1 Dziko limene linapatsidwa kwa fuko la Yosefe linayambira ku mtsinje wa Yorodani ku Yeriko, kummawa kwa akasupe a Yeriko, ndiponso kuyambira mtsinje wa Yorodaniwo nʼkumakwera, kudutsa mʼchipululu mpaka ku mapiri a ku Beteli.
And the lot fell to the children of Ioseph from Iorden by Iericho vnto the water of Iericho Eastward, and to the wildernes that goeth vp from Iericho by the mount Beth-el:
2 Kuchokera ku Beteli malire ake anakafika ku Luzi, kudutsa dziko la Ataroti kumene kumakhala Aariki.
And goeth out from Beth-el to Luz, and runneth along vnto the borders of Archiataroth,
3 Malirewo anatsikira cha kumadzulo kwa dziko la Yafuleti mpaka ku chigawo cha kumunsi kwa Beti-Horoni. Kuchokera kumeneko anapitirira mpaka ku Gezeri nʼkuthera ku Nyanja.
And goeth down Westward to the coast of Iaphleti, vnto the coast of Beth-horon the nether, and to Gezer: and the endes thereof are at the Sea.
4 Choncho Manase ndi Efereimu, ana a Yosefe analandira cholowa chawo.
So the children of Ioseph, Manasseh and Ephraim tooke their inheritance.
5 Dziko la mabanja a fuko la Efereimu ndi ili: Malire a dzikolo anachokera kummawa kwa Ataroti Adari mpaka ku mtunda kwa Beti-Horoni.
Also the borders of the children of Ephraim according to their families, euen the borders of their inheritance on the Eastside were Atroth-addar, vnto Beth-horon the vpper.
6 Malirewo anapitirira mpaka ku nyanja. Mikimetati anali kumpoto kwake. Kuchokera kumeneko anakhotera cha kummawa kuloza ku Taanati Silo ndi kudutsa kumeneko cha kummawa mpaka ku Yanowa.
And this border goeth out to the Sea vnto Michmethah on the Northside, and this border returneth Eastward vnto Taanathshiloh, and passeth it on the Eastside vnto Ianohah,
7 Ndipo kuchokera ku Yanowa anatsikira ku Ataroti ndi Naara, nakafika ku Yeriko ndi kukathera ku mtsinje wa Yorodani.
And goeth downe from Ianohah to Ataroth, and Naarath, and commeth to Iericho, and goeth out at Iorden.
8 Kuchokera ku Tapuwa anapita kumadzulo mpaka ku mtsinje wa Kana ndi kukathera ku nyanja. Dziko ili linali cholowa cha mabanja afuko la Efereimu,
And this border goeth from Tappuah Westward vnto the riuer Kanah, and the endes thereof are at the Sea: this is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of Ephraim by their families.
9 kuphatikizapo mizinda yonse ndi midzi yake yopatsidwa kwa Efereimu, koma yokhala mʼkati mwa dziko la Manase.
And the separate cities for the children of Ephraim were among the inheritance of the children of Manasseh: all the cities with their villages.
10 Iwo sanapirikitse Akanaani amene amakhala ku Gezeri ndipo mpaka lero Akanaani akukhala pakati pa Aefereimu koma amagwira ntchito ngati akapolo.
And they cast not out the Canaanite that dwelt in Gezer, but the Canaanite dwelt among the Ephraimites vnto this day, and serued vnder tribute.
