, Jesus gave them authority over foul spirits, so that they could drive them out, as well as the power of curing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness.
2 Mayina a atumwi khumi ndi awiriwo ndi awa: woyamba, Simoni (wotchedwa Petro) ndi mʼbale wake Andreya; Yakobo mwana wa Zebedayo ndi mʼbale wake Yohane,
The names of the twelve Apostles are these: First Simon, also known as Peter, and his brother Andrew; James the son of Zebediah, and his brother John;
3 Filipo ndi Bartumeyu, Tomasi ndi Mateyu wolandira msonkho, Yakobo mwana wa Alufeyo ndi Tadeyo;
Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax-gather; James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus;
4 Simoni Mzerote ndi Yudasi Isikarioti, amene anamupereka Iye.
Simon the Zealot, and Judas Iscariot — the Apostle who betrayed him.
5 Yesu anatuma khumi ndi awiriwo ndi kuwalamula kuti, “Musapite kwa anthu a mitundu ina kapena kulowa mʼmudzi uliwonse wa Asamariya.
These twelve Jesus sent out as his Messengers, after giving them these instructions — “Do not go to the Gentiles, nor enter any Samaritan town,
6 Koma pitani kwa nkhosa zotayika za banja la Israeli.
but make your way rather to the lost sheep of Israel.
7 Pamene mukupita, muzikalalikira uthenga uwu: ‘Ufumu wakumwamba wayandikira.’
And on your way proclaim that the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.
8 Chiritsani odwala, ukitsani akufa, chiritsani akhate, tulutsani ziwanda. Munalandira kwaulere, perekani kwaulere.
Cure the sick, raise the dead, make the lepers clean, drive out demons. You have received free of cost, give free of cost.
9 “Musatenge ndalama zagolide kapena zasiliva kapena zakopala mʼzikwama mwanu;
Do not provide yourselves with gold, or silver, or pence in your purses;
10 musatenge thumba la paulendo, kapena malaya awiri kapena nsapato kapena ndodo; pakuti wantchito ayenera kulandira chakudya chake.
not even with a bag for the journey, or a change of clothes, or sandals, or even a staff; for the worker is worth his food.
11 Mukalowa mu mzinda ndi mʼmudzi uliwonse, funafunani munthu woyenera ndipo mukhale mʼnyumba mwake kufikira mutachoka.
Whatever town or village you visit, find out who is worthy in that place, and remain there till you leave.
12 Pamene mulowa mʼnyumba mupereke moni.
As you enter the house, greet it.
13 Mtendere wanu ukhale pa a mʼnyumbayo ngati ndi oyenera. Koma ngati siwoyenera, mtendere wanu ubwerere kwa inu.
Then, if the house is worthy, let your blessing rest upon it, but, if it is unworthy, let your blessing return upon yourselves.
14 Ngati wina aliyense sakakulandirani kapena sakamvera mawu anu, musase fumbi la kumapazi anu pamene mutuluka mʼnyumbayo kapena mu mzindawo.
If no one welcomes you, or listens to what you say, as you leave that house or that town, shake off its dust from your feet.
15 Zoonadi, Ine ndikuwuzani kuti pa tsiku lachiweruziro, mlandu wa Sodomu ndi Gomora udzachepa kusiyana ndi wa mzindawo.
I tell you, the doom of the land of Sodom and Gomorrah will be more bearable in the ‘Day of Judgment’ than the doom of that town.
16 “Taonani ndikukutumizani inu monga nkhosa pakati pa mimbulu. Chifukwa chake khalani ochenjera ngati njoka ndi woona mtima ngati nkhunda.
Remember, I am sending you out as my Messengers like sheep among wolves. So be as wise as serpents, and as blameless as doves.
17 Chenjerani ndi anthu pakuti adzakuperekani ku mabwalo amilandu nadzakukwapulani mʼmasunagoge mwawo.
Be on your guard against your fellow men, for they will betray you to courts of law, and scourge you in their Synagogues;
18 Chifukwa cha Ine, mudzaperekedwa kwa olamulira ndi kwa mafumu kuti mukhale mboni kwa iwo ndi kwa a mitundu ina.
and you will be brought before governors and kings for my sake, that you may witness for me before them and the nations.
19 Koma pamene akumangani, inu musadandaule kuti mukanena bwanji kapena mukanena chiyani. Mudzapatsidwa pa nthawi imeneyo zoti munene,
Whenever they betray you, do not be anxious as to how you shall speak or what you shall say, for what you shall say will be given you at the moment;
20 pakuti sindinu mudzanena, koma Mzimu Woyera wa Atate anu, adzayankhula mwa inu.
for it will not be you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father that speaks within you.
21 “Mʼbale adzapereka mʼbale kuti aphedwe ndi abambo mwana wawo: ndipo ana adzawukira makolo awo ndi kuwapereka kuti aphedwe.
Brother will betray brother to death, and the father his child; and children will turn against their parents, and cause them to be put to death;
22 Anthu onse adzada inu chifukwa cha Ine, koma iye amene apirira mpaka kumapeto, adzapulumuka.
and you will be hated by every one on account of my Name. Yet the man that endures to the end shall be saved.
23 Pamene akuzunzani pamalo ena thawirani kwina. Pakuti ndikuwuzani zoonadi kuti simudzamaliza mizinda yonse ya Israeli Mwana wa Munthu asanabwere.
But, when they persecute you in one town, escape to the next; for, I tell you, you will not have come to the end of the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.
24 “Wophunzira saposa mphunzitsi wake ndipo wantchito saposa bwana wake.
A scholar is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master.
25 Nʼkoyenera kuti wophunzira akhale ngati mphunzitsi wake, ndi wantchito akhale ngati bwana wake. Ngati mwini banja atchedwa Belezebabu, koposa kotani a mʼnyumba mwake!
It is enough for a scholar to be treated like his teacher, and a servant like his master. If the head of the house has been called Baal-zebub, how much more the members of his household!
26 “Chifukwa chake musaope iwo. Pakuti palibe chinthu chobisika chimene sichidzavundukulidwa, ndi chobisika chimene sichidzadziwika.
Do not, therefore, be afraid of them. There is nothing concealed which will not be revealed, nor anything hidden which will not become known.
27 Chimene ndikuwuzani Ine mu mdima, muchiyankhule poyera; chimene akunongʼonezani mʼkhutu, muchilalikire muli pa denga.
What I tell you in the dark, say again in the light; and what is whispered in your ear, proclaim upon the housetops.
28 Musamaope amene amapha thupi koma sangathe kuchotsa moyo. Koma muziopa Iye amene akhoza kupha mzimu ndi kuwononga thupi mu gehena. (Geenna g1067)
And do not be afraid of those who kill the body, but are unable to kill the soul; rather be afraid of him who is able to destroy both soul and body in the Pit. (Geenna g1067)
29 Kodi suja amagulitsa mbalame ziwiri ndi ndalama imodzi? Koma palibe imodzi ya izo imene idzagwa pansi wopanda chifuniro cha Atate anu.
Are not two sparrows sold for a half-penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground without your Father’s knowledge.
30 Ndipo ngakhale tsitsi la mʼmutu mwanu linawerengedwa kale.
While as for you, the very hairs of your head are numbered.
31 Potero musaope; inu ndinu a mtengo woposa mbalame zambiri.
Do not, therefore, be afraid; you are of more value than many sparrows.
32 “Aliyense amene avomereza Ine pamaso pa anthu, Inenso ndidzavomereza pamaso pa Atate anga akumwamba.
Every one, therefore, who shall acknowledge me before his fellow men, I, too, will acknowledge before my Father who is in Heaven;
33 Koma iye amene andikana Ine pamaso pa anthu, Inenso ndidzamukana pamaso pa Atate anga akumwamba.
but, if any one disowns me before his fellow men, I, too, will disown him before my Father who is in Heaven.
34 “Musaganize kuti Ine ndabweretsa mtendere pa dziko lapansi. Sindinabwere kudzapereka mtendere koma lupanga.
Do not imagine that I have come to bring peace upon the earth. I have come to bring, not peace, but the sword.
35 Pakuti Ine ndabwera kudzalekanitsa “‘Munthu ndi abambo ake, mwana wamkazi ndi amayi ake, mtengwa kulekanitsidwa ndi apongozi ake,
For I have come to set — ‘a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.
36 adani a munthu adzakhala a mʼbanja mwake momwe.’
A man’s enemies will be the members of his own household.’
37 “Aliyense amene akonda abambo kapena amayi ake koposa Ine sayenera kukhala wanga; aliyense amene akonda mwana wake wamwamuna kapena wamkazi koposa Ine sayenera kukhala wanga.
He who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he who loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
38 Aliyense amene satenga mtanda wake ndi kunditsata Ine sayenera kukhala wanga.
And the man who does not take his cross and follow in my steps is not worthy of me.
39 Aliyense amene asunga moyo wake adzawutaya koma aliyense amene ataya moyo chifukwa cha Ine adzawupeza.
He who has found his life will lose it, while he who, for my sake, has lost his life shall find it.
40 “Iye amene alandira inu alandira Ine, ndipo amene alandira Ine alandiranso amene anandituma Ine.
He who welcomes you is welcoming me; and he who welcomes me is welcoming him who sent me as his Messenger.
41 Aliyense amene alandira mneneri chifukwa chakuti ndi mneneri alandira mphotho ya mneneri, ndipo aliyense amene alandira munthu wolungama chifukwa chakuti ndi munthu wolungama, adzalandira mphotho ya wolungama.
He who welcomes a Prophet, because he is a Prophet, shall receive a Prophet’s reward; and he who welcomes a good man, because he is a good man, shall receive a good man’s reward.
42 Ngati aliyense apereka madzi ozizira a mʼchikho kwa mmodzi wa angʼonoangʼono awa chifukwa cha kuti ndi ophunzira anga, ndikuwuzani zoona, ndithudi sadzataya mphotho yake.”
And, if any one gives but a cup of cold water to one of these lowly ones because he is a disciple, I tell you that he shall assuredly not lose his reward.”
