< Yobu 29 >

1 Yobu anapitiriza kuyankhula kwake:
And Job adds to lift up his allegory and says:
2 “Aa! Ndikanakhala momwe ndinalili miyezi yapitayi, masiku amene Mulungu ankandiyangʼanira,
“Who makes me as [in] months past, As [in] the days of God’s preserving me?
3 pamene nyale yake inkandiwunikira ndipo ndi kuwunika kwakeko ine ndinkatha kuyenda mu mdima!
In His causing His lamp to shine on my head, By His light I walk [through] darkness.
4 Ndithu, masiku amene ndinali pabwino kwambiri, pamene ubwenzi wa Mulungu unkabweretsa madalitso pa nyumba yanga,
As I have been in days of my maturity, And the counsel of God on my tent.
5 nthawi imene Wamphamvuzonse anali nane, ndipo ana anga anali atandizungulira mʼmbalimu,
When yet the Mighty One [is] with me. Around me—my young ones,
6 pamene popondapo ine panali patakhathamira mafuta a mkaka, ndipo pa thanthwe pamatuluka mitsinje ya mafuta a olivi.
When washing my goings with butter, And the firm rock [is] with me—streams of oil.
7 “Pamene ndinkapita pa chipata cha mzinda ndi kukhala pa mpando wanga pabwalo,
When I go out to the gate by the city, In a broad place I prepare my seat.
8 anyamata amati akandiona ankapatuka ndipo anthu akuluakulu ankayimirira;
Youths have seen me, and they have been hidden, And the aged have risen—they stood up.
9 atsogoleri ankakhala chete ndipo ankagwira pakamwa pawo;
Princes have kept in words, And they place a hand on their mouth.
10 anthu otchuka ankangoti duu, ndipo malilime awo anali atamatirira ku nkhama zawo.
The voice of leaders has been hidden, And their tongue has cleaved to the palate.
11 Aliyense amene anamva za ine anayankhula zabwino zanga, ndipo iwo amene anandiona ankandiyamikira,
For the ear heard, and declares me blessed, And the eye has seen, and testifies [to] me.
12 chifukwa ndinkapulumutsa mʼmphawi wofuna chithandizo, ndiponso mwana wamasiye amene analibe aliyense womuthandiza.
For I deliver the afflicted who is crying, And the fatherless who has no helper.
13 Munthu amene anali pafupi kufa ankandidalitsa; ndinkasangalatsanso mkazi wamasiye.
The blessing of the perishing comes on me, And I cause the heart of the widow to sing.
14 Chilungamo chinali ngati chovala changa; chiweruzo cholungama ndiye chinali mkanjo ndi nduwira yanga.
I have put on righteousness, and it clothes me, My justice as a robe and a crown.
15 Ndinali ngati maso kwa anthu osapenya; ndinali ngati mapazi kwa anthu olumala.
I have been eyes to the blind, And I [am] feet to the lame.
16 Ndinali ngati abambo kwa anthu aumphawi; ndinkayimira mlendo pa mlandu wake.
I [am] a father to the needy, And the cause I have not known I search out.
17 Ndinkawononga mphamvu za anthu oyipa ndi kulanditsa amene anali atagwidwa.
And I break the jaw-teeth of the perverse, And from his teeth I cast away prey.
18 “Ndinkaganiza kuti, ‘Ndidzafera mʼnyumba yanga, masiku a moyo wanga ali ochuluka ngati mchenga.
And I say, I expire with my nest, And I multiply days as the sand.
19 Mizu yanga idzatambalalira ku madzi, ndipo mame adzakhala pa nthambi zanga usiku wonse.
My root is open to the waters, And dew lodges on my branch.
20 Ulemerero wanga udzakhala wosaguga mwa ine, ndipo uta wanga udzakhala watsopano nthawi zonse mʼdzanja langa.’
My glory [is] fresh with me, And my bow is renewed in my hand.
21 “Anthu ankamvetsera zimene ndinkanena mwachidwi, ankadikira atakhala chete kuti amve malangizo anga.
They have listened to me, Indeed, they wait, and are silent for my counsel.
22 Ndikayankhula, iwo sankayankhulanso; mawu anga ankawagwira mtima.
After my word they do not change, And my speech drops on them,
23 Ankayembekezera ine monga momwe amayembekezera mvula ndipo ankalandira mawu anga ngati mvula ya mʼmalimwe.
And they wait for me as [for] rain, And they have opened wide their mouth [As] for the spring rain.
24 Ndikawasekerera, iwo sankatha kukhulupirira; kuwala kwa nkhope yanga chinali chinthu chamtengowapatali kwa iwowo.
I laugh at them—they give no credence, And do not cause the light of my face to fall.
25 Ndinkawasankhira njira yawo ndipo ndinkawatsogolera ngati mfumu; ndinkakhala ngati mfumu pakati pa gulu lake lankhondo; ndinali ngati msangalatsi pakati pa anthu olira.”
I choose their way, and sit [as] head, And I dwell as a king in a troop, When he comforts mourners.”
